  As much as I know there no such option in the settings. I would like to give it a shot with the light installation manager app from Google play. There are many different options for adjusting the LED notifications, maybe you will find some that will do the job.

  Try the settings > display > led notifications & check "other" see. Also check in the settings of notification of the relevant applications.

  I changed to KK for the lollipop and I don't have LED notification when my phone is turned off. Really? Why did you remove?

  When you select 'SILENT' in Android 5.0, you choose "without interruption", which means that you receive notifications, not even LED. This is the norm for Android 5.0.

  In our last update we have however this changed if the LED is still active when you select muffler. But depending on where you purchased your phone (country and operator) may not received you this update again. When you receive the update to our latest software, the LED will run in silent mode.

  The LED on my BlackBerry keeps flashing and I can't work out why. I have no new emails, messages, Facebook notifications, Twitter mentions, appointments/calendar of events and the LED does not flash for new articles in TIME magazine app in any way. None of the other applications has nothing to tell me of one.

  I've updated the OS for a long time, so I don't see that being the cause of the problem, which means that I can't work on why the led continues to blink, unless my BlackBerry is broken.

  Has anyone else had this problem?

  Hi sorry it took me so long to answer, I read the email on my BB and then forgot about it. I discovered that it is the application that I use for Twitter, which has been the cause, whenever a new tweet came in my editing it would be flash alert me and sometimes it seems to go a little crazy himself and not stop blinking, but whatever it takes, it's for me to close the application.

  If your phone is correctly configured with the correct profiles and the LED does not flash

  Once defined, I think you have three options.

  (1) the device OS

  (2) return the default phone and get another.

  (3) try the free trial of BB alerts to see if this correction is the problem.

• BACKFLIP: Where is... Led notification and Alerts notification for Facebook/MySpace?

  I have a few questions. My first question is, I have a lot of apps that say they can warn my by LED light. I put it to inform me, but when I get a text or message twitter the led lights. The circle of the speaker a light? If so is there a setting I have to go to?

  My second question is, are there not facebook and Myspace apps which will inform you actually when you receive something. (message, friend request). I have not a single notification since Ive had the apps.

  1. the phone has not built in LED indicator. The circle you are referring is the light sensor. It is the sensor that helps auto adjusts the screen backlight according to surrounding it.

  2. for FB and Myspace notifications, you have two options: a) check your settings online within the FB and Myspace on PC site and allow notifications no longer pushed to your email or text or b) download the official FB and Myspace application on the market. These applications have built in notifications. I suggest you go with option A as option B consumes more battery. It is preferable that you play with the first two methods to find which suits you best.

• DEFY: LED notification always on (red light) w / Skype active

  Don't know if it's the phone or something with the Skype software but when Skype is active the LED phone notification is still, barely, but it is.

  It turns very low red (think droid eye) and is not extinguished unless the application is closed. Not really a major problem, but I wanted to point out just in case it happens to a later discussion.

  The faint red glow means that "proximity sensor" is active. I don't know why Skype that would make unless explicitly enabled app even when the Skype user isn't a call. The prox sensor is supposed to start only when the user is a call (not Bluetooth or speaker) and puts the phone up to his face.

  I'm developing an application of crossed with phonegap and Jquery mobile platform. I'm trying to implement push notifications for the blackberry application using PushWoosh.

  I noticed that I'm not able to receive notifications when the application is in the background, or when it is closed. I get notifications only when the application is in the foreground.

  Any suggestions on this problem?

  Once upon a time, I used the get message notifications (hub icon, audio beeper, blinking LED) whenever I get a message from Yahoo! Messenger.  No more.  I checked in the HUB and notifications are enabled but messages don't appear in the chat application and not in the HUB.  I have no notifactions at all.  Help!

• BlackBerry Z30 text Notification sounds

  I just got my new Z30, have everything set up the way I like it but I'm having a problem with the sound is when I send or receive a text. In the notifications, I got the tone on the 'present' sound for text messages, but whenever I have to send a message, it makes the 'essential '. When I receive a text makes the 'essential' sound first then the 'present' sound, or sometimes both at the same time. He does this in the Normal profile and when I set the phone to silent or vibrate it does not either sound. If I put it in phone calls that he always does the "Essentials" its transmission and reception of texts. All the sounds for other applications, including the BBM and 5 different emails, that I put in place are working properly, so it's just the SMS language that drives me crazy!

  I tried to delete the texts of the hub and that did not help. I disabled the sounds for the texts and it is always the 'essential' sound.
