• Strange folder Mac Mail with Exchange account

  At our office we have recently moved from an internal e-mail to the Office Server Exchange account to Office 365. There is a strange folder appear on all Macs do anything ranging from the El Capitan back to the Lion where a folder called "Files" appear in the list of folder icons in the sidebar. This folder does not appear when connected to Office 365 via a web browser, but it behaves like a single folder, because it can not be removed (a bit like the record of Conversations and new background image file).

  In the folder named "Files" appears to be a collection of recipes from any email that had an attachment either sent or received. Not actually content, just a bunch of time and date stamp info, file name and a few times the code. Always displayed as SENDER of NO.

  No idea what it is and how make us it go away?

  I have also experienced this problem.

  Not sure what exactly is the cause, but all attachments sent or received are stripped of its text and an empty email with no recipient is located in the folder "files".

  When I start Outlook on Mac or Office365 in the browser, I can't see the folder "files".

• Strange folder icons [unrecognized icons]

  Last week, I noticed that the icons for my records in the two storage drives that I have connected to my computer display the unknown icon next to them, instead of the folder icon which should be present. Here is an example:

  

  This image is from files in the C:\Windows folder. This icon appears on every folder in the system, including those on the desktop:

  

  However, I noticed a things on the behavior of these folder icons on my system. Here is what I noticed:

  If I change the display of my folders of content, medium icons, large icons or large icons, tiles, the image folder is displayed correctly., with the exception of a few icons that are always displayed in form of unrecognized icon. Here is a picture of the same part of my content with the view defined for C:\Windows folder:

  
  Another thing I noticed (which applies only to the desktop), it's that when I place a file inside of a filer on the desktop, the correct icon for the folder will appear:

  Currently, that's all, I noticed on my behavior of folder icon.

  If anyone here can help me difficulty these icons to their expected image (the folder icon), it would be greatly appreciated. If I could achieve this without using 3rd party applications it would be even more appreciated. Thank you very much

  Hello again, it was a while.

  I had another problem. I don't know if it's to do with the custom theme, but I'll tell you about it here.

  An automatic update installed for Windows a few days ago. The night before the problems happened the PC was fine. I shut down the computer and it configured updates (such as windows usually does when it is updated). The next day, I turned the computer and it would not be at the logon screen boot. I tried the Safe Mode. Same thing. I was getting a blue screen. I don't remember the mistake of all, but the main matter was "Page fault in non paged area" I think it's to do with memory, I checked my RAM using a tool that I found on the boot screen options (?) (I don't remember exactly how I did it), and it was just beautiful. Even the system restore was not fixing it. Finally, I took my Windows CD and somehow fixed by restoring the System Image. I'm sorry if that didn't make much sense, but it was quite all right, and I don't remember all the details.

  In any case, now that my system works again, I wondered why the blue screen kept appearing. And I think that it is to make the recent Windows updates I installed the day before to (not 100% sure if). I turned off "auto update" and I have no problems now. But I know, it is recommended to install all the recent updates, but I'm a little afraid that if I install them the blue screen will return.

• XControl - behavior strange element parameters

  I develop an XControl and I came across a strange problem. If I create a property and go in properties XControl-> settings for and select property, I am able to set the Unique identifier, description, etc. But when I close the project and open it again and go into settings of the element of the property is not marked as property more (it appears as a normal folder), so I'm not able to set Unique identifier, description, etc. more. I have attached two images below that shows the behavior. Judge several times and it's always the same, as when I create new XControl. I have LV 2012.

  Dear Andrej!

  Thanks for the detailed description. I checked, and it's a known issue with LabVIEW currently.

  To work around this problem, you can open the XControl directly with LabVIEW (so just open it as it is and not as part of a project).  This allows you to see and specify all the parameters of the element correctly.

• Behavior strange screen/video Satellite Pro P100-109

  I have a strange problem with my Satellite Pro (P100-109 model pspa3e 00n009du). I edge video card printing is letting me down, so if anyone has a solution so please help!

  Yesterday, while working properly since I bought the machine, I had a strange video behavior. Black icon arround windows not updated correctly etc.
  After a restart of the system, these problems seemed resolved, but it lasted just a view minutes.
  After awhile, I got a blue screen (BCCode: ea BCP1...) BCP4:00000001 SP: 2.0) learned Internet research that his had to do with the video driver.

  Symptoms of the display:
  -Vertical dotted lines shown on the screen of the bios toshiba (variety of colors)
  -Loading of Windows show a few vertical lines as well
  -After loading the clickable elements appear black (not titles of window - no buttons shown/rendering)
  -L' screen goes black every 4 seconds
  -System responds very slowly, but sometimes it seems that it works normally
  -mouse disappears
  -After awhile that I get a black screen, system does not answer more.
  -In windows safe mode (so do not using the nvidia drivers), the display seems to work normally

  DID the next trying to solve my problem in vain:

  -J' I uninstalled/removed the nvidia drivers and installed the last on the toshiba site.
  -Deletion of original and installed drivers drivers Guru3D site (also used the Driverutility from the same site).
  -J' I uninstalled/removed the nvidia drivers and installed the original
  -Upgrade to SP3

  Uninstalling the driver (in safe mode) and so to use a generic driver only seem to work.

  Anyone know how this can be resolved or are these signs that the nVidia GeForce Go 7900 has been roasted.

  Long story. short answer...

  It is really possible that your GPU chip malfunctions.

  I came to this conclusion because the laptop don t symptoms occur if the graphics driver is not installed.
  If the graphics card driver is installed the graphics card would go with the best performance and possibly graph questions would appear once again.

  I think that you can't do anything to what might solve this problem outside to contact the ASP in your country and ask for help.

  I agree with Daniel. There is a technical problem and the only thing you can do is to try to clean the contacts. If there is no success, you need to replace the keyboard. This unit is older and I am sure you can find a used keyboard at low prices.

  I'm ready to take my clip 4 GB at best buy - I am a few days on the return policy.  Or check myself in an asylum. This is beyond frustrating.  I used the playlist creator 3.5 and mp3 tag to create playlists with clip in msc mode.  All the mp3s and playlists are in the music folder.  This is what happens:

  3 selections show as empty.  I can put the mp3s in the existing playlist with other mp3s and they will show. So the mp3s themselves aren't a problem. They will not work in their own playlist.  HOWEVER, if I create playlists of replacement with exactly the same mp3s the following weird things occur:

  For a set of mp3s, the orignial playlist works but only as long as the alternate playlist, which now displays under vacuum, is left on the clip.

  For the two series of mp3s, the playlists of alternative works, but only as long as the original playlists, which still show as emptly, are left on the clip.

  If I delete all remaining empty playlists, playlists also show empty makes me to square.

  All the other playlists created with the same programs work very well.  It makes no sense, so I think that the memory is damaged or defective.  I've updated the firmware, put in shape, several times by using all the methods in the forum.  I think that sansa trying to push me over the edge with this wicked game!

  Should I try again with another element?

  It seems that the bizarre behavior of mp3 I lived is fixed in the latest fw-thanks SanDisk!

  Thus, the system restore did not remove these folders or files - I'm surprised (unless you did not notice them when they happened and therefore does not far enough).

  Are these folders numbered in the root directory of the drive or another folder (if also, which is the full path to the file)?  Right-click on the folder and click Properties and tell me the date of creation - it is new and after the restore point use you?  So, before the restoration (and reasonable) point, try an another system restore to before this date to see if it works.

  If the system restore does not work, then I suggest the following:

  See if you can download/run the MSRT tool manually:.http://www.microsoft.com/security/malwareremove/default.mspx

  Download, install and run Malwarebytes:http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php

  If none of them pick up anything (especially everything about these folders and files), and then create a system restore point and backup the registry.  So go ahead and rename the files to the same name with the addition of - old at the end and restart.  Are they passes (except for the renamed old files - I mean have they recreate themselves)?  Did you get any error messages?  Everything works (particularly your security software)?  If so, then the problem is almost solved.  Now you can go and remove entries from renowned and restart.  If you have any concerns at all (including messages) or whatever doesn't work or cannot you start can't get online or have problems either, then first try to rename the files back to what they were and restart.  This should fix the problem.  If you had reached the stage of deletion, try to restore from the recycling bins (you may need to do this on both drives if you have separate tubs) and reboot to see if things return to normal.  If this does not work, do a system restore to the point before you deleted items and that should put you back where you were, and you'll just have to live with the records since their removal causes problems.  Make sure that you have a startup disk to restore the system, if it becomes necessary. You can make a bootable recovery disk using http://neosmart.net/blog/2008/windows-vista-recovery-disc-download/ with the burning software like: http://www.snapfiles.com/get/active-isoburner.html and, of course, a blank CD.

  Hi Christophe,

  What browser do you use? I would recommend Chrome or Firefox. If you are already using one of those, I would recommend to empty your cache and restart the browser. Finally, try to open the portal in an ingognito tab. If the problem persists after trying these fixes, please update this post with a screenshot or two examples you provided.

• Seriously the behavior strange opening file HAVE CS5 Mac

  I don't really know how to find solutions to this problem, but today when I opened a file existing art Illustrator immediately took a part of the project and gave him a white fill with black outline... I thought that I had pushed a button and accidentally caused cela, but when I hit undo, nothing happened. When I looked in the Edit menu, the selection of the cancellation was not available. Close the document without saving changes, leave IT and I has reopened the case. Same thing happened. Then I restarted the computer. Same thing. Opening a different file does not do. Check out the screenshots for before (screenshot of an overview of the Finder) and after (once the file is opened in Illustrator). When the file is opened, for a brief moment, all right and then something happens, and the document is converted. If I try to close the document, I request if I want to save the file (which I did not). Anyone can shed light on this strange behavior and how to fix it?

• Query Sub behavior strange when using Expressions regular Oracle

  I met a strange "inconsistent" when you use an Expression regular Oracle with subqueries in SQL. Here are some details on how to reproduce what I have observed. We managed to find a solution to this "problem" using a database index; I'm writing this case hoping to better understand why Regular Expressions Oracle do not seem to work in the same way that the older, standard functions integrated as INSTR, SUBSTR, AS, etc..
  
  Environment settings:
  This test has been done using Oracle XE (GR 11, 2) on 32-bit Windows operating system. For my test, I used the HR schema (which is delivered pre-completed with the installation of this product) with some modifications of my own.
  
  Make the Test objects:

  Our Solution...
  Add a hint to the query of sup that 'hiding' the result of sub1 in memory. That did the trick. This suspicion resembles only viable workaround for this behavior. Other old built-in functions (INSTR, AS, etc.) an they were automatically following the execution plan (results of cache memory) that he had to use a 'hint' to force with the function of the regular expression.
  
  The conclusion, which is what I would like to help to understand or explain is that:
  If you create a series of queries/sup queries or inline views, values depend on "regular expression" type built-in sql functions do not seem to stick or maintain when implemented in complex query logic.

  This is the expected behavior and has nothing to do with regular expressions - much less directly (I'll explain later). Main rule: there is no WHERE clause predicate order. Even if you use views, views online, subquery factoring, optimizer etc. can extend your display, display online, a subquery factoring. And it's Optimizer who decides the order of execution predicate unless you use the ORDERED_PREDICATES key. Now, I can explain. Regular expressions are powerful enough but also everywhere in life to pay for it with the higher cost of execution.   The bottom LINE: With the help of strings to store non-chaine (numeric in your case) is never a good idea and shows design problems.

• Behavior strange iMac

  My iMac is only around the age of five months. (iMac 5K, 27 inches, end of 2014) In the first month, he began acting strangely.

  Happening every other day, then every day, now, maybe two or three times a day.

  This keyboard exact problem happened to me 3 or 4 times over the last two months, with the extra trouble losing volume control (it will either mute or maximum). Restart usually solved it but not this last time (yesterday and today). He seems to have stopped in itself allows me to type this. You wonder if it's a question of bluetooth.

  I got this imac for well over a year, the problem does not appear until I "upgraded" to El Capitan. Hmmm.

  Hey. My Lenovo Y-50 is a little older than a year, and all of a sudden the keyboard started acting strangely. On the windows login screen, everything is normal, but then the keyboard does not work. When I turn on the keyboard on the screen it starts to work immediately. Any ideas what the problem may be?

  Hey, I tried everything and nothing seemed to work. But then I turned off FilterKeys, allowed him once again and tweaked the settings a little bit and now everything worked for a few days. I don't know what it was, but the problem seems to have been in the settings for FilterKeys.
