BlackBerry 10 cannot delete multiple texts

I don't know if my phone has a fault and must be returned or if it is a bug of sorts. Impossible to delete several texts either by touching the date above and "before delete" or using the icon of the Recycle Bin on the right pane. It will ask "are you sure you want to delete prior" but nothing happens. Someone save me a visit at the ATT store! Thank you very much! PS My bold 9900 and the torch did this and the feature is there then why?

Hello and welcome to the community!

Here's a knockout who deals with this error:

  • BlackBerry Smartphones cannot delete a text message

I have 1 text message that I cannot remove from my list of messages on my 8800.  I tried all the functions remove I can find.  Other messages from the same sender text have been removed easily.  Any suggestions?

  • BlackBerry Z30 cannot delete some text messages

I sent around 30-40 text messages for several hours and was able to remove most of the answers, but I have 3 which will not delete. Interestingly, these 3 were all sent to a few minutes of each other.

I tried to reboot, reload the hub, to put an end to the conversation from inside the message, but I can't seem to remove.

I'm on the latest - stable version should I recharge BB10 from scratch or perhaps wait for the next update? Is there a low level method to delete these messages?

    Thank you.

I would have thought that restart your phone and refreshing the hub would do the trick. I can't think of any other method of low level that resolve. But I usually jump right in suggesting a refill of OS because I think it is a good idea to reload your current (or new) OS every few months so maybe I'm not the best guy to get advice on this subject.

    See you soon.

  • Delete multiple text Messages?

Search here and elsewhere but do not find an answer to my question. On previous Motorola phones, I could delete multiple text messages in just long-pressing the specific text message in a thread... then tapping each additional I wanted to delete... and then selecting delete. This way I could whittle down some long threads.

However, since I got my Verizon Moto X, it seems that the only way to remove any message text is either one-at-a-time, or all of the text don't thread at once... no more the ability to choose several text messages in a thread to delete several at once? I forgot something, or a simple feature common sense has been removed?

My question is not focus on deleting a thread complete or using the default value for a maximum number of messages to be automatically deleted (i.e. the maximum of 500). Its more specific to trimming/weeding out text messages in a thread in the messaging app.

  • BlackBerry Z10 how delete individual text messages?

Is there a way to delete individual text messages?  It should be added that if it is not possible, you should not have to remove your whole conversation if you only want a single message deleted text.

Someone at - it a response?

    Thank you!

Yes you can. Just hold your finger on the intended message deleted about 3 seconds, you will see a menu of options open to your right screen with an icon of the trash downstairs.

This deletes only the selected message and not the entire conversation.

    I hope this helps!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones cannot delete text message

I have a text message which I cannot remove.  All others have been removed without any problem.  This one just won't go away.  Any thoughts?  Thank you.

My "curve" to do this all the time.  Just delete as usual and then do a battery pull, it will be probably gone when you turn back.

If it helps, please click the button of "Congratulations" and mark your issue resolved...

  • Cannot DELETE the text on the PDF - NO AVAILABLE SYSTEM FONT

When I try to change the text with Adobe Acrobat Pro X 10.1.0 on Mac OS X 10.6.8 on a PDF on Windows, I get the error:

«All or part of the selection has no available system fonts.» Cannot add or remove text using the selected font. »

    I fact as shown here:

Error "all or part of the selection has no available system fonts...". » | Change the text in PDF format

    http://kb2.Adobe.com/CPS/330/330971.html

but I get the same error when you try to remove the text. How to remove text? Thank you.

Tools > Protection > mark for the redaction. There are two parts to the process: first you mark the text you want to delete. Can redact you it. I suggest reading the section of the file Acrobat help on redaction for more details. The advantage of writing, is it permanently deletes the selected text in the file.

  • Smartphones blackBerry - need to delete multiple records

I'm not sure how they appeared there, but when I go to my email or SMS icon and view folders, there are several files to an e-mail address that I DON'T have connected with my Blackberry. At the same time, I tried to sync my email to work with my phone, but later decided not to do so.

Since I got a new BB and transferred my old stuff for my new phone (the files have never been there before), now all my Outlook folders appear in the folder view, but there are no messages in them.

How can I get rid of these?

To remove the multiple Outlook folders:

    Open the Blackberry Desktop Manager

    Connect the device via USB

Go to the backup and restore

    Go to advanced

In the box on the right look for FOLDERS and clear

    Synchronization again.

    Thank you
