  You can exclude files/folders in Time Machine preferences.

  However, I do not understand what you want to do in the future. If you only have photos in one place, you do not have a backup.

  Independent of how this feature works, you want to have your photos in one place and have a backup (second copy) somewhere else. All hard drives will not be successful at some point - some more early, some late - never trust to have your files in any safety devices if they are on a single disc. Once you have your sorted, it would be useful that you will organize/name/tag new photos immediately if the task is relatively short and simple. I copy my photos on my internal hard drive for my camera, take a quick look with preview to see who needs some changes and then decide where to put them - either drop them immediately after naming them or bring in an editing application and then file them away.

  Which uses less ink, best quick scratch paper or photo paper.  I don't mean quality, a little less of ink used.  I also used photo paper, then selected the fast project of plain paper.  Not great quality, as expected, but always looking to use less ink.  My guess is that the paper uses more because it is more porous. My printer is a hp Deskjet 2050.  My OS is 64-bit Intel Core I-7-2670 QM.

  Plain paper settings use less ink, inkjet paper selection will use more and photo paper will use the most.  Draft mode uses generally about half Normal or best mode ink.  Normal and best modes use about the same amount of ink (although best mode takes more time to print and passes).

  There are a few other considerations to minimize consumption of ink:

  • Don't run don't not cleaning cycles from the Toolbox unless needed (rarely).  Beyond the normal start and stop of ink cleaning cycles use cycles and shortens the life of supply and the printer.
  • Always keep the printer plugged in to an outlet.  Using an external symbol tilt like a switch taken or master switch will cause the printer to use more ink at startup.  It can also leave the printheads to be left not clipped, allowing them to dry out.

  I've recently upgraded to LR6.4, in the library, to the Magnifier module, I can't move between photos using the mouse scroll wheel. When I point the cursor on the picture, I get a "magnifying glass". The only way I can move between photos is to click on the film. I was able to use the mouse scroll wheel to move between pictures before. Help, please.

  It doesn't matter whether or not this option is displayed. Just open the preferences and restart LR should dissipate it.

  What is the I best method for export/transfer my iPhoto on MBP to the iPhoto library library on my iMac? I prefer to keep my metadata intact; I guess that to do a package contents 'show' of my iPhoto and AirDropping the 'masters' library, I won't lose it? I'm under El Capitan 10.11.4 on Mac.

  I just want to explain my situation because maybe I'm missing something. I have SUMMER will use the photo library iCloud for synchronization on all my Apple devices and as a backup off-site. Fortunately, I realized soon as enough it would become a management NIGHTMARE. I downloaded everything from iCloud to my MBP and want to get it all on my iMac, so I can clean up the mess of duplicates and others.

  Simply connect the two Macs together and drag the library in the pictures of the new mac folder - or use an external hard drive to the Mac OS extended (journaled) format and drag through - then launch iPhoto on the new system

  What is the origin of these files - they are pictures that you have transferred to the computer from the camera or they are files that you have created by changing a few other photos in programs like Lexmark Imaging Studio or Windows Movie Maker?

  Search for files of type they'RE, I came across certain types of files that are related to the license of logging in a Windows service, which is not related to pictures of all ways. So, I think by looking at the information on your computer, these files have been created using an application. These files may have been renamed with this extensions added at the end of the name of the original file as well. We will check which called the complete folder for these files:

  1. first, open the folder where these files are saved
  2. then click on the Tools option in the menu on the top bar, and then click Folder Options. (If you don't see not the menu bar with the option tools, press Alt on the keyboard to see)
  3. now click on the view tab, and then uncheck Hide extensions of known file types .
  4. Finally, click apply and then OK.

  Now, highlight one of these files and let us know the name of full file with the extension of a file of this type.

  Added to that, you can also consult the issue with Lexmark support upward once and see if their program uses this type of file in any means. Here is their support site:

I have problems with the audio video synchronization when using Windows Movie Maker, version 6.0, I 'get' raw AVCHD files to .wmv using voltaic HD.  I've noticed that the audio and video are out of sync, ONLY after the first thumbnail.  No indirect problem with videos, but when people talk to the camera, in case of DISASTER, as he is out of sync.   What is the best way to share your photos?

  When I consult with PSE 14 mode full screen, I see the full picture with captions.

  However:

  • Legends are not available in mode see the hand PDF Slide.

    • Howevever the full picture is not available. Most of the "themes" seem to cut the top and the bottom of certain images
    • And the themes seem to hijack images, rather than simply presenting the photos.

  We have all different ideas on sharing via "email address" and often features elements are not satisfactory for our purpose. You have perfectly described two features of pdf, share via the output to a pdf slide show (or video) or pdf.

  Both are quick and easy, but there is no direct way to display captions with images full resolution and without transition effects.

  You can use the function 'Print' with 'other options' Organizer configured to display captions, date... and specify one of many virtual printer drivers send the result to PDF instead of printing (standard in Windows 10). A quick and automated to produce a PDF without transitions and captions.

  Or you can use a free, good software like Faststone resizer to prepare your output with more control over the size and position of the legend.

  I have another problem: my use of the legends is such that I'm not all the legends that are shown, and I don't want each picture to have a caption (or title or date...) In fact, the text I want to appear on the pdf presentation would be specific to each image, with a different position depending on the image. It can be done with some work, and the result is much better.

  When I want to share (I like Dropbox, but other storage cloud solutions are good), I choose my output size: (rare), HD TV screen full resolution or smaller. The Organizer, I do a resize a selection based on the height in pixels, then another resize a canvas based on the width, in pixels, with a black background. Can I edit the files individually to add text (not necessarily the legends) where I want to. It's the only job that requires little time, but the result is much better than including legends, both for the appearance of the text and the coherence of the story.

  Make sure that Photoshop is closed.

  1 - go to this place C:\Users\user name\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe 2015\AutoRecover CC in Photoshop

  You will be able to see all the. PSD file that opens automatically when Photoshop is open, delete or move all the files in this folder.

  2 - restart Photoshop and go to edit > preferences > performance UN check the gpu processor use and restart Photoshop.

I used Lightroom 5 since it launched and do not have this problem until a month ago (select: "do not import possible double images" is turned OFF!). I really have to control my import in the opposite case, it miss a few images, but don't know what to do when the picture is not selected. How can I import the correctly without making stuff and that's why spoil my archive carefully planned? My archive is too packed and I have double numbers ore something? What I need Lightroom 6?

  "Photos are indeed grey, but the imported photos are new assignments, so this:" ","then it means that you have previously imported photos in Lightroom, and so it is not necessary to import them again ', is not the case.

  While you are probably right, if the photos were just captured, the problem is that Lightroom think that these are the same pictures that were previously imported, and so until you can determine why Lightroom think that you won't progress.

  You need search for any of these photos in your Lightroom Catalog. Follow these 4 steps in order

  1. In the catalog Panel on the left side of the library Module, click all photographs
  2. Develop all batteries (picture-> stacking-> develop all batteries)
  3. Disable all filters (once or twice Ctrl-L)
  4. Search for one of these photos by file name

  Hi, I am looking to know how to cut an image using a geometric grid and rearrange the pieces.

  
  

  Today I learned to make my own grid in Illustrator, using a tutorial that I found, but I don't know if it is possible to do the same thing in photoshop, other than the horizontal/vertical lines?

  I also need to learn how to use a grid to cut an image along all lines, once I did, so that I could rearrange some of them and maybe move some of them irrelevant too.  Y at - it a command to do this, so that each part with some there is a clean diaper?

  Or better yet (as I probably only want to slice small sections of the image) a way to get the tool cuts follow the lines of the grid so that I can cut small sections exactly in the sense (I know you can do it with a horizontal/vertical grid, but don't know exactly how even do!)?

  Once it's done I want to hide the grid, so all that remains is the rearranged image?
  

  
  

  The first, second and third photos attached are the kind of grids, I want to do (I know now how to do that in Illustrator, but neither PS), to use as a template to cut to the top of the image, the third and fourth images are as close I can find the results I want, with the rearranged faces (I think that these were made by hand in these examples).

  I refer to a previous post:

  Have you tried that?

  If a double-click on the layer of path does not work for you, what version of PS do you use?

  Everything I do is select and copy the grid to HAVE, paste it into PS and paths, select traced palette, double click on the network layer, rename the layer and remove the mask vector original. After that, everything works as I described earlier.

  Here is a screenshot of the paths palette PS CC. A key, select a path segment by clicking in the middle of an area or a triangle, then turn the path into a selection.
