  You cannot use a product ID to activate Windows 7, you need a "product key".

  If it is a retail license, you have purchased and installed yourself, you can retrieve the product key and activate it:

It's just hard to say which is best. I really put my laptop to his test for everything. I have about 3ooo images, so I do a lot with photography, play the games, many commuunications & helping with my husband's company. It is therefore a very wide varitey of uses.

  You don't need the final version to accomplish the tasks listed. Family Premium would do the job very well and you would save $$$.

  What you get, do NOT buy on auctions, Amazon or classifieds sites.

  Back, save, copy all your important stuff on a disk external hard and then start again with your newly acquired operating system...

  Unless it is a volume license, cat help should be able to reset your activation. If you contact Adobe technical support via chat and ask to reset your activations, then you can go back to have two available if you think you would like the opportunity to install again a backup facility.

  A single user license allows you to have the software installed and enabled on both machines, so unless you have already activated with two machines, you still have available activation.  So without taking any other action, you should be able to install and activate on the new computer.
