Belkin adapter wireless dual-band 600n

So, I recently bought a belkin dual-band adapter and I am trying to connect to the internet and it says unidentified network, no internet connection.

I plugged my old 300n and it works perfectly fine even I tried to plug into together to see if it works fix the other and it just does not connect. You is someone who knows how to solve this problem.

Hello Slayer,

Thank you for reaching out to us to the Microsoft Community Forum.

Normally, any wireless router must have a parameter for which you must go to the configuration menu by going to the web page (for example http://192.168.0.1) via a web browser.  Here, there should be settings for various things, including wireless.  Ensure that the wireless is turned on.

Who is standing on IT, disable any kind of security as a first step, to make sure that you can at least get wireless to work.  If so, you can connect with your laptop Windows 7, then you should be well set up the wireless with a kind of security (i.e. WEP/WPA) so that when you connect again with the Windows 7 laptop, you need to put a password (only once).

I also recommend that you download and install the latest drivers for the USB of N600 DB Wireless Dual-Band adapter.

For more information about how to download and install the latest drivers from the manufacturer's Web site, please see the articles below.

History: I just bought a laptop / Tablet Dell Inspiron 7347 (exchanged for another unit, see below).   Problems to maintain a strong connection and when connected, it is very slow.   When it is connected to the wireless router, it maintains a (slow) connection for 3-5 minutes and then craps out (restrict the connection with the yellow "!" on the WiFi in the taskbar).  He then returned to the top of 1 3 minutes later.  It's a coherent continuous cycle.  I tried to reset the default router with no luck.

All the other devices on this router (office, phone, IPad) all hold the connection without problem at the same time, this device is not.

Notable: Before I bought this tablet/laptop I bought an Acer Aspire tablet / laptop which had exactly the same problem on my network.  I returned the unit for other reasons (quality of construction etc.), but he had the same OS (Win 8.1).  I don't know if she had the same network adapter.

What I tried to try: tried to update the drivers for the Intel card using the Intel drivers update (adapter drivers for Win 8.1 and Intel PROset wireless), but he kept time during download because... THE NETWORK IS NOT STABLE! (ugh!)

    I'm puzzled.   Makes me CRAZY!

FIXED!   Check it out guys.   I'm bothering with deactivation of all the resources of the card network, add-ins etc in the hope of this narrowing... including Bluetooth.   I have a Microsoft Bluetooth mouse for the comfort sculpt ([View:www.microsoft.com/.../sculpt-comfort-mouse:550:0])

I turned off and BOOM... everything was fine.   Also, I noticed when it was powered up, the speedtest would plunge drastically when I actually moved the mouse during the test.   See below for the result of the test with the mouse.   I can't post a with the mouse on because the test wouldn't even with it on.

Hmmmm... so it turns out that it could be a problem with a product from Ms... go figure.

  • Slow speeds of WIRED with N750 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit Router

This question is about speed WIRED versus wireless speeds.

This router is used in a situation of Home Office. This office at home connection cable Internet is 500 MB. When one of our computers connects directly to the cable modem we always get 500 MB download speeds. Yet when we connect to this router, these speeds fall into two (on average).

Often, indeed, speeds will drop equal to or less than 100 MB. Yet whenever we unplug the router and plug directly into the cable modem we return up to 500 MB.

    Suggestions?

Unfortunately, the LAN ports cannot be fixed by firmware.

Therefore, it is time to get a new router.

  • TouchSmart 520-1070UK: if I can replace the 802.11n wireless card in my 1070UK 520 for a dual band

I've been updated by my cable company to a router to speed broadband to 200 'up to '. My old iPad connects to new 5G

band but the HP Touchsmart is the single band 802.11n equipped Ralink card.

Can I physically replace or add anything to connect to 5G?

    Hi there @tiggerchris

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! It's a good place to find the help you need, other users, the HP experts and other members of the support staff. I understand that you are looking for help on how to replace your existing wireless network adapter or add something to support the 5 GHz band. I'm happy to help you with this.

Service and maintenance guides available and put at level of guides for this system offer no wireless adapters. The simplest solution I can suggest would be an adapter USB dual band WLAN.  There are many benefits to this choice. It is easier to install, it's easy to transfer to another device if necessary, and they can be very economical.

I'd say a bit of research online for this type of device, to see what is available.

    I hope this helps.

  • What happened to 5 GHz networks - Linksys WMP600N dual band PCI Wireless

I have one Linksys WMP600N dual band PCI Wireless internet.

Before my upgrade to Windows 8, it worked perfectly under Windows 7. Now, after the installation of Windows 8, 5 GHz network is no longer visible.

There was a Windows Update for drivers after installing Windows 8, but that does not solve the problem. There is also no later published driver on the Web of the Linksys or Ralink Tech sites.

I also tried to connect the SSID as if it were hidden, but that no longer works.

I ran through all the normal troubleshooting steps (reboots, slowdown, etc.) and I tried to adjust the various parameters of the router as well (channel and mode).

And I'm not the only one who has the problem, and it seems that it cannot just be this adapter wireless but also many other manufacturers.

    http://answers.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Forum/windows_cp-networking/cant-find-5GHz-on-Linksys-WMP600N/97b2ad73-d22d-420B-9973-f283c19360c8

I started down this path, but he told me that my drivers are up to date.

However, I was able to restore the slightly modified functionality with these instructions:

Step 1: Go to the adapter settings and work your way to the tab that says update driver

Step 2: Choose the Option browse my computer for the location of the driver

Step 3: Select "have disk Option.

Step 4: Select "Let me pick from a list of drivers for devices on my computer."

Step 5: Choose "Linksys WMP600N-Wireless-N PCI Adapter with Dual-Band (Microsoft).

    Step 6: Click Next

The problem seems to be with the Ralink Tech driver. I installed via Windows Update after loading Windows 8, and that seems to be the problem.

    Hello:

You are right about the white list of BIOS locking all the cards not supported wireless.

Here is the link to the service manual for your PC.

Chapter 3, page 17 lists the cards supported wireless.  None are dual band.

  • E530 replace Wireless Adapter that supports Dual Band?

I bought my E530 of the local computer store and it came with the wireless adapter "Intel Centrino Wireless-N 2230 (2 x 2 BGN & BT4)" which does not support the Dual Band wireless. I am now looking to replace it with an adapter which favour the a/b/g/n wireless, but I'll have to find the correct model/part number wrong. I tried to look for her service parts guide but I have not found anything. I also tried to search for it using the "ThinkPad a/b/g/n Wireless BT Combo (2 x 2 ABGN & BT4.0)" card name (mentioned in the customization options) with no result.

So does anyone know the name appropriate wireless adapter and the part number for the Board that supports Dual Band on E530 supported? Also, I would be grateful if someone could reference where I could buy it.

    Thank you.

Interface PCI-E of all cards are using any chipset you have. 60Y3253 is the half size PCI-E and has no integrated bluetooth so you lose this feature, but if not, it should work perfectly. You can also call Lenovo support and ask the FRU for the 2 x 2 for the E530 cards although I doubt you'll find a some of them to sell now that the model is fairly new and not as popular as the T and X series.
