Black print L7590 performance

I'm curious to know if anyone else has experienced this problem. I printed the 124 pages and my black cartridge was released (the cartridge is standard HP88). What of the 850 pages give HP announced. Why is there such a huge difference?

I want to go back to my black laser printer... who was still a hp but...

Model name: HP Officejet Pro L7500 model number: CB821A serial number: Service ID:use of ink (ml or cc) Black: 29.461 Cyan: 2.627 Magenta: 2,592 yellow: 3.002 media size A4/Letter: 124 envelopes: 0 other: 0 media Plain: 124 Photo: 0 other: 0

NEB1, have you tried to change the setting of the Volume of ink on the advanced properties wndow Printer Options tab? I had to drop mine a bit to stop some burrs on the postage labels and was very surprised to find that I could not only give up one or two levels and keep a strong page, but could lower the level of use until the setting lower and still print jobs of high quality. As we have done on our L7590, I would say that they are using probably 1/3 the ink they were originally. Now if we could just get them to stop to pick up more than 1 sheet of paper at a time... (Has nothing to do with the volume of ink; they have always had this problem)

Problems with black project and print in normal mode for L7590 model CB821A.   After the printer has been turned off for about a month and then switched back, began to have horizontal bands across the exit who did not text/image, which should have been printed in black when printing in draft or Normal print quality.  Black okay impression is better quality.  "Logically the black output appears as if printed in approximately 7/8" wide sections/blocks on the page where the last 1/16 "(bottom) of each section is missing a release which should have been printed in black.  See assessment below one hatched filled printed image print black lines - i.e. the white strips between the blocks are portions of output that was not printed (but should be).  The problem occurs for the black out in draft or normal quality: the entire image without lack of bands is printed if black best quality mode is selected the problem appears only for ink black/output.  Output color (all three color cartridges) doesn't include any missing tapes for any mode of output quality (draft, normal or best).  Except where the output on the page aligns with the missing 1/16 "areas/bands, a diagnostic page is OK, print quality running print head alignment, calibration of jump line and cleaning of the printheads (several times) has no effect (fix) the printing problem.  Also to install a new Black XL cartridge does not change/fix anything.  Any idea on what to do to solve the problem?  Oh and also when making black copies of the production of documents in the printed copy of the document is lack as the black print in bands through the page at least that the best quality copy is selected.

    Hi Sunshyn2005,

Thanks for the reply.  I had already seen and tried things in the link streaks of ink, fixing faded prints and other common print quality problems without any noticeable change in the sysmptoms of the problem.  Not knowing the logic of printing in detail the process, I was hesitant to assume that the problem was due to a print head (related as good) without knowing with certainty that if she could be the cause of the problem.  I had also seen the link following re manually cleaning/replacement of the print heads, etc. to:

    ""http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01446637 " "

Given no other definitive solutions, I pulled the Black/Yellow Printhead, cleaned the mechanical contacts (even if they appear dirty) and reinstalled print head.  After that hard restart of the process, the printing problem looked pretty much the same, but I used the printer console to clean the print head, align the print head and calibrated the line break.  Note that focus 3 on the print quality Diagnostics printout showed areas in white/white near the arrows, but unprinted areas also appeared on each 7/8 "in the set/bottom of the full page and calibrations of previous line break had not changed was not clear if the blank spaces seen were really due to power problems line.

In any case, I noticed in successive test prints, that no printed space has changed a little bit stable after things after replacing the print head and of cleaning and calibrate things.   After still print tests (change in volume of ink, paint, modes of quality, margins, etc) portions of unprinted line (~7/8' down the entire page) began to shrink.  After having used the services of printer to do about cleaning printhead plus 4-5, 3-4 alignments print head, line 11 or if several calibrations break line and a lot of printing of tests between the two, non-printed portions have been reduced in height for only the width of a couple very ink drops (project or normal mode; no unprinted areas in don't best way).

Thus even if the problem persists, it has been barely perceptible.  At this point, I'll just keep feeling and see if things eventually clear up all the way.  Maybe I'll try an inexpensive refurbished printhead later if things do not completely delete (to prove it fixed / improves things before buying a new expensive).  Note that at this point sight 3 to print the print quality Diagnostics always shows a notable, but very light gap point arrows (with a magnifying glass you can see it is not completely empty, but contains scattered points of ink and the gap is only a point or two high).

So... maybe the printing problem is actually "fixed" - at least it is enough now usable for the print project routine / normal for most cases.

    Hello

I have a problem with my 8500 has.

When I run the alignment, then it has sometimes failed. The black printing ink dosnt too proberly. I tried to run clean print head and tried to run the alignment many times.

If I don't use the printer for a while, so I can print 1-2 pages in black once again, and then the black ink stop working again.

I checked the cables of the ink and tried other solutions to the support page, but nothing seems to work.

Would it work if I replace the print head, or know someone at - it a fix for this?

    Best regards, Anders

Hi @AndersGK and welcome to the Forums of HP!

I see that you have print head problems.  I would try to help!

It seems you have a lot of troubleshooting already covered.  It is possible, that you can start to encounter a failure of the print head.

I recommend to remove the ink cartridges and performing a power reset the printer.  Unplug the power cord from the printer and the power outlet, then wait 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, plug back in the printer. Make sure that you connect the printer directly to a wall outlet. Make sure to bypass any surge protector or power bar.

I would also recommend using the steps described in this document on the problems of quality Print for the HP Officejet Pro 8500 has e-all-in-one printer series.

Good luck and please let me know the results of your troubleshooting operations. Thanks for posting on the HP Forums!

  • Office Jet 6500: Black printing

I have a Dell, IBM Lnovo, Toshiba NetBook & a new HP Probook all w / Windows 7.  I was using a HP OfficeJet 6500 E709n. With the exception of the new HP ProBook print very well all the new HP Probook only print in color. It will not print black.  I have used HP cartridges exclusively, cleaned heads w / software & wiped the cartridge & head clean, restarted the printer, laptop & the router several times, deleted & reloaded the original s/w & downloaded the latest s/w on the site of HP 3 times. S/w driver is still not loading properly.  I can print from the new laptop in color but cannot print in black.  Our son-in-law sets up computers for JD Edwards & is a senior network enginer.  He'snever heard talk about him. I took it to a retailer of technology where I bought it.  None of their technicians had never heard of him & could offer no solution.

    What should I do next?

Hi @LT2 and welcome to the Forums of HP!

I see that you are having problems of black print output.  I would try to help!

I would say uninstalling the software of the printer.

Once it is uninstalled, I suggest you put your system in clean boot mode in the configuration of Microsoft.  You can do this by following this document: How to perform a clean boot in Windows.

Once the computer is in clean boot mode, I would suggest to reinstall the HP printer install wizard for Windows.

Good luck and please let me know the results of your troubleshooting operations. Thanks for posting on the HP Forums!

  • HP envy 5532 - poor black printing - trailed missing lines showing

    Hello

I just bought the hp envy 5532 and found poor print quality.

While color printing seems to be okish, black is very poor.

I tried all the tools available via the control panel of the printer, but there are always problems with black printing.

It's almost as if the black is missing from the lines and. For example on test prints that print a block in black, some of the block is low or striated.

Runs all tests in diagnosis is also eating away at the ink and not started using the printer to its destination.

Please help, I really do not want to return the printer, but will do if this is not resolved.

    Thank you

  • Black Print skip lines at random

When I print a document, a few lines in the whole of the page (at random), the top characters are not inking.  Another words, I demi-caracteres (only the bottom half) across the entire line.  I have on OfficeJet Pro L7580 and I replace the cartridge with a 88 HP.  I also cleaned the printheads several times and also to align the printheads several times.  Sometimes, I received a message "Unable to align" when I run this task.  All other colors are working properly.  It's only the black print on the page. Please notify.  I do not often use this printer, but I need to work properly.  Thank you!

All the previous suggestions don't have for my Deskjet 1050 j410 printer. What does not work, for some stupid reason, is unplug the printer, then hold down the Cancel button and the color button while plugging the printer into (This restores the default printer). With each restoration test page jumped lines less until the 6th or 7th reset when it was finally clear.

A strange but effective solution however. I hope this helps.

  • HP 4650: HP 4650 black print cartridge (63 HP) will not be printed

In February 2016, I bought a new HP 4650 printer for a seasonal vacation home and it worked perfectly during the 3 months we were there. We returned home in July 2016 of holiday and the 63 HP black cartridge would not work and a new one has been purchased and installed. We have used the printer in just 2 weeks and not very well. Now in October 2016, we go home and again once the printer will not print black cartridge HP 63 is shown as almost empty of ink, which, after only 2 weeks of light, use in July.

Why don't the 63 HP black print now even if it shows is not empty no ink? And why the cartridge last a very short time, two weeks of very clear use in this case?

What is happening is that the ink print heads are drying up a lack of use.

  • Photosmart HP 6510: Black print failed

I have a HP Photosmart 6510, which will not print black - pages of text, sound as if they are printing, but the page comes out blank. Watch as the color test page, but not black.  There is no error message.  Black print cartridge is full and I have applied all recommended maintenance procedures.  I'm going to disassemble the printer (which is out of warranty) and the print head to check the visible obstructions before deciding to give up completely and use my backup of Canon.  Can anyone suggest any other remedies or advice on removal of the print head?  Thank you.

Thanks for your suggestions.  I removed and cleaned the print head, but the problem remains unresolved.  I did more research and decided to go deeper into the printer to access tubes empty below the print head.  I couldn't find all the instructions more complex procedure on the HP site or elsewhere online, so most of the work was intuitive.  I managed to remove the 'well' below the print head complete with 4 vacuum tubes, and it was immediately obvious to me that the black ink tube was clogged.  I went to clean the whole by immersing in hot water and using a syringe to flush out the tubes.  I cleaned too much ink frozen since sponges of drain that receives the excess ink from the vacuum system (no doubt mostly print head last cleaning operations).  After drying of the parts and reassembling the printer, everything is back to the fully functional State.

I was amazed at the amount of vitriol expressed by users of the forum to HP for what seems to have been a recurring problem with these printers.  It seems incredibly useless to throw a sound mechanical printer because of a dried ink problem, but that's what many did the cost of 2-3 hours time technician to fix the problem simply cannot be justified. It is unfortunate that HP provides no instructions for technical people like me who are willing to undertake their own maintenance out of warranty HP products.

  • All-in-one Photosmart HP 3310: black printing in odd rows

    Hello

I have had this printer for almost 6 years and never had a problem with it until this last week. My impression started out as below:

As you can see, the colors are fine, but black seems to be coming out in lines. As the black cartridge was almost empty, I replaced it and received the same impression. I replaced that one (just in case the cartridge was defective) and received the same impression.

My printer is out of warranty; I tried to clean the print heads and align the printer several times over the last week and nothing has changed. In fact, every print I do has the same meaning (even thickness, same color, same type [dotted, lined, etc.], in the exact same places every time, which is interesting.

I tried the reset of the printer (pulling on the power cord for 15 to 30 seconds, and then reconnecting), alignment and clean the print heads in the printer menu, and then on the menu in my Mac, and I tried to get the number online (here and here), but came to nothing.

I'm currently located in the United States, in Arizona. I understand that it is an older printer, so I may end up having to replace, but I was hoping someone might have a suggestion.

    Thank you

    ~ Leslie

    Hey @TheLastDuchess,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I understand that you are having problems of black print quality when printing HP Photosmart 3310 all-in-one printer. I first want to thank you for all the details you provide me in your message. I see you've already replaced the black cartridge twice, cleaned and aligned the print head several times and reset the printer nothing helps. Unfortunately at this time, it sounds like you have a defective system of the print head. The printhead in the unit model is not replaceable part. It reads the cartridges and ink to go on the control document. If this part in case of failure to replace the entire unit would be necessary. According to all the steps that you have already tried, at the moment, you have exhausted the troubleshooting steps. I don't want you to run one more cleans away from your printhead system because it uses no ink in order to rinse the ink for cleaning system. The rule is generally, if cleans 2-3 make no difference, not to go forward with more clean as you will just waste ink.

At that time, I suggest that you contact our Technical Support by phone team to explore additional options.

    Good luck and happy holidays!

  • HP 4625:4625 doent black printing

After two weeks vacation may not print in black. Other colors are ok. I have replaced the black cartridge twice, got the conformation of the printer, but no sign black. I run clean several times. No black. My printer is a year old. I think I have no warranty (how to check this)? Any suggestion?

I bought a new black ink of the different store install and got a beautiful black print.

Thanks Rick for you advice. So, I guess the two new cartridges, I used were bad (ink or rigged dry). I think it is interesting to understand why my printer does not print black.

  • HP Officejet Pro 8600 black printing/copying has vertical lines on the page. The color is fine.

HP Officejet Pro 8600.  at 2 weeks.

    Windows XP

Color copies/prints are very good.  Black prints/copies have vertical lines widths, ranging from top to bottom.  This occurs when it is copied to form glass or through the feeder.

    Suggestions?

If the unit is producing lines in copies, so I suggest checking a few things. Make sure that the printer is plugged into a wall outlet directly and not in a surge protector. Additionally, make sure that the glass of the scanner (including the small strip on the left) are clean.

Also, see the steps in the document troubleshooting located here.

  • Not totally black print on P1102W

I need to print black images on transparent sheets to use with uv lighting a box to make printed circuit boards.

This photo is an example where the lower part of the image is not completely black. It does not matter in what place I print this image. High, Center, down, left, or right. The result for this image still has this bottom where there are greyish pieces.

When I rotate the image 180 degrees is also this same effect, but the other party now has this problem. My current solution is to print 2 copies on the same sheet transparant where an image is 180 degrees of rotation. Then arrange them on top of the other.

I used the utility of cleaning integrated P1102W several times on the leaves of transparant and normal paper.

    What can I do else?

    Thank you

    Gus Smith

    Hi @gussmith ,

I see that you are having problems with the black print is not properly on the page of full transparency. I want to help you solve this problem.

You have the same problem when printing on regular paper?

Trying to figure out if it's the toner or the fuser unit causing this problem.

Remove the toner and gently swing the toner back five times to redistribute the toner.

Make sure the paper type is selected in the printer driver.

I have a document with a few steps to try to see if this will solve the problem.

    Troubleshooting print quality problems.

    You use Genuine HP Toner?

What is the level of toner?

What operating system do you use? Mac OS X: how to find which Mac OS X Version is on my computer?

Do you have which driver installed? (Apple, HP website updates)

Please provide detailed results if you're still having problems.

    Have a great day!
    Thank you.
