• Keyboard for Smartphones blackBerry with three languages + other question

  Hello, question about the keyboard. I've used for several years, both physical KB (z30) virtual bb10 KB (passport - best physics kb). Something that both got kb was very well the ability to write in several languages at the same time, in the sentence, and the Ko magically would correctly identify what language I was using and could give me any suggestions according to this and more important still, if one has been written in English but then type something in my second or third language , will not auto correct. Now, I have a private and I have these two questions:
  1. - I can not type in several languages at the same time without changing the language first. I put the three I use most, but all the suggestions and auto correct options are in the main language only. I'm surprised because this has been well implemented with bb10 and yet a BlackBerry smartphone. Any suggestion?
  2 - for some reason, in mid sentence, a word would have the first capital letter, just the option in the space bar is the same word I wrote, but with a capital letter. Boring.

  Sorry for the late reply, I didn't know you posted a suggestion... I had put everything in settings multilingual, but did not work. However apparently, in android, there's the thing that I found in another forum so let me add here... I followed these instructions step by step and now I have a kb truly multilingual, with automatic detection... some steps I've done it before with no luck but to do all in sequence... If you previously installed the multilanguage, delete it and start from scratch:

  1. install and activate the BlackBerry keyboard
  * Go to the language and entry
  * Go to "default keyboard / current keyboard", press "configure the inputs.
  method' and activate the BlackBerry keyboard
  * Select BlackBerry keyboard as default keyboard

  2 configure the keyboard
  * Under the keyboard and input methods, tap on the BlackBerry keyboard
  * Press on multilingual keyboard
  * Choose your main language (which is in German) and the secondary
  language (IE. US English)
  * Press on save at the top right and click on "activate now".
  * You will now see a dialog language. Disable 'language use of the system '.

  AND NOW COMES THE BIG THING:
  * In the language list that is displayed, you will notice that your
  main language is listed TWICE (in my case GERMAN and just below a
  second GERMAN. Select the SECOND ENTRY and DO NOT select your
  language school (in my case English of the United States) in the list.
  * Press return to save the configuration

  • NOT universally available in Western Canada
  • not offered on the site of bb in white (when I click on the white color then the bold 9900 faints as an option to purchase)
  • not available mobile wind (only in black)
  • quoted on ebay package brand new, open, not damaged between $ 500 and $ 800 and a seller Ebay says NOT AVAILABLE for CANADA

  Q1: What are the main differences between the different holders of are the frequencies that carriers use to 3G.  So, if buy you one on eBay you may be limited on BOARD and get 3G data speeds.

• Disable "back" command to the mouse 3 button, "the wheel" - click.

  Since as long as I remember the mouse 3 button on my Logitech MX518 has the following function:
  (1) when an unlink element is pressed, nothing happens
  (2) by pressing a link; This link opens in a new tab.

  Sometimes in the past 6 months the new behaviors introduced as follows:

  The part boring here is that if I miss-click on a link, the current tab load the last page visited, which kind of the opposite effect, I want to. I want to open a link in a new tab and stay on the current page I read.

  (1) this is a feature of Firefox (or maybe behaviors specific site?) and if so, what was it introduced?
  (2) can I turn off this feature, for example, subject: config?

  You may have a problem with the mousewheel.*.action prefs and Firefox thinks you want to go back in the history of the tab.

  If it works, try the steps and check them off below.

  (a) check the connection of the mouse. If the mouse is connected via a USB port, make sure that the cable is not loose. Push the USB connector to make sure it is sitting comfortably. If the mouse has an older serial port connection, make sure that the connector has not become loose and check the pins of the serial port for any signs of damage.

  (b) plug the mouse into a different port on the computer and test. The port may be damaged or the computer can recognize is no longer the mouse into this port.

  (c) inspect the cord of the mouse for signs of damage and make sure that the cord has not broken loose from the end of the USB connector or the mouse itself. If the mouse wire has been broken or the wires are are spare at each end, the mouse may need to be replaced.

  (d) clean the mouse. A mouse that uses a ball to track needs frequent cleaning. Unscrew the plastic ring on the underside of the mouse in the direction indicated by the arrows on the mouse. Remove the mouse ball and clean the ball and inside the mouse, paying special attention to the small roller inside the mouse. Use a cotton swab or a clean non fluffy towel and a small amount of rubbing alcohol. Let the parts dry, then reassemble the mouse. It should run more smoothly.

  (e) check the mouse settings. Click on the 'Start' button on the computer, and then click "Control Panel." Depending on the operating system, you may need to click "Settings" first go to the "Control Panel". Click on "mouse". Review the settings on the various tabs to see if changes are needed to solve the problems.

  (f) uninstall all hardware or software newly added. Check the performance of the mouse. If the problem is resolved, there may be a conflict with the mouse and the new program or hardware.

  (g) put end to the program you are working and you restart the computer. If a user clicks on the mouse too many times in quick succession, the memory of the computer may freeze, which in turn freezes the mouse.

  (h) examine the lock button for a mouse integrated on a laptop. If the mouse stops working, we can get key lock, usually located just above the mouse button. Press the button to unlock.

  If the previous step fails then you can go ahead and return the mouse to get a new one, as there may be a problem with the mouse itself because it is news.

• BlackBerry Z10 home (task) screen Question

  Just updated to the new OS 10.3.2 last night.  The homescreen (task) used to is available only when there is active apps running in the background and once all applications have been closed, he returned to screen the applications or Hub, and the homescreen (tasks) would disappear.  Now, the new operating system always keeps the homescreen (tasks) all the time (even when I slide up to unlock the phone) and I have to manually drag to make the apps or HUB screen appear.  Question, is there a setting that will return the previous behavior?  Not really a technical problem, but more than one anoyance.

• BlackBerry personal passport, work Z30 - Questions before I make begins.

  My Q is on how to better implement my new passport (personal Sim) with Z30 (working Sim).

  GOAL - have all things running through my passport (personal Sim) any transfer of calls to Z30 (Sim works) because I only use calls for communication with the work. (Can connect in the future the work email) for now it is ok on Z30.

  History - receive a Z30 of work about 4 months (LOVED IT!).  I have basically everything (emails, social networking, applications) who are related to it and gave it a test drive, including the mixture.  Company's BES so I turn back on (personal work) BONE (working Sim) device.  I have a life on my (personal Sim) and need to keep the number (daily driver).  I have only to say 12-15 by phone with loads of emails to a large company (working SIM).

  I want to undo what I've done with the Z30 (emails, social applications, which should be easy) but Blend?. If I decide in the future get the emails from work to my personal HUB it will affect the passport and the mixture too (BES)?  Not sure if I want to keep the entire staff on the working device or working on the personal device. Can you use 2 BB phones on the same mixture for 1 PC?  Is not a question continue to have e-mail sent to (work Sim) but if BES, is that I think that it is, this shouldn't be a problem.

  So my options are

  1 cancel everything and use Passport for personal use, personal mix, 1 PC. Z30 for work so that the calls redirection to Passport and no work Blend.

  2 (I hope) - passport to use for personal use, with BES sent up the personal phone for email to work. Calls forward since Z30 passport and use of mixture if possilbe as I do on Z30 right now.

  Reason is 95% of personal time communication with the work of 5%.  Unless I get a dual sim phone but I'm back for Blackberry and should not otherwise!

  You do _screen a subclass of the screen, and the substitution of navigationClick in the subclass. Something like this might work:

  MainScreen _screen = new MainScreen() {
      protected boolean navigationClick(int status, int time) {

  UiApplication does not implement navigationClick (int, int), which explains why you receive this warning.

• BlackBerry Smartphones New user's question. Attachment / broadcasting a connection

  So I a new user question that I didn't see it in the manual for the "BOLD".

  I know that you can attach the "BOLD" blackberry via bluetooth and using the usb cable.

  The question is can I just broadcast using the phone to create a wireless connection, can I use it with a laptop as the iphone?

  Yes... I couldn't believe the improvement!  Just make sure you adjust it... some have said they have waited until the next day and adjusted after that screen had settled!
