Black screen while playing games on Satellite A300/500 psag4a
Hi all!
Before that I send my laptop for repairs (it s only 6 months old) I need to see if I am not mistaken.
It s a model of Satellite A300/500 PSAG4A
The problem is that when I play any graphics intensive games the laptop screen goes black and locks. Only a boot cold will get it back.
Any other time he s not ok no problem, the problem only started 5 days ago, it has the latest drivers and BIOS.
Once, he went to a blue screen with hardware failure but was quick to get a good overview of what didn't.
This sounds like a defective video card?
Any help would be appreciated.
Hello!
The laptop gets hot?
What blue screen you get exactly? This could also be a software problem.
Here you can check if you have really the latest driver and BIOS:
http://www.ISD.Toshiba.com.au-Online Support => Download Center-drivers-notebooks-Satellite-Satellite A300 PSAG4A online online online online
Have you tried reinstalling the laptop? Maybe it works after that.
Bye!

I have this PC for half a year.

Hello
Check your drivers manaully and also seek programs of control of the video camera that could
be separated on the manufacturer's website if there is one any of them. This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:
This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:
-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system. For
each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver, description,.
version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.htmlFor drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - Device Manager - Display Adapter - note the brand and complete model of your
video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now click on UPdate Driver (this
cannot do anything as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then do a right click - Uninstall - REBOOT
This will refresh the driver stack.Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party with their
own the software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have. Now go to the site of the manufacturer of system (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) (restoration) and then of the manufacturer of the device
(Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for the BIOS, Chipset and software)
updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after each installation.
Always check in the Device Manager - tab drivers version you install actually shows up. This
because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (particularly that audio drivers) so install a
pilot - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat if necessary.Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW on device at the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER - manually check by model.
Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

Re: QOSMIO X 500 PQX33A-05800J blue of the screens while playing games
After searching for many different gaming laptops high-end, I advanced and bought an x 500-058 in Australia last year. Almost immediately, I started having blue screens when you play with intensive graphics requirements. (for example: World of Warcraft, Civilization V, etc.)
The most common control messages bug said:
"The computer was restarted after a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000009c (0 x 0000000000000000, 0xfffff880031ddc70, 0 x 0000000000000000, 0 x 0000000000000000). A dump was saved in the: C:\windows\MEMORY. DMP. Report ID: 011511-17612-01. »

I took the machine to the store and they replaced it with a new brand. I have since started receiving the same messages on the new machine.
I tried to install the latest graphics driver for toshiba and then I tried the last of nvidia, neither solved the problem.
I tried to restore to the factory since the recovery discs settings, download new drivers, nothing seems to help.
Was I unlucky enough get two faulty machines or y at - it a systemic problem with this model that I know? Anyone have any ideas on how to solve this problem?
It is certainly not to high and not the critical temperature.
I just can't believe something like that happen.I play several games on friends X 500 (Medal of honor black, Call of Duty 2 modern warfare OPS) and it is perfect. X 500 has so much power that the two games works really well.
Are you using the original games or copies with cracks and strange paches?

Get black borders while playing games...
I have the Dell Studio 15 with 512 MB graphics card Ati mobility radeon hd 4570 and windows 7 Professional.
but then that play games like the sims 3, sabotuer im getting the black borders. Even the resolution of my screen is 1366 * 768.
so please help me on this problem.
Thank you.
rashri,
Are you getting these borders on all sides of the image or just the top and bottom of the screen? If your laptop is capable of 1080 p, what happens when you set a resolution of 1920 X 1080. If your screen can only do 720 p then try the 1280 x 720 resolution and see if that makes a difference.Mike - Engineer Support Microsoft Answers

Screen stops working while playing games
I have a HP Pavilion dv6 Notebook, windows 7 64 bit operating system.
I got 2 years in July. In recent weeks while playing games the screen stops working. You can hear the game still in progress but nothing on the screen. I then have to turn off then to let some time before reboting.
I played the game for over a year, so it's not the game that is the problem. It becomes warm, but I have always used a pc fan sub to help keep cool.
I just tried the HP tool to automatically search for updates, but it had not recommended.
Is it a hardware problem or software? What can I do to stop what is happening?
I bought an extended warranty, but I need if I can fix it or whether it should go to a technician (if nothing is physically wrong, they'll charge me).
Hi, do not mount the jinxed shadow xpress, your laptop almost 2 years, so just get a few canned-salvation-air compressed @ any computer store or bigbox and point the noozle @ and the events of the portable breath totally clean dust od and ctut-rabbits, make sure u opens the CD drawer, which will be the cpu and the gpu to time simple down to 10 c. , huh? yahayah ~!

Qosmio X 300-13 L - display shuts down while playing games
Hey guys,.
I really hope you can help me with my problem. I had a problem with my video card so I sent to an ASP called RTS in Germany. They corrected this problem, but after I got my laptop, a new problem appeard.
While playing games, the screen turns black, but everything else works still for about a minute then the system stops. I tried to reset the settings of the BIOS, read in many forums, but nothing helps so far. The problem appreas often during the game World of Warcraft, but since yesterday, it seems less often while playing Leauge of Legends. It is unpossible to use the Qosmio to play with this problem, because I can't recognize any model in this :( I went 2 months of Vista to Windows 7 and the problem appeard only on Windows 7.
If you need more information or something, tell me and I'll give them to you as soon as possible...
Thank you!
Hi byakuya.
If the problem appears only on Windows7 there must be a problem with your installation of Windows 7. Maybe you use the old drivers or wrong or a software causes this problem.
The more interesting point right now is your display driver. 3rd display driver part of Nvidia directly don't have protection against overheating and can cause problems. In my opinion, you must install the driver Toshiba last and official version. It should work I hope

shutdown of PC while playing games
shutdown of PC while playing games, my os: windows xp sp2
The most common cause of shutdown of the PC under load is overheating, and which is usually caused by lack of air circulation.
Assuming it's a desktop PC and not a laptop, remove the side of the case and look for the sheep of dust, pet hair, lint, etc. on the inside. Special attention for the vents, fans and heat sinks on the motherboard, processor and graphics card. An old toothbrush soft to loosen and a can of air spray (or a small vacuum cleaner, if you're very careful), likes to get rid of it.
If it is a laptop, remove all the panels that are loose (as for the areas of RAM and HARD drive) and blow through it to air canned to remove any deposit.SC Tom

Fable III has a black screen when the game restarts in the locker room.
I loaded Fable III, but the locker room screen was black. I went to Nvidia and downloaded the latest driver for the Ge Force 7800 GTX. I have Windows 7 with an Intel dual core & 4 GB Ram. I rebooted Fable III but I still have a black screen when the game restarts in the locker room. The internet shows that my CPU will launch the game. How can I solve this problem of black screen?
Thank youOriginal title: Fable III problem
Hello
Fable III is a graphically demanding game designed for next generation equipment. Your computer must have both a powerful CPU (processor) and a graphic chipset (video card). The video card must also be using the latest video card drivers for the highest level of performance and compatibility between your hardware and Fable III.
The issue is limited to Fable III for PC? Are you facing other than display issues when reading Fable III for PC?
