  Totally forgotten about this thread.

  Solved the problem. It had nothing to do with the laptop, but a defective power adapter of the ISP modem. Had replaced the power adapter, now everything works fine.

  I have a wired connection to my laptop and you have a problem a week that my internet is slow. So I called my ISP and told them on this subject. I tried to check internet speed using Speedtest and 0.17 to 0.20 Mbps operation. So I removed again and again on the PC. When I checked the speed of connection on the PC, it gives me more than 3 Mbps.

• Boot from USB on S400

  I'm trying to hard Ubuntu USB boot in a new S400 with Windows 8. I have already disabled the secure mode and activated the USB boot. However when I try to choose USB as a boot in the BIOS menu option, it just doesn't show up. I tried to turn on the laptop and pressing F12, but it shows no more.

  I tried with bootable both FAT16 and FAT32 partitions in the USB (one at a time). I'm getting the blue USB port since some of the Ideapads only boot to the USB 2.0 port (I'm guessing it's blue, I tried the other just in case where). I'm running out of ideas for the Ideapad

  Usually the blue ports are USB 3.

  Have you tried enabling boot inherited, or disabling boot UEFI?
