BlackBerry, need help Urgent network connection problem

Hi all

I put an application Blackberry OS 6 and 7 of the OS, this application uses the salesforce connection and its other api calls.

My application works well here in India, but when I deliver it to the customer I had connection timeout error (in the United States). I tried all the string connection possible but still unable to solve the problem at my end.

Can someone help me with this problem?

Its very urgent. I need to connect via WAP2 and the code for my connection parameter string is:

"

Dim connectionString As String ="";

String carrierUid = getCarrierBIBSUid();
String wap2 = getWAP2ServiceRecord();
If (carrierUid! = null) {}
Otherwise, use the Uid to build a valid transport BIBS
request
Logger.logEventInfo ("uid is:" + carrierUid);
connectionString = '; deviceside = false; connectionUID ="
+ carrierUid + ";". " » ;
} ElseIf (wap2! = null) {}
connectionString = '; deviceside = true; connectionUID =' + wap2;
} else {}
A carrier coverage, but not the BIBS. So use TCP of the carrier
network
Logger.logEventInfo ("no Uid");
connectionString = '; deviceside = true;
}

return connectionString;

"

the definations of function are:

"

private static String getCarrierBIBSUid() {}
Reviews [ServiceRecord] is ServiceBook.getSB () .getRecords ();.

for (int i = 0; i)< records.length;="" i++)="">
If (records [i] .getCid () .toLowerCase () .equals ("ippp")) {}
If (records [i] .getName () .toLowerCase () .indexOf ("bibs") > = 0) {}
Records return [i] .getUid ();
}
}
}

Returns a null value.
}

private static String getWAP2ServiceRecord() {}
Full book sb = ServiceBook.getSB ();
Reviews [] ServiceRecord = sb.findRecordsByCid ("WPTCP");
String uid = null;
for (int i = 0; i)< records.length;="" i++)="">
Search through all records of service to find the
valid non-Wi-Fi and non - MMS
Booklet of WAP 2.0 Gateway Service.
If (records [i] .isValid () &! records [i] .isDisabled ()) {}
If (records [i] .getUid ()! = null)
& records [i] .getUid () .length ()! = 0) {}
If ((records [i] .getCid () .toLowerCase () .indexOf ("wptcp")! = - 1))
& (records [i] .getUid () .toLowerCase)
.indexOf("wifi") is - 1).
& (records [i] .getUid () .toLowerCase)
.indexOf ("mms") ==-1)) {}
UID = records [i] .getUid ();
break;
}
}
}
}
If (uid! = null) {}
Open a connection WAP 2
Returns the uid;
} else {}
Consider another action transport or alternative.
Returns a null value.
}

}

"

I get "unable to select the descriptor of adequate transport for the url:

"https://login.salesforce.com/services/oauth2/token ...". "

any help is appreciated

Thank you

Manish Kumar

Hi all

I solved the problem.

My connection setting requires '; EndToEndDesired' for HTTPS request (although it works for me without this parameter). I tested the app using deviceanywhere and after the addition of this application of the setting run perfectly.

connectionString = '; deviceside = true; connectionUID =' + wap2
+ "; EndToEndDesired ';

Thank you for your comment stone

I was actually using reproductive WAP2.

Version of the client OS is BB OS 7 (on the Torch 2 9810)

  • Wireless network connection problem

    Nice day

    I have a wireless network connection problem and I ask for help to resolve.
    What surprises me that this problem appeared suddenly, I used to connect to the WIFI correctly but two days ago my laptop could not connect to the WIFI and more.

    Other devices and computers connect with success so I think that the problem in my laptop.
    I don't have any changes on my laptop or windows, antivirus, drivers... updates or installed new software.
    Troubleshooting of Windows detected 'router or access point issues '.
    -Reset the router does not resolve the problem
    -Network adapter is enabled.
    -State of wireless card "working properly" and "update".

    I read a solution on this site, which was to change the properties of the wireless adapter, but the changes mentioned does not appear in the pilot of my laptop...

    * My laptop info. :
    DELL INSPIRON 3521
    Windows 7-64 bit
    Dell WIreless 1703 802.11b/g/n(5.2GHz)

    Sorry for this long to make, I appreciated all the help.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hello

    Have you tried to reset your laptop to a time before this issue started with a Windows 7 Restore Point?  If it is a parameter change or software this restore point can help solve what is at the origin of the problem.

    I'd also, of course, when you are resetting the router, to make sure that you let it sit for at least 30 seconds to a minute before plugging power back in.  You may need to do a few times to clear his memory to be able to connect.

    In addition, have updated the drivers for the wireless card?  What version of driver currently installed in the system?  You can consult our support site, enter your serial number and click on drivers & Downloads to find the driver for your wireless card.

    Finally, have you tried to empty the wireless profiles that are currently stored in your system?   If you delete the profile current wireless (which is to control your connection to the router), reboot your system, and try to reconnect Windows will rebuild the profile and hopefully allow you to log in again.

    I would like to know if any of this helps.  To help resolve this more effectively please click on my user name Dell Todd and send me a private message with the Number of Dell Service from your system.  Please keep all troubleshooting and discussions on this thread open so that others can find the information they need to solve their problems.

I checked Device Manager and as my adapter teredo tunnel Microsoft generally has 10 code, all my drivers say it is fully updated, also idk if it is connected but have avast antivirus it says my firewall is disabled and it wont not put me on, can someone please help

    Hello

    Thanks for posting your question on the Forum of the Microsoft community.

    I would be grateful if you can provide us with the following information to help us better understand the issue.

    1. Did you do last changes made on your computer before this problem?
    2. You are able to connect to the internet with the cable connected to the modem?

    A Code 10 error is generated in the Device Manager in one of the following situations:

    • Device Manager cannot start the device.
    • One of the pilots who needs the unit does not start.

    The Device Manager has insufficient information to recognize the error that spread upwards by the device driver.

    Note: In this case, the error Code 10 can be a very generic message indicating some sort of unspecified driver or device problem.

    If it helps, try the methods and see them below.

    Method 1

    Step 1

    Try to run in the troubleshooter to build designated as network troubleshooting.

  • Home wireless network connection problems

    What should I do if I normally connect to the wireless network does not appear?  It is not a network card problem, because I can connect to other wireless and school and other places.  I tried to reset the router, ping and by unplugging and seeing what I could understand on the computer at home, but nothing does.  Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Hello

    Have you tried other computers to connect to your router? You use both wire and wireless
    connection?

    Unplug the modem and Router 3 + minutes. And then reconnect the modem - when it is running
    Plug in the router - when it is running - restart the computer. This is known as a hard reset.

    Check with your router manufacturer support.

    Failure - there are network connectivity problems, or this peer has the support of different encryption (AES / non - AES software)

    This highway is part of a cluster, but is not the master of the configuration. Configuration changes made on this highway may be lost. More information about the Clustering help page.
    !
    What is the solution to fix it?
    Locally add cluster of highway or having to make cluster of 4 motorway between locations?

    How far are the peers of the highway on the other, what is the round trip time?  This should be within 30ms.

    Can you confirm that all highways in the cluster have the same keys option installed on all peers, as it is a requirement, call license quantities can be different, but the features option enable/disable keys must be the same.  Additionally, make sure that the version of the software installed is the same, that you have a version mismatch or could be active where encryption the other not.

    Regarding the "this highway is part of a cluster, but is not the master of the configuration... '. "this message is normal for a node that is not the master, as it is said just only make changes on the master, since all changes on the slave will be replaced by the master.

    Suggest you watch on creation of Cluster Expressway and maintenance Deployment Guide (X8.8) in case you have not yet.

  • Network connectivity problem, it must be disconnected at random

    Original title: connectivity problem

    connectivity problem: under troubleshooting is said: problem with nearby connections... the computer disconnects Internet after 45-60 minutes - it closes down also, usually when I repair as administrator, I can connect to internet, but still a time when left almost an hour without using the internet disconnects?

    Hi Kvhan,

    1. are you using cable or wireless network?

    2 have you made changes on the computer before this problem?

    This problem can occur because of network settings, try the following methods and check if it helps.

    Method 1:

    Run the network troubleshooter utility.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/using-the-network-troubleshooter-in-Windows-7

    Method 2:

    This problem can occur if authentication enable IEEE 802. 1 X for this network checkbox is enabled. If this box is checked, but there is no server to authenticate the connection is interrupted. If you turn on the wireless network connection, it disconnects again after a short period.

    To disable authentication IEEE 802. 1 X, follow these steps:

    a. Click Start, type ncpa.cpl, and then press ENTER.

    b. right click on your wireless network connection, then click Properties.

    c. click the wireless networks tab.

    d. under preferred networks, click your wireless network, and then click Properties.

    e. click on the Authentication tab, click to clear the authentication enable IEEE 802. 1 X for this network check box and then click OK twice.

  • With device log Insight network connectivity problem

    We manage the virtual appliance 1.0 - beta and I noticed that the virtual appliance will fall the network periodically for a short period. I had constant pings, it will and it will just stop respond for anywhere from a few seconds to several minutes. You can also see in the capture where the data is missing in the user interface of screen attached. I know that we are not the problems with our ESXi hosts or dvSwitch because there are many other virtual machines running on the same host ESXi and same VLAN and they are not network connectivity problems. Does anyone else know this?

    Sounds like a network problem. Perhaps you have a dual IP / MAC address on the network? Do you perhaps have a routing problem on the network log Insight's sitting on that?

    Can you generate a bundle of support and download the instructions here: http://kb.vmware.com/kb/100852 (no need to SR just create a file called mvanbeck)
