  Do you mean that you want to uninstall App World from your device. If it is then for BlackBerry® Device Software 5.0, go to Options >Applications > and then select third party. Then uninstall App world from there.

  Hello - I have downloaded Blackberry Apps World and every time I open it it loads then the screen freezes at the homepage and I have to do a soft reset. I downloaded a few times and it happens every time. Also, I got the new 8900 curve and meets all requirements. Your help be appreciated you. Kind regards

  Generally, the first time you launch AppWorld as the first time you go to a category, there is a large amount of data to download. Patience is the key. I found that wait at least 5 minutes for each category of charge completely has helped make his later use more fluid and faster... but the first time was very very slow. It's just the way it works now.

  Hello!! This is my first post. Just bought my blackberry curve 8900 from t-mobile and I can't understand how to store my blackberry apps that are downloaded on my card instead of the phone's memory. I need help please

  Cannot do. The applications are stored ON the memory of the device.

  Now, if you want to disable and a backup application, you can do in AppWorld (for applications downloaded on the AppWorld) and re-install later.

  You can also use the software Aerize which stores the apps on the map in support, but install them when you are ready to use them.

  But you can not install and run an application from the media card.

• BlackBerry personal passport, work Z30 - Questions before I make begins.

  My Q is on how to better implement my new passport (personal Sim) with Z30 (working Sim).

  GOAL - have all things running through my passport (personal Sim) any transfer of calls to Z30 (Sim works) because I only use calls for communication with the work. (Can connect in the future the work email) for now it is ok on Z30.

  History - receive a Z30 of work about 4 months (LOVED IT!).  I have basically everything (emails, social networking, applications) who are related to it and gave it a test drive, including the mixture.  Company's BES so I turn back on (personal work) BONE (working Sim) device.  I have a life on my (personal Sim) and need to keep the number (daily driver).  I have only to say 12-15 by phone with loads of emails to a large company (working SIM).

  I want to undo what I've done with the Z30 (emails, social applications, which should be easy) but Blend?. If I decide in the future get the emails from work to my personal HUB it will affect the passport and the mixture too (BES)?  Not sure if I want to keep the entire staff on the working device or working on the personal device. Can you use 2 BB phones on the same mixture for 1 PC?  Is not a question continue to have e-mail sent to (work Sim) but if BES, is that I think that it is, this shouldn't be a problem.

  So my options are

  1 cancel everything and use Passport for personal use, personal mix, 1 PC. Z30 for work so that the calls redirection to Passport and no work Blend.

  2 (I hope) - passport to use for personal use, with BES sent up the personal phone for email to work. Calls forward since Z30 passport and use of mixture if possilbe as I do on Z30 right now.

  Reason is 95% of personal time communication with the work of 5%.  Unless I get a dual sim phone but I'm back for Blackberry and should not otherwise!

• BlackBerry App new application facebook fail

  I downloaded the new facebook application yesterday. It has allowed us to choose our settings for the newsfeed. I always choose "most recent messages.

  Unfortunately, the new facebook app does not the same option for a calendar.

  On my Q10, my calendar showed a post for 3 days (an eternity in the smartphone era) on top of my calendar. This isn't my most recent post.

  I noticed the same thing about Timeline.She my friend messages every day, but I see a post 12 - former day from the top of its timeline when see the Q10!  This is not the case on the desktop version of facebook!

  As a customer, I REQUEST that we be allowed to chose our timeline settings. I ALWAYS want to see the most recent messages on top.  Allowing us the option is a sign of respect.

  I hope that Black Berry and facebook fix this immediately!

• BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry App World and the Application displays only not on my phone, then Device Application Management options

  I did a software upgrade a few days ago, then I did a restore, because I lost all my App I had downloaded. After I did the restore, I started to download every App, when I was told that I can go the Blackberry App world on my desktop and reinstall them faster then one by one. Before that I was downloading one by one.

  Now that I did, I can see the icons on my BB but when I go to my world App on my phone, some of the same application are evidence of uninstall, when I have them install. Please help solve this problem.

  My phone was working fine without problem until I did the update of the operating system software. I hope that we can have this correction at your earliest.

  Hang on... now I am confused. You have problems with the supplied AppWorld apps? Or applications that you have obtained from other sources? Or the default applications provided originally with the BB?

  I just bought a passport.  I want to downloand netflix, UBER, Google Maps and DISH anywhere.  I can't find any of the tehse worldwide blackberry or amazon online.

  Do not do you research on the applications available for BB before deciding to buy it?
  Unlike Apple and Android phones, Blackberry is for business people, so 'toy-apps' are less available.

  You could try the Amazon appstore and/or install Snap and install Android apps.

  If you cannot use one of the methods that are (for example, the e-mail account associated with your BB ID is only delivered to the BB and are not accessible otherwise), then you may well be completely out of luck and maybe create a new BB ID, and completely from the beginning. If this happens, please try to memorize your references... the human element is an essential element in the security of a BB.

• BlackBerry Bold 9900 Smartphones facebook question

  Starting yesterday I started to have problems to display notifications FB in my BB message folder.  The notification comes up saying "posted by Facebook user in"Unknown Album".  It has a date of 31 December 1969 19:00.  This messages for all notifications.  I have not changed something pertaining to my settings.  It doesn't let me see the notification.  I uninstalled and reinstalled, but problems continue.  Any suggestions?

  To influence the BlackBerry there are no viruses yet created. This isn't the problem.

  Probably, it's a bug in the application or the connection to FaceBook's servers. Things changes of Facebook and the FaceBook for developers BlackBerry have to run to catch up and understand what the change and make adjustments to the beta, application, etc.

  I can't find any instructions on how to remove a passport of BB apps, all positions on the withdrawal of the apps to see the Options/Advanced Options for previous BBs. Options menu appears in the menu of passport. Thank you

  Hi, all you have to do is press the icon of the app for a few seconds without lifting your finger OFF... the app then "flashed" then you tap it again & you will be asked to cancel or remove in a new box pop up.

  If the application you want to remove is NOT a small "trash" you can't delete it I'm afraid.

• Z10 Bluetooth blackBerry between Z10 and PlayBook questions

  Since the upgrade of a Torch 9800 to a Z10 I problems massifs wth Bluetooth between my laptop and my Playbook. They are

  BlackBerry Bridge offers no function whatsoever

  I am unable to get my Playbook to connect to Internet via Internet Tetthering on my Z10

  I'm unable to transfer files between the two devices using Bluetooth

  My devices are paired, but only available is using my phone as a remote control for the PlayBook, wow!

  People advice? This situation is quite useless.

  I have the same problems and pursued...

  With respect to the characteristic bridge that's not finished yet developed for the Z10 to the tablet. The Bridge mode is really only good for limit navigation, but does not work well with sites secured using https.

  In the Playbook e-mail client Bridge mode will not work correctly. It works better in mode hot spot WiFi, or with the true USB tether.

  Tethering using Bluetooth does not work yet correctly with the Tablet and other types of tablets and Bluetooth connections between computers. With a laptop or desktop USB strap works great.  I use it myself with my laptop. I was told that Bluetooth attachment option be set in one of the next updates.

  The best solution is to use the phone mode hot spot WiFi for the tablet. It works very well, and it's much faster that the Bluetooth for fixing can never work. Bluetooth attachment is limited to about 2.0 to 2.5 MB/sec speed. With the hot mode the lanyard WiFi spot can go at the speed of your mobile data connection will allow. In 4G mode I got more than 21 mb/s.

  I use where possible a unit of external battery with my phone for more battery time using its WiFi access point mode. BlackBerry has this option. You can see them in Blackberry accessories at most of the places that sell Blackberry accessories.  CrackBerry.com and Futureshop sell it is incidental.

  Yes, it is possible to do.

  You can do this by finding your app in BlackBerry AppWorld online catalogue (available here: http://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/).  Once you have found your application, click on the button send (on the right side) and then insert your e-mail address.  This will then send a link to your email address which you can then easily transfer it to others as you see fit.  You can also use this method to send links to anyone.  Another suggestion is to take the QR code for your application and include that in your email.  All users need to do is scan this code using the barcode scanner in the AppWorld and it will automatically open the page of the app in BlackBerry AppWorld.
