Printing problems can be caused by cables that are not properly connected, corrupt, drivers, incompatible drivers, the printer settings, missing updates and problems with your printer. To resolve this problem, use the following methods in the order in which they are presented. If method 1 does not resolve your problem, go to the next method.
Please follow the methods and check if it works very well.
Method 1

Clear printer spooler files and select the spooler service.
Step 1
a. Click Start, type "Services.msc" (without the quotation marks) in the Open box and click OK.
b. double click on "Printer Spooler" in the Services list.
c. click on stop, and then click OK.
d. Click Start, type "% WINDIR%\system32\spool\printers" in the opened window and delete all the files in this folder.Step 2

I have the printer inkjet Epson stylus C 45. When an ink cartridge Epson gets sold out and I replace this cartridge with an Epson cartridge refilled, the printer does not recognize this refill cartridge. As a result, no printing could be done. Is there a way to make the printer accepts the reloaded cartridges?

You receive messages or error codes?
It is a hardware problem. It seems that some printer settings must be modified to get the cartridge that is recognized by the printer.
You can get in touch with Epson support and are looking for the same thing.

This looks like a printhead clogged for me.
It's more of an Epson problem than a problem of Windows.

I have a new HP ENVEY 4500 all in one printer. How can I set the print in black ink only as the default?

The 4500 envy series printer can be configured to print in black ink only by default as follows: go devices and printers folder, right-click on Envy 4500, printing preferences, paper/quality, Advanced, print grayscale, black of ink only, OK.
Note that some color ink will always serve to keep the printhead butcher, see here for more information on using ink.

I need to check the levels of ink cartridges in my Epson Stylus SX215 "all-in-one" printer - how to achieve this please?
It would be an option with the package of printer driver (if it is available). Usually, it is either in the options of the printer, or if this is a network printer, online via its web interface. You will need to check with Epson to see if and when this option is.

Epson Stylus Photo 1280 (M) prints only 8-1/2 "wide vs 12.5" wide - Win 7
The printer driver Windows 7 ultimate 'Epson Stylus Photo 1280 (M') prints only 8-1/2 "wide vs 12.5" wide that the printer is capable of.
I put the default paper 12.5 "x 18", but it prints still only 8-1/2 "wide no matter what. It seems to be a driver problem. It works very well in the old machine with XP. Note, Epson no longer supports this printer, but there is a driver Win 7 from Microsoft.
Any suggestions?

Device drivers are provided by the manufacturer of the device. I suggest to contact support Epson printer and check the availability of drivers for Windows 7. However, you can try to install the Windows Vista drivers and check if it helps:
If the margins are incorrect:
(a) ensure that the paper settings are correct for your paper size. For instructions, see printing from Windows
(b) ensure that paper that you present is the size of paper and type parameters of selected paper in Epson Stylus CX5800F Control Panel or in your printer software.
(c) choose the correct margins for your paper size.
(d) use the print preview option in your printer software to check your margins before printing.
(e) make sure your paper is positioned next to the right of the manger.

Single cartridge need replace however, after replacing the cartridge, it displays an error saying to turn the printer off and then back on. When the printer returns to the top it either comes up with the same error or you request to replace a different cartridge and then ends with the original error start the cycle again.
All four cartridges have been replaced and all are 127 cartridges.

Cannot print from an Epson Stylus CX 7450 printer

I got a new Dell Inspiron for about 3 months and he hooked up to a printer Epson Stylus CX 7450. Setting up worked fine until a week or two ago, when the printer just stopped. Thinking he needed black ink, I changed the cartridge nothing. I've lived every diagnostic tool I can find on the Epson, Dell, Microsoft site and nothing seems to be able to fix it. The only comments that makes sense has been a tool indicating that the PC could not find the printer all of a sudden! But I don't know how do to fix this - the printer uses only one USB port, and I tried to switch ports, without success. Any ideas?
Most often when a device does not work, it is because the driver is damaged. Re-install a new copy should help -
