  There appears to be variability, but updates are supposed to be controlled by the carrier. For GSM devices, it is the SIM card located in the unit. If you have a BlackBerry brand, your upgrade is controlled by the carrier. If you have a BlackBerry or Amazon store brand device, it is possible to get the upgrade pushed directly from BlackBerry.

  There are different things, you can try for an OTA update or through the link: remove SIM. Use the SIM of another carrier.   If your operator has published the upgrade and you do not see if you can download carrier and install PC; If not, talk to your operator.

  Other alternatives are Knowyou and Autoloaders. Search. If you try, you should read the instructions carefully.

• Cannot send or receive text messages to blackBerry Q10 apply after update s/w on Q10

  After apply software version 10.1.0.4181 (size 6 MB) on my Q10, I can no longer send or receive text messages, pls help. At first, I thought that the text messages were only reduced, but I'm unable to send, receive or open any previous cat. I rebooted the device several times, including removing the battery. When you try to make a text message, system seems to be stuck on the last message received yesterday and I am unable to open the chat session, to answer, to compose. I can't dial any contact, neither able to receive text messages. PLs help!

  I removed my battery again, this time left aside for 5 minutes. SMS now works again. (previously about 2 min)

  However, the problem that I have been experincing, I had before, where I can not send sms message. I think I may have hit a hot key and basically does not allow you to send a message.   Ive updated the OS 3 times now since Ive had this phone and the last being 10.2.1.2977 which was released 17 MB a couple of days.

  problem is every time Ive updated the operating system each single message notification since I bought the phone and back on the phone for facebook. last time that I deleted them again there are nearly 8,000 to remove and it took an eternity as the only way I could find to remove them was one by one and scroll to the bottom. If I have highlithted more than 50 at a time they are there just any deleted.

  someone please tell me there is an easier way to remove all as I assume there will be more than 9000 now.

  I don't have Facebook, but normally, when you are in the hub, choose Facebook, then you will see that Facebook messages in the hub.

  Then tap and hold a date and select "delete prior". To delete all before this date.

  Try different helmet "well known." If those who still fail in your device (but work well in another device), then the deduction becomes one of the devices, which of course we cannot do something internet remotely.   Via the official methods on the device (which is what I'm guessing that you have agreed), it is not supposed to erase your data. But nothing is impossible... where the importance of backups that is initiated by the user, in order to protect their valuable data. Based on what you say, unless you did some other backup before this happened, then your data are now gone and you have learned a valuable lesson (if painful) - there are two kinds of computer users, those who have lost data and those who will be. Backups, like insurance, are not a reagent or an optional activity.

• BlackBerry Q10 My BBQ10 deleted my photos and my videos!

  This is the second time that happens in 2 months!

  I take photos and videos with my Blackberry Q10. The next day, I take a quick glance: everything is removed! All that I've got are a couple of old photos and 3 photos transferred from my computer.

  All my videos are deleted.

  I have had no updates on my phone, I don't download anything new in the last few months.

• BlackBerry Blackberry Q10 Assistant on automatically - keyboard does not work

  I have my phone Blackberry Q10 now for 1 month, and since a few days the problem has turned up, randomly Blackberry companion light automatically.   Have you tried pulling the battery for a few minutes?

  If it does not please re install the software via BlackBerry link but make a backup first if you want to keep your data.

• BBM blackBerry Q10 pine got changed

  My problem with the BBM Pin code is as follows - a few years ago I had the BlackBerry 9900, and I got a pine BBM assigned to this device. Later, this device was physically destroyed and I started to use BBM on Samsung Galaxy (the same PIN BBM).

  Recently, I purchased BlackBerry Q10 and started using BBM with the same PIN (from BlackBerry 9900). It wasn't a problem, until that I've updated BBM a few days ago and then I noticed that my BBM pin has changed.

  Does anyone know why it happened and what to do with this issue? I mean, finally, I will create a list of contacts with my new BBM PIN code, but there is no guarantee that this change suddenly won't happen again.

  Good question, but so many numbers makes me headache lol just kidding. Unfortunately, this is not how it works. Different way with numbers of mail or telephone in our map. Blackberry PIN is connected with a single device and cannot be moved to another device. Your previous BBM with 123456 contacts are safe and always with you in your new PIN BBM 654321. To your new customers/friends you must inform your PIN or invite them.

  Technology can create something new. You can always tell them your new pin code otherwise you must continue to use your old device.
