Black screen when the computer starts.

Original title: Windows startup

Since today, when I start my computer (windows 7), he crosses to the Welcome to windows screen, then goes to a black screen with just the active mouse - no office. I used ctrl-alt-del and looked at the running processes. There were 2 'runonce' process running, and when I stopped one, it is loaded on the desktop. This happens everytime I turn on the computer. Is there any solution for this?

Hello

Thank you for visiting Microsoft Community.

From the description of the problem, I can understand that your computer goes to a black screen after login. I would be grateful if you can provide us with the following information to help us better understand the issue.

  1. What happens when you right click the mouse on the black screen. Do you get the options?
  2. What is the brand and model of your computer?

Especially this problem appears due to lack, corrupt or incompatible display driver problem, however, there may be other causes as third-party programs collide, virus/malware etc as well attack.

You can try these methods mentioned below and check if it helps:

Method 1: Please follow the suggestions listed in the link below:

http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/why-is-my-screen-black-when-i-start-Windows-7

Method 2: I suggest you to run Microsoft Safety Scanner to search for viruses and malware and remove if necessary.

The Microsoft Security Scanner is a downloadable security tool for free which allows analysis at the application and helps remove viruses, spyware and other malware. It works with your current antivirus software.

Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again. The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

Hope this information was helpful and let us know if you need more assistance. We will be happy to help.

A clean boot to check if startup item or services to third-party application is causing this issue.

That remove the HP software solves the problem. I installed with the latest HP drivers and tried to use only the printer drivers without the scanner software. Hi Reasman,

Welcome to the Microsoft answers site!

To clear pending files, select the files/folders in the 'Files to add to the CD/DVD' box and press DELETE. However, if you want to delete all files, click the CD/DVD drive and select 'Clear the staging area' from the context menu.

You can manually delete the files that are stored in the following location:

  • Node Manager does not restart the WebLogic servers when the computer starts

    Hi all

I'm testing the new WebLogic Server version as well as of new forms and reports. I don't have much experience with WebLogic (using the Internet Oracle 10g Application) bare with me for a moment.

I'm using Node Manager to start admin server and all the other managed servers. I also installed nodes as a Windows service manager and configured the boot parameters to include Xrs-/-Xnohup, as stated in the documentation and everything seems to work fine until I restart the server. Node Manager service starts and according to his diary, he plays startup.properties of each server, but it does not start them. Am I missing something here? I found myself in an impression that Node Manager must restart the server in case of reboot system, if the server was running when the computer has been restarted.
Even though I don't have much experience with WebLogic, I'm not a beginner. I managed to migrate (for testing only) all the business application (more than 1000 forms and reports) of iAS 10g to the new version in two days. Application works very well and I only have problems with servers to start when the computer starts using Node Manager.

    Test environment:
    Windows 2008 Standard 32-bit

  • Windows 7: no start button or taskbar when the computer starts

Original title: Black screen and the taskbar and the start to the Start button

At the start, I had a black screen with no tasks or start bar button. Just the pointer and remote area was visible. (I have a dial-up connection and sometimes when I start remote poster on his own area right after the desktop). I could not access the boot menu. I don't know how he has become black because I left after that I turned on the computer. I pressed the power button. When I did I got the light blue screen that says it would close down and he stopped normally. When I rebooted I had no problem and he has not done since.

I not made any changes to the computer except change the desktop wallpaper several times for a long time.

Can someone tell me what is the problem with my computer so I can fix it so this or something worse will happen?

    Thank you

After proofreading by the wire, it looks more like a hardware/driver problem. Have you tried updating your video driver from your computer manufacturers Web site? Please visit the website of the manufacturer of your computer to locate and install the correct driver.

  • Black screen after the computer updated

My day was fine.  I had trouble getting my computer and printer to recognize each other, so I restarted my computer.  We are running Windows 8, I think.  It could be Windows 8.1.  Before it restarted, it finished installing some updates automatically.  When the computer is back to the top, I logged as usual.  Then got a black screen.  We rebooted and powered up the computer turned off several times, but can not further than black screen, unless I hit control, alt, delete and open Task Manager.  How can I fix it so I can use my computer again?

    Hi Nikki,

I suggest you try the steps suggested by Scott Atk from the following link:

The screen loses response (black screen) on the call (after dialing) after 5.0 OTA. But it works well if I plug headphones. The screen can also recover the black screen after I have connect a listener.

Do you have a case on your phone? It can interfere with the proximity sensor and turn the screen black... it is supposed to do after you hold the phone to your ear/head so that your face not to accidentally push buttons.

If it does when you do not hold your phone to your face/head/ear then something else is triggering the sensor of prox - often a case which is near the prox sensor, or a protective screen that is not clear in this area can cause this.
