BlackBerry 8300 Smartphone camera and mapping disabled

Hi, sorry if this has already been posted several times, but I have looked for a solution. I recently bought a 8100 and a 8300 which are both almost new. The 8300's camera is disabled by the administrator and the mapping application has been disabled by the it strategy. How to reverse these elements? I will return the 8300 if these applications are not operative. Thank you

I'm guessing you bought two devices? If so, the former owner has deleted the device IT strategy before selling.

  • Battery faulty BlackBerry Blackberry Curve Smartphones 9360 and software now corrupted

    I have a Blackberry Curve 9360

Problem started as - battery discharged charge for nothing and switched phone off when you use the browser or a camera.

Phone calls / Email / BBM / SMS ok

Said to try the software update via Blackberry Desktop Manager

Tried it on my laptop but it loaded all company settings and restrictions that use my company (British Telecom)

This included the removal of Blackberry App world and most of my apps

O2 has forced me to make a back up

    Security wiped the phone

This has removed the browser icon

App world and Apps are still reported missing, but they are visible when you look at the applications installed via Options / device / application management

E-mail accounts are displayed when you use the wizard, he accepts the passwords and then fails to remember passwords and takes you back through the new assistants

Is there a way to do a full format of the phone and to start from scratch as doing the wipe of security is obviously not enough to remove restrictions of business who have been responsible for Blackberry App World

As I've been flooded with assistance I edge of Googling.

I backed up contacts / calendar to Outlook

copied the photos / videos / music to help drag and drop through my documents / my computer

And then restored to factory settings.

Some sites say that for this you go in Options/Security/security wipe, but that erases all your data and not the software (which in this case was corrupted)

Factory reset is now pushed 3 buttons at the same time Alt / aA (right symbol) / del

Then Yes, you lose all the preferences / set ups and must use the browser for Blackberry App World once again, i.e. Once loaded, all applications you used to have must be in the view "uninstalled" from Blackberry App World / My World.

After all this, I thought that much, it seems, as battery problem has been resolved, an hour later he died.

My partner has offered to lend me his battery, when we change places I noticed my battery was marginally more roughly in the Middle, mmm battery certainly at its release, the time for a new.

next problem is then to the place to buy, many of those cheap on ebay, but necessarily false/second hand, oh well, keep looking.

    Good bye

  • BlackBerry 8300 Smartphones do not receive SMS messages

Well, my Blackberry has been upward since Sunday, do not receive SMS not, deletion of my Inbox all, very slow execution times and loading is painful.

I thought it might have been a problem of memory, so I removed my pictures and deleted all my emails that are not needed, but yet I don't receive SMS messages.

Anyone got any ideas here? I really don't want to send my phone off for repair, so if there is a simple solution, I would be grateful. I have far too many people form calls, thinking that I am ignorant, I do not answer to their messages.

    Thanks in advance,

  • BlackBerry 9800 smartphones format and recover

Hi I need to format and recover the phone of my girlfriend after she threw on me!

How can I delete the OS and reinstall?

THX in advance for your prompt response

    Manual device OS upgrade instructions:

    1. start by searching for your operator and the system operating file that you want to use.

    http://NA.BlackBerry.com/eng/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp

    2. make a backup of your device first, using Desktop Manager > backup. Close at the end Office Manager and disconnect it from BlackBerry. Get DM here http://us.blackberry.com/apps-software/desktop/

    3. download the OS files to the PC then install on the PC by running (double click) the downloaded file.

    4. go into c:\program files Research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml."

    5. This step is not necessary unless there is a problem on the next steps. Use BBSAK from BBSAK.org and wipe the device (after doing a full backup), then after you get the 507 error (no OS installed) then proceed to step 6

6 remove the internet connection for PC and reboot the PC.

    7. plug the BlackBerry and double-click on "Loader.exe." It is located in the same place as the above vendor.xml file was in.

    8. If you did step 5, restoration of the back upward. Follow this KB if necessary http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB10339

Take advantage of the new operating system.

I want to disable the vibration before ring, but when I look at the advanced options for the profiles of my ring, it shows only a choice of 1, 2, or 3 vibrations and no option that I can find to turn off atmosphere completely (unless I have the phone in silent mode). Anyone?

I'll look again. I must have missed it when I was working on it earlier.

  • Blackbery of blackBerry 8300 Smartphones does not start... have you tried everthing.

Hello I have a 8300 BB that no longer works.  Its only about 5 months.  Thing is its an ATT phone and I'm here in canada, Rogers.  He's trying to start... think about it for a min flashes a red LED and then repeat ad nausem.  Ive endevoured to fix and even took a few phone repair places in the city.  Normally a telephone that new you would take with your provider and he would address the hardware failure but being his an ATT phone Rogers is of little use to me.

Anyone know where I can send this phone to get fixed? Or am I on lunch here?  Troubleshooting as exhausted and we are pretty certain partners of his material.  IM willing to spend money to get it repaired.  Any ideas let me know.  Please and thanks in advance!

Sync with BlackBerry and outlook is the same as before. (Bluetooth > menu > Options > under the gaze of service for these services.)

  • BlackBerry Storm Smartphone Versions and Java Support

    Hi all

According to the information on the Web on Blackberry storm, they only have one 9530 version. Searching on the forums I could see some people talking about 9500 also, see info here. Now we only have one version now? Please correct my understanding.

According to the information I have the Blackberry storm is released with Vodafone and Verizon. Vodafone is based GSM and Verizon CDMA based. So I guess that the storm supports both GSM and CDMA.

It may be a silly question but still I ask. As devices based CDMA based generally Brew, I had a doubt, that where we have two versions of the storm, both supported by Java. As we develop applications using JDE4.7 will work on both versions.

Please correct my understanding and provide information.

    Best regards

    Sandeep

    Hello

the storm has two features: 9500 and 9530.
    9530 = 9500 + CDMA

I use now a 9530 in France, where there is no CDMA. It is then exactly as if I had a 9500.

Modern BlackBerry devices (with trackball or a touch screen) have an operating system that is made up of Java (and), as well as applications can be developed in Java for BlackBerry. You can find valuable information by clicking on the "DEVELOPERS" link at the top of this page.

Java applets are not supported by the browser.

Be careful which JDK you are using for your development.

  • BlackBerry 8520 Smartphone internet and email problems

Ive got the 8520 on O2 PAYG, with BB bolt.

Ive managed to get the phone works fine at home connected to my wifi at home, however once that my browser doesn't im away from home and I can download no matter what go to app world.

Also can't set up my personal mail of yahoo at home or abroad.

    any ideas?

You are away from your WiFi router now?

Do a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way:

With the BlackBerry powereddevice, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart. A reboot in this way is prescirbed for most the gltiches and operating system errors, and you will lose any data on the device doing so.

    If still nothing,

On your BlackBerry device, go to:

    1. options > advanced > host Routing Table > Menu > register.

2 send your service from your carrier's BIS site books:
    Of your handheld: http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB15402

Go to the Personal Email Set Up icon and sign. Then under help!, select Service books and select send service books.

    Your desktop PC: http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB02830
North American carriers - scroll down to select your carrier
Carriers worldwide - find your operator from the list

    3. with the BlackBerry device powered time, remove battery for a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to restart. This restart, even if you have already done this, is often necessary to install the service books.

  • BlackBerry 8900 Smartphone trackball and keyboard frozen!

Yesterday morning I left my phone in the bathroom while having a shower, unfortunately I don't thnink had water in the keys and ceased to operate from the mobile phone. I always receive messages and pings, but invisible to access for the phase of unlocking my phone and cannot pick up calls, I have constantly rebooted and taken the battery on so many times and got the same result. Does anyone know what I should try, he was one day, I heard the rice trick works but I do not know! Reply back as soon as possible

If the water goes inside the phone, then various types of problems can occur. Without any delay, you must remove the battery and put the hot on (Sun) surface for quite long so that the device can be dried down (as much as possible). Only, then you can try using the device.

If inconsistent behavior can observe her you should consider having a new device.
