BIOS hang on Pavilion p6210f

I installed v M2N78 - THE motherboard BIOS update 5.20 and when I go in the bios and try to open the USB, my computer freezes. How to solve this problem? You will have a new bios on a fix?

Thanks for the suggestions. I tried both and not go. These jumpers are difficult to obtain. I decided to unplug my USB hd and it worked. Whimsical usb ports on this system. I noticed a large number of usb devices need their own power or that they do not work. Must be because of the power of cheese 350 watts. But most of the time it's an OK system.

  • Satellite A105-S1014 - BIOS hangs during loading

    Hi all

I'm working on an A105-S1014. the problem is that when trying to boot the system, the bios starts to load, but it freezes. There is a bar of progression at the bottom of the screen and it stops just about 2/3 of the way. This is a laptop that has been abandoned so that on. Initially, he was stuck in a reboot loop. One of the memory modules was knocked loose so I reinstalled them both. Now im stuck and cannot get the bios to complete loading. Ive opened the laptop and checked all the connections and wires to make sure that nothing else is loose or disconnected. I tried to exchange the memory one at a time and can not think of anything that would stop the bios to load a configuration jacked up. I can't reset the cmos because the battery is soldered in place and there are no jumpers that I see.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance :)

    Hi Theeone,

Usually if the BIOS hangs while loading procedure, there seems to be a serious hardware problem but I don t know what part is assigned exactly

In your case I would try this first:
Remove the battery and the AC adapter, now wait at least an hour. Reconnect the battery and the AC adapter / CC and try to start the laptop.
    It work?

If this isn't the case, you need professional help of an authorized service I think. Guys should check what part is affected and needs to be replaced. ;)

  • Pavilion g6-1d21dx: what is the latest BIOS for my Pavilion G6?

Details, please! I was told on this forum that I had to upgrade the BIOS for my Pavilion g6-1d21dx to a F.48 version, which seems to be the last being available on the product page. However, the BIOS currently on my machine is version F.49. F.49 would be not newer than a F.48? Can someone explain the discrepancy and tell me if there are significant differences between the two versions of the BIOS?

I ended up installing the BIOS revision F.46, because this revision restores the ability of the computer to enter and exit the sleep and hibernation modes, which was broken in a future revision of the BIOS (which has been a HUGE source of frustration). In the absence of other information on the revisions of the BIOS, I recommend that users go with revision F.46. The 32-bit version of Windows 10 works beautifully with F.46 on my g6-1d21dx Pavilion.

Hello, I'm looking to upgrade the stock PSU 300W in my HP Pavilion p6210f at least a 500W unit to take full advantage of an ATI Radeon x 1950 Pro, I have and possibly upgrade the video card at some point if necessary. I have read posts here and also looking for advice and at least understand that I need a PSU that adapts in the mother microATX case I. A few posts had links to available through newegg power supplies, but they all seem to be out of stock, probably because of my late desire to upgrade. Any recommendations would be much appreciated...

Official website of HP I can't find versions of Bios for Pavilion DV5000.

Are there more recent official HP BIOS versions for this laptop?

Yes, that's right, and you can update the BIOS if you use XP.

As long as you Flash the BIOS with the XP operating system, you should be OK, but I can't guarantee it 100%.

    I don't have dual-boot my PC.

  • How to access the BIOS on a Pavilion Elite e9237c with mouse and keyboard wireless?

I have a desktop computer Pavilion Elite e9237 with a wireless keyboard and mouse. I tried to access the BIOS by pressing F10 at startup with no luck, and I can't access any of the other menus for the start-up eiither. I don't have a PS/2 port on my computer, so I can't get a wired keyboard and mouse. Does anyone know how to access the BIOS with this configuration?

I bought a USB keyboard and he answered in the same way... No bios access. I then studied why it did not work and discovered that it was the way in which he has been connected to the computer. I had initially plugged into a USB hub when he was not working and I moved it directly into a USB port and it works! I plugged my keyboard wireless directly into the USB port and it works too! Thanks for your help... I wouldn't have thought of it if it wasn't for to recommend you the USB keyboard.

  • Update the BIOS in my Pavilion m9077c?

I want to update my Vista to W7 Pavilion m9077c.

In researching the available driver updates, I find that there is an update of the BIOS, supposedly for my computer, but it specifies that "you must have a motherboard IPIBL - LA."

How can I confirm that it is an update of the correct BIOS for my MB before continuing with the update to W7?

According to Belarc Advisor, my advice is an ASUSTek Computer INC, Berkeley 1.x.x with a BIOS American Megatrends, Inc. 5.08 08/16/2007

    Hello:

AFAIK, it was the only one available for your PC motherboard.

It is your product specifications page.
