BlackBerry App tried to buy Jacques... error of paypal?

I tried to buy the Maria app today for my new Z10.

It allowed me to select and I went to the payment procedure.

He blamed with "ppdl. PAYPAL_ERROR_UNKNOWN ".

Any ideas on the cause? My end or the BB world?

When you are in the world of BB (on your Z10), slide down from the top... then choose settings... then select "payment options"... and then at the bottom of the screen click on 'Edit'... then next the option PayPal there is a button called 'Edit'... .click on it and re-enter your PayPal password.

Sounds complicated but it's really not.

That fixed it for me!

    My problem got solved only. And here's how...

    Today, I received an unexpected email from PayPal. About 3 weeks ago, I was in contact with the PayPal Service, by mail and by telephone, to solve my problem I had (first post). Unfortunately at this time no one was able to help me, because everything seemed fine. BlackBerry World always told me to check my PayPal account when I was trying to buy an app, but I check and my account as well as the support PayPal says the same thing. So I didn't know what else to do.

    Email of todays says, that there was a failure of the system that caused problems with some accounts, including mine. They are really sorry that they have noticed earlier, but the failure was not visible on the outside. Short, I have read that I check my PayPal account, because that's what I did, but it wasn't because of that failure that the audit has never crossed.

    Immediately after that I received a credit note from PayPal, an amount of 20 Euros and of course my problem is fixed.

    Of course, all this situation took a while and I am really frustrated, but in the end everything worked.

    So, if anyone has the same or a similar problem, get your phone and call PayPal support. There must be something with your account, will they remedy.

    And now, I'm just happy that I can enjoy my BB passport without more problems.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones trying to update, now error 523

    I received a notice that there is a software update, with improvements and tried to apply today using the USB connection.

    Now, I get a "App Error: 523" / Reset. "." When I rebooted the 9550, I got the same error of App. Since this phone takes about 5 minutes to reset, is all that it will do in the future?

    I would first say a reboot, once again, like that >

    With the BlackBerry powereddevice, remove the battery for five minutes and then reinsert the battery to restart. A reboot in this way is prescirbed for most the gltiches and operating system errors, and you will lose any data on the device doing so.

    Now, if you get the error 523, you will need to follow these steps and remove all your third party apps, at least for now, until you add a trailing by one to see which is the cause of the problem.

    (1) make sure that you have Blackberry Desktop Manager installed.

    (2) on your PC, go to start > run and copy and paste the following line exactly (i.e. with quotation marks):

    'c:\program files\common research in motion\apploader\loader.exe' /nojvm

    (3) the Application Loader Wizard will appear - click on "next".
    (4) in the ' connection: ' drop-down menu, you should see "USB - PIN: UNKNOWN". Click on the button "next".
    (5) you should see a list of applications ready to be installed for your Blackberry. Press Next and finish, and that you are well on your way to get your Blackberry to life. Just unplug and let the process finish completely.

    NOTE: If you do not display the list of applications mentioned in step 5 and instead to see the message "the Blackberry Desktop Software has no Blackberry Device Software for the device you have connected to the computer. Contact your wireless service provider or system administrator', then you must download the Blackberry operating system for your support and your device.

    Just select the appropriate type of carrier and network, select your Blackberry model from the list and download the latest version. Install this download and follow the steps above again and you should be on the right track.

    I got a new Storm2 9550 and some of my applications didn't work properly when transferred from my Storm 9530. Among them Blackberry App world gives me the error:

    I downloaded and reinstalled app world several times that I can count to no effect. I rebooted my phone, returned my service books and re-entered my THS several times, and it's not helping.

    In fact, I understood the question myself. Apparently when it is attached to the WIFI, Blackberry App World does not want to connect. When WIFI is off (or out of range) and I use Verizon EVDO network, App World works fine. The RIM should be looking at why App World will not work on a WIFI connection.

    I am trying to buy a few apps through app world. I have the paypal account, but every time I try to buy something. I get this error:

    I found this post that explains how to fix at the top of the error. I'll try that later because I have something to say in this post.

    what I'm trying to ask in this post, that's why can't buy apps using my debit card? I see that two options are credit cards and Paypal. It's honestly very few options for a device management company wide world like Blackberry.

    I live in India and honestly, there are several features of Blackberry that make me say WTF.. ?

    I'll list some of these features WTF here:

    1. Low autonomy (1230 mAh) - honestly, making mobile a little thicker for a good battery life would have been better.
    2. Cannot use my internet network, which is cheap, on my Mobile.
    3. Even though I have BIS, that the internet can't access my laptop. I need to have more internet network also.
    4. Only two options to purchase an app that is, credit card or paypal. What happens to users who do not have both? (if you guys decided to have your customers simply rich Fellows don't launch then at the market of the middle class of the population).

    Man, I'm really * beep * off... I don't even know that to say this... my friends just listen and laugh.

    Please tell me if I can buy debit cards or not?

    PS: In addition to the features above of WTF, I love my torch BB 9860 because of its design and of course the motion detector. Many times it is run out of battery and I saw this mobile Virgin displayed to feel the beautiful design. (Waiting for an update soon to fix the bug of battery life)

    Payment for app purchases depends on several factors, very few of them controlled by BlackBerry. If BlackBerry had his way, you would be able to walk into your local convenience store and buy an app with money. Many factors, including government restrictions, decide how you can pay.

    2. make sure that you connect to AppWorld on a WiFi connection. It has worked for some.

    3. on OS5 BlackBerrys, go to Options, Advanced Options, TCP/IP. Select the AFN which is the first area. Under this
    Next type Internet APN. Save it and it will work.
    On the BlackBerry OS6 and 7, go to Options > device, down advanced system settings. Go to TCP IP. Select the first box and next to the AFN of type 'Internet '. Your BlackBerry ID will be downloaded. It will ask you to reboot your device, do, and if you then it in your App World > MyWorld, it invites you to a blue screen, where you need to connect.

    Well, a few days ago RIM BlackBerry faced such a problem with the new BlackBerry App world.

    But still, there is an alternative.

    Connect your device with the USB cable to activate Internet computer laptop / desktop, then click on the following link:

    http://appworld.BlackBerry.com/WebStore/

    At the top right, there is a sign in option, the connection with your Blackberry ID.

    And now, you can download the app even through your laptop/desktop computer for your device.

    If you always want to do directly with your device, then keep trying by clicking Yes on the update of BlackBerry ID, once it is made 100% your device will restart and will allow you to download directly via your device as well.

    Clear Cache BlackBerry World

    Reset

    Warm reboot

    If you use the wifi try mobile, or vice versa

    If none of the above solves the problem, the error message can give you something to go.

    The radio refers to radio unit which allows the talk to the network, the phone callse, etc..  You must go to manage connections and turn on the Mobile network.  You also need a data plan in order to use the AppWorld.

    Hi, I hope someone can help out me! My app world telling me "an error has occurred please try again later ' and everytime I try to log on it does the same thing. I tried to create a new I.D. but it still does not work, I even tried to delete the app world n re download, but it always does the same thing please help!

    Annoyingly, I had this exact problem happening for weeks, I've been looking around and couldn't find any information to help me. Then today a few other applications do not work either, so I looked into it abit more to try to understand what might be preventing them to connect.

    It turns out that my time had advanced sort 1 additional day (so rather than it be Friday as it should have, it showed as on Saturdays). After the change of this return, everything could connect again.

    Not sure if this is a solution for everyone (or anyone), but I have not seen it mentioned and this is my question, it seems.
