  • BlackBerry unlocked - unlocked Q10 Q10

I have a BB of Q10, purchased from Rogers in the Canada. I bought outright and then paid rogers to unlock the device because I travel quite frequently to the Canada and the United States.

The phone seems to be open correctly. I used it on the Rogers network to the Canada since I bought it and I was able to use it with T-Mobile and Verizon SIM cards to the United States as well as wandering mobility. So I know that it is at least partially open, its different SIM cards at least 4 used different sellers.

I am now in Europe, Croatia to be exact and bought two SIM cards different from suppliers here (Tele2 and T-Mobile). However, the two cards when it is inserted into the device invites a notification "SIM card blocked The device is network locked. Contact your service provider. »

I spoke with the technical support of Rogers, they assure me that the device is unlocked and provided another code to do. When I go into settings > Security and privacy > card SIM screen says "the device is ready to be used on the network" (with T - Mobile SIM inserted). The options; Network subset and Service provider, all say UNLOCKED. There is no available option still unlock anything. Yet, I can't get the unit works on the network here. Is it still possible for a device to be unblocked at the regional level?

It is not a conflict of network, T-Mobile and Rogers are both HSPA/UMTS so the unit should work in theory.

Does anyone have experience with this? I'm running out of ideas, and it will suck really have to rely on Wifi for the next 3 weeks or have Rogers to pay $100 for a (criminal) roaming package

    Dan

I've never seen a 'regional' unlocked BlackBerry. It is a network locked or unlocked.

My guess would be a difference in band network in the region, that you travel. You can try 3G network settings and the test?

Settings > network connections and > Mobile network > Network Technology, what choice do you have here?

  • BlackBerry card unavailable Q10 for this country

What is c? When you buy a Q10 device, they will be happy to boast of included apps: maps, calendar, etc. Some applications will not work. So, you get a device with half of an iOS or Android features at the same price. I only wish that when BlackBerry is going to cash in, I have spent on my Q10 they will receive the same message from the Bank: $ not available for this country grow.

Thank you. Which country are you?

  • BlackBerry PDF Reader Q10

    Hello.
    Can anyone help?
On my old mature there used a function "display text" If you press the BlackBerry button whist a PDF document is open. This you helped reach a phone number and press the green call button, highlight, and you called the number. Very convenient for me.
I once bought a competitors for a change of phone and left my colleague in a day because she does not have this function.
I just bought a Q10 and found this little handy function does not appear on either.
Anyone know what I mean and if you can suggest so if there is anything I can do?
I downloaded another PDF reader that seems to do, but the default player is the standard that is supplied with the phone. If I change the other to be the default, it might solve the problem but it doesn't seem to be an option to change this.
Not enjoying not my new BlackBerry a lot I'm afraid!

-Very well, good deal. I hope that you will find other orders also.

    Good luck.

Hello nayar and welcome to the community of BlackBerry Support Forums.

Sorry to hear that you are having a problem with your BlacKBerry ID.

To clarify, you have a new BlackBerry Q10 and try to use the same BlackBerry ID on your older BlackBerry, but you are unable to remember the password? So you removed the BlackBerry ID, but now cannot create this new?

Are you an error on your device? If so can you provide this error as it appears, or a screenshot of it?

    Thank you!

  • Boot in Blackberry Z10 or Q10 Simulator

    Hi guys,.

I downloaded the Simulator Blackberry here: https://developer.blackberry.com/develop/simulator/bb10allsimversions.html

    The version is 10.1.0.4651

I managed to install my application Android-converted in the Simulator. However, it looks like a general Simulator. I need to specifically use the simulator of Q10.

    Anyone know about this?

You should see something like this (even if I use an older version of the Simulator).

You need to 'reset' the virtual machine to enter this screen, though.

  • BlackBerry SIM temporary Q10, change of plans?

    Hi all

    I have a Q10 with a & AT T Blackberry plan (out of business).

I'm about to visit a foreign country and tentatively plan to take a SIM card to use a local data plan.  My interest is primarily in the data.   The security features of my Q10 will mean that I'll need a special plan of BB?   Where can I get a regular plan as I would with Android devices?

    Hello

Unlike legacy devices, BB10 devices do not use a specific data BB plan... they use "generic" like every other smartphone data plans. In some cases, have a BIS plan heritage on a BB10 device does not actually. So, as long as your device is unlocked by carrier and as long as your model is compatible with the other network (for radio frequencies and others), then you should be able to simply change the SIM card with one that has a generic data plan and keep going right.

Good luck and let us know!

  • BlackBerry software Z10 Q10 device switch question

Attempt to use Blackberry link to a switch of the device to a Z10 with Q10.

    See the error message:

    http://i.imgur.com/PBScXOe.PNG

    Legend of the error:

    No data is transferred

No data is transferred for the following reasons:

-The version of the OS on your new device is older than the version of the OS on the device, that you spend. Select a different device or cancel the transfer

    Versions of the software:

Q10 - not locked to Bell Mobility - 10.1.0.238 - no software update available

Z10 - not locked to Bell Mobility - 10.1.0.273 - no software update available

Don't link Version - 1.1.0.37 - no software update available

Unfortunately, this is a limitation of the BONES of BB10. You cannot restore a backup of a newer version of OS to an earlier version. You can restore a backup from an earlier version to a version identical or newer only.

You need the Q10 to be on a more recent version. Your only option is to install a "leaked OS ' on the Q10 in order to be able to restore your backup data or transfer.

Here is a link to the latest OS for the Q10. Everything you do is download the file, it will be a .rar file, so you will need a tool for decompression like 7zip to unzip the .exe file. Then connect the Q10 and run the .exe file and it will update the operating system. Need you more time to download the different file in order to install it, too. It takes about 5 minutes to load the new operating system.

  • BlackBerry BB ID Q10

    Hello!
I have a problem with my new camera. I just bought Q10 Blacberry. I've never had BB before ID so I registered a new ID using smartphone. I used the e-mail. But then I changed my mind and decided to use another email. so, when I received an e-mail from audit, I chose a link 'delete this code '. Then I registered a new ID using web and e-mail. But I can't change the settings on my smartphone. When I tried to enter a new ID he gave me an error 'you must use your first ID' and when I use my first ID it said "This ID does not exist". I thought it would be useful I have save another ID with my first e-mail using the same data (name, pass and so on) but it did not always help and it keep telling me I have to use my first (original ID) which had been deleted. What should I do to use any ID on this smartphone?

First things first, click on 'Options' next to your message then click on 'Edit Post' to delete your email addresses. It is not allowed to post personal information such as those in these forums.

Now, further down from the top of your screen and select settings then select Security and privacy then wipe security. You will need to do a security wipe to remove the old ID of BlackBerry. Once you have done this, you can go ahead and set up a new. Be aware that any information that you saved on the phone with the first ID BB will be lost.

Let us know if that helps you.

  • BlackBerry black screen Q10 during the execution of HUB

My Q10 is just 2 days again and now has a problem of HUB.
When I run HUB, the screen will turn black, but it still works.
I don't know how to describe it in detail, so please look at my recorded video.
I tried to reload some other 10.3.2 OS version, but doesn't solve is not this problem.
    The current version is 2876.
You have any ideas? Help, please!
    Thank you.

    https://youtu.be/7_AZsvv0l4Q

If you used an autoloader (No BB link) to reinstall the OS and does always immediately after installation with an autoloader, then it is definitely a hardware problem. An autoloader wipe everything off the camera and recharge the freshness of the OS. After that, there is no other solution. You have a failure of the sensor of some type. It is highly unlikely that a "newer version" will remedy.

  • BlackBerry EVERNOTE on Q10 Q10

Does anyone know if EVERNOTE can be used for the Q10?

I don't see any support for it on the EVERNOTE site at this point?

I was wondering this too after her search initially app World. Turns out that it is integrated with the operating system. You can add it as a new 'account' in the settings menu. When connected, it syncs your evernotes for green issues in your app "Remember."

Just to learn myself, but it appears that a folder notes shared someone else syncs to BB10, so try to understand this yet.

    Good luck!
