Black screen problem.

Hello!

While I was watching a movie from Itunes on my iphone and took a screenshot. As I looked in my album, I ended up getting a black screen. There is a desire for this?

I guess this is supposed to work this way because you don't own the rights to the film.

  • Fixed with Windows 7 black screen problem?

My HP Pavilion dv2000 is having the dreaded black screen problem.  I figured out how do boot mode safe and backed up all my files.  Now, I'm ready for this ongoing problem (hopefully).  My other laptop HP running Windows 7 never had the problem of black screen.  So, upgrade to W7 will fix this problem?

You should not pass the operation when it does not work properly. You can make a difficult to solve the problem, unable to be resolved.

Have you tried last known good configuration or safe mode?

  • Strange black screen problem Inspiron 1526

    Dell Inspiron 1526 - Windows Vista Home Premium (32 bit) - Service Pack 2 (problem started all with SP1) - AMD Turion (TM) 64 X 2 Mobile Technology TL-60 2.00 GHz - ATI Radeon X 1200 Series

This is probably the strangest problem that I've never seen or heard of.  I've owned this phone for about a year and a half without any problem, then one day, I decided to put my computer into sleep mode by closing the lid (I've done several times before without problem.).  When I lifted the lid, the computer woke up, but the screen refused to show.  Thinking it was an easily solvable problem, I restarted the computer.  The computer turned on, but the screen was black.  After having turned the computer works enough times (probably 20), finally displayed screen and the error message say 'RTC Mode Fixed.  Date and time can be wrong. "I couldn't help but think"What the... ". "I ran into my share of issues of computer before, but nothing as weird as this.

Assuming that everything was fine, I let the computer start normally and shortly after the BIOS, the computer screen suddenly turns off.  The only way I could get the boot sequence to pass the BIOS screen and start normally, I had to remove all the devices (including the power cord.)  After the computer has finally loaded completely, I was able to function normally.  Almost every time that I cut it however, the black screen problem happen again.

A solution will be greatly appreciated.

If you still experience the problem, or if you arrived after doing a search for the same problem with your Inspiron1526 (or other). The solution is to replace the CMOS battery. There was some problems with the connector of the screen becomes loose, but if reinstalling the display connector does not solve your problem, then the battery is dead.  The Mitsubishi CR2032 batteries from CHINA are down less than 1.5 volts in only 1-2 years. Looking at the battery that looks like they're a cheap copy of bootleg and probably not at all Mitsubishi. They all have the "Made In CHINA" stamp on the bottom edge. Unfortunately to get to the CMOS battery, you will need to disassemble the laptop computer entire almost to have access, but by replacing the bad battery with a reputable CR2032 3 v battery will solve the problem. After the first reboot, you need to give time for the BIOS to reconfigure and you need to reset the time system and date but the laptop will resume its normal operation after that.

Unfortunately many calls to Dell technical service gave no help to this problem either. Technicians have even claimed to have no knowledge of what the CAPS and the blinking NUM LOCK lights meant. If you are lucky, you may be able to restart a couple times before the laptop doesn't start is not at all, but the time system must be reset - if this happened to you, it's a dead giveaway that the CMOS battery is about to fail. Once you hear the voltage of the battery drops to initial power engage readers and the fan will run for a few moments and then the unit will completely disable. Nothing appears on the screen.

  • 6 sec while charging iPhone black screen problem

    Hi guys,.

Thanks for reading my question first.

After using for years android phones, I decided to switch to the iPhone (6 s) and so far I'm in love.

I have used for about a month now and start a day before, I had this black screen during charging problem and I hope someone who does could shed some light on this issue.

At the end of the day, I connect my iPhone to my computer to back up (I have an automatic back when it is connected to the computer), as well as to recharge.  Automatic backup takes about 15 seconds that I have not much to my phone again and the rest of the time, it is just the battery.  I have check the iTune on my computer from time to time to see how far along the load came and the other day, I noticed that the prosecution has blocked 99% for a long time.  It weird, I woke my phone to check and the screen did not light completely black.

After a quick search, I learned that most of the time, it's a software crash and everything that I had to do it was hard reset my phone, I was pushing the House and buttons at the same time and it worked.

Fast-forward yesterday evening, once more I have recharge my phone connected to my computer and this time, he showed on iTune the battery charge has stuck at 81%.  I tried to wake up my phone without success and once again, I have had to reset hard to restart my phone.

If hard reset worked both times, I won't be the everyday phenomenon and if there is a permanent fix, I would try it.

I should mention that when I bought my 6s (new / sealed) a month ago and it came with iOS 9.0.  I read online that the last iOS 9.3.1 has many problems and most of them would recommend do not update immediately so I've been using iOS 9.0.

Do you think that this black screen (software crash likely?) has something to do with an older version of iOS I use?

Should I try the upgrade to iOS 9.3.1 and see if that makes a difference?

Once the upgrade to the latest iOS and if you are not happy with it, can go back you to your old version of iOS (in my case 9.0)?

Thank you very much in advance for your help!

Your iPhone is a very new phone. You should be able to update without problem. If it was my phone, I would apply the update. I have updated my iPhone 5s without any problem at all whenever a new update of iOS was released. You backup every day, so in the unlikely event that something is wrong, you would be able to restore the phone and restore the backup. You wouldn't lose any data.

Once the upgrade to the latest iOS and if you are not happy with it, can go back you to your old version of iOS (in my case 9.0)?

Decommissioning of the iOS is not supported by Apple and it would not be an option.

IF you update the phone and continue to have problems, take it to an Apple Store and ask them to take a look. The phone is still under warranty.

  • On the Satellite 1800-921 black screen problem

    Hello
My satellite 1800-921 has started to give me a black screen after I turn it on. It loads well, go to the desktop and then the screen turns white and I can't make it respond. We can just distinguish the dialogs on the screen so I don't know if it is a screen problem or things I see on the screen are just ghosts...
    It's a bit worrying!
Does anyone else have this problem? So far, it seems to happen when I turn it on. Usually, I have to turn it off and reboot to get it back and then it works very well.
    Thank you
    Nancy :)

    Hello

to the old series, it may be that the FL inverter is broken or damaged the tupe of backlight. In both cases, you can see the screen but without backlight!

To differi if it is a hard - or software error, you should start the laptop and ESC immediately to enter the BIOS. Then the machine must be running half an hour in the BIOS. When the rupture occurred it is quite sure that some hardware is broken. Otherwise, it is a software based and a restore with recovery CD Toshiba should solve the problem!

  • Black screen problems

For about a week, my Toshiba Satellite C55 - A did not work properly.

I have Windows 8, and when I log in, I have NO Office. Just a black screen.

I can do some things by the Task Manager, but I can't pull up on Control Panel to restart my system.

I don't know what's the problem with him. Any tips? I really need to get my computer working again.

I don't know if you've already found that CD, but I know what to do now.

(It worked for me while I was on the phone with Technical Support)

Turn on the computer if it's turned off.

When the sign in screen appears, look at the power to the screen button.

Click on (or hovering above him).

Press in and hold the button with one hand and click on restart with each other.

It may or may not start, but once he does, a blue screen will come up.

It will say "select an option"... go into the advanced settings.

In advanced settings, it takes an option to restore your system or reset it completely. Try these options first.

If your computer does not respond to this, so do whatever you did to get to the blue screen and go into advanced settings.

This time, you go to "Startup parameters" or something to this agreement.

From there on, press F5. It'll take you in Mode without failure.

Do the restore/reset of the system here (just go into the settings of PC)

Your computer should work very well.

-J' did all this without a CD or any software.

  • Lightroom slideshow with black screen problems

I have a new macbook air and took the opportunity to move my photos in aperture to lightroom because apple has stopped supporting openness, its advanced photo software.

I can see my fine pictures and can change them, but when I try to run the slide show all I get is a black screen. Has anyone experience this and solved this problem? It's maddening because I bought textbooks and followed the instructions. Nothing in the manuals on the resolution of this problem. Help!

    • Go to Lightroom > Preferences.
    • Also please go to preferences > Performance tab and uncheck the box "use graphics processor.
    • Restart Lightroom and see if it works.
  • black screen problem M14x

    location:

I installed a skin pack (this http://skinpacks.com/download/windows-7/red-alienware-skin-pack/#.U5B1jRZWlUR), a few days later I felt that it was not pleasant so I uninstalled it. After the process, my screen is completely black, I didn't really know what to do so I forced the closing down of my computer. (it works when I tried to install the skin pack, I think it was one step behind however) Then, when I tried to start my computer, it just loads the logo then a black lit screen (usually will be the login screen), lit black screen then keeps changing black light not lit at all, it simply continue to do and (maybe forever).

    What I did then:

So I went to google and find the solution, I found the solution by pressing the F8 key to display the early start option to start in a safe atmosphere, but pressing F8 does nothing for me (don't really know if this method works well) after like 4 h a solution I decided to post in this forum.

    Additional information:

All I need is a solution to recover my computer to the operating state, I don't mind if my things you lose (Nothing important in my computer everything), but I prefer to get my things always. Everything still works well, the lights on the keyboard are the word 'ALIENWARE' is always on and also, I can feel cold air coming out of the computer, so I guess that my fan is still fine.

Please advise me on how I can solve my problem as soon as possible

You can call Technical Support in your area and request a copy of the disc!

  • Alienware 51 X R2; Black screen problems

So I installed a new driver for my GTX 645, and then he was only running games with my integrated graphics card when I run on Steam.
Still no change, I went into my BIOS, and change the graphics settings to "discreet".
    Still, no change.
I decided that was stupid, so I uninstalled the driver. And reset my PC.
Once I reset my PC I get nothing but a black screen. If I plug my headphones I HEAR the boot, so, I know it always works.
I think maybe if someone could walk me through how to get my graphics to integrated, I could solve the original problem from there, perhaps a number of times to press Tab, or something. I'm even ok with factory restore, all I really on this is games and others.

    Thank you

Ah, nevermind, I solved the problem by plugging the HDMI into the GPU directly, and change the BIOS settings back to auto, now the only question is my integrated graphics crush my games.

    Hello

Follow the information of dell in the link, including the F12 diagnostics.

"The computer does not start in Microsoft Windows Vista"

    http://support.Dell.com/support/topics/global.aspx/support/KCS/document?docid=DSN_343119&isLegacy=true

    Saving your files:

You can remove the hard drive and put it in a hard drive USB enclosure > plug it into another computer > and try to read and copy your data in this way.

Or, you can download Knoppix > make a bootdisk to > start your system with it (IF your material is all work) > and copy your data from the hard drive like that.

This method requires that your material in the non-Boot machine is working properly.

  • video card and the black screen problems.

Hello world! My desk top compaq presario sr1411nx don't seem to support a video card, I've recently tried

to install. I put the card in one of the three open slots connected to the motherboard, and it seems to fit very well.

The operating system I have is a Microsoft Windows XP Edition family version 2002 service pack 3, Celeron (R) CPU 2.80 ghz, 248 MB of ram.

The graphics card is an ATI Radeon X1300PCI 256 MB. After I installed the card the following continues to happen.

I turn the hard drive and follow on. The windows start menu back to the top.

A message box appears telling me to close all programs. Restart the computer if the installation of the video card

    can be updated and completed.

I then, restart the computer. After that I'm doing it just a black screen and white pointer popup. As I move the mouse

There is no beep sounds. Browser menu and start the internet windows does not load upward.

I then remove the video card and restart the computer and everything works fine.

Question: What could be the cause, and I can fix it?

    Thank you

    Frogman

Try to go into the cmos setup in the bios and see if there is any option to disable the onboard video as memory goes against zero or as allowing the pci. If not try to change the graphics card to the other pci slot

  • Satellite L500 - 20 X black screen problem

    Hello!

I have problems with my laptop. My screen was casuing problems for awhile. I had black lines and white and grounds all over the screen and always had to change the angle of the screen. Once, I opened the laptop and magically, the situation has changed for the better without me doing much. He stayed like that for about a year.

Well, recently, it got worse again and one day my screen stayed black when I tried to boot up the laptop. I tried an external monitor using the windows + P and Fn + F5 key, but none worked. Then I tried closing the laptop right after pressing the power button. It worked. I got a clear image on the external monitor. Then, I opened my laptop and - as if by magic for me - had a picture on the internal display, too. It worked until - after several hours - I had to restart the laptop. Now I'm back with the same question that I had before, and even the once-successful tactics seems to no longer work.

Long story short: I thought, I might as well try a power cycle hard (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GFehLaJP6fQ) before you open Notepad again. And anyway, I don't know if opening it will do me any good.

    My questions are:

    (1) is that someone has an idea what might be going on here?

    (2) a hard power cycle will leave my data intact hard disk? It is not the same as a factory reset, is it? (In fact it is much more data, then the laptop. I would rather sacrifice laptop data.)

    Thanks in advance!

So, can someone at least tell me, if my data is safe, if I do a hard power cycle?
