  You use the free license - it allows not hot add hardware to a virtual computer, so you must re-enable it off before adding hardware to it.

  I have a laptop with a Windows 2003 virtual machine (VPC 2007) with IIS 6.0, hosting a Web site for testing and development.

  I had a work around for this problem.   I tried to get a similar but empty post came.  Here's the scenario.  There is an application on the device and an application on the desktop.  They communicate via USB which works very well for most.  I use:

  A small wifi Wireless USB on the XP machine should work just fine. You can OpenOffice.org printer to two computers wireless. I don't think that a machine can access the printer if you plan to use the USB connection or wireless. I have not tried yet, maybe next weekend.
