BlackBerry NEW COMPUTER software - PASSPORT COMPLETE OUTLOOK CONTACTS

I think I stumbled on this, the last time I got a new laptop and does not remember how he dressed!  I hope someone can give me help...

I downloaded OFFICE 365 (OUTLOOK 2013) and BLACKBERRY CONNECTION & MIX on my new laptop computer.  I'm sure that I created the SNYC correctly but the contacts in my passport will not fill my OUTLOOK contacts.  Although I put a test contact in OUTLOOK on my laptop and it sync with my Pasport, without problem.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what I did wrong?  I have a vague feeling that it is something to do with the appearance of the BB OS BYOD.

Thanks in advance...

Thanks for your response and I am sorry that I forgot to post how I have this situation rectified.

Somehow Gmail has all my contacts (please do not ask because I have no idea how they got there) I followed the Gmail instructions that turned them into an Excel spreadsheet, and then imported journal in Outlook.  Once the contacts in Outlook, the synchronization process worked as it always has.

I don't know there is a much more correct effiecent way to do this, but for now I "dodged a bullet".

  • BlackBerry Smartphones to BB Bold 9780 Outlook Contacts synchronization problem

A few weeks ago, when I started to sync my Outlook Contacts to my BB, a message window pops up letting me know that RIM is no more using the same method to do.  Since then, I was unable to carry out a synchronization.

When I start a synchronization, first of all, he said "Have information of the State of the BB address book" and reads all of the records quickly, then he said "Have information state of Outlook Contacts" and reads all of the records quickly. After that, he said 'get more information state of Outlook Contacts", but underneath, what is said"Card reading 1", then"read 2 records", etc as there are records.  She does very slowly, as it takes 20 minutes to read 50 records and I have 1900 records.

    I called T-Mobile, they couldn't help me.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the desktop software.  I have updated the software of BB. None of these permits.

Last night, I left my BB plugged to the computer at night to see if she would complement all.  In the morning, the BB Desktop Software had closed and the contacts were not properly synchronized.

Help!  I need contacts on my phone.

Hi - I'm the one who reported the problem at first.  I found the CD Moose comes with the phone and installed the old version 6.0 of the BB Desktop software.  My Outlook Contacts now synchronize very well, as they did before.  This seems to have solved the problem.  Maybe the other person with the same problem can do the same thing.  The other thread has a link to older versions of the software, but I hesitated to use because he said it was for Verizon and I have T-Mobile, but if I could not find my old CD, I would have given a trial.  I mention this just in case you do not have the CD.  Many thanks to those who helped and good luck to others with this issue.

  • BlackBerry new computer, old blackberry Smartphones

I had to erase everything on my computer and put it back to nine because of a matter related non-blackberry.  now, I had to reinstall the software for my blackberry on it.  I don't remember all the settings, but I share everything via outlook.  my blackberry is out of date on my calendar and contacts that I could return to my computer in outlook.  How can I sync my blackberry is back with my computer and make sure that my blackberry settings win in my calendar and contacts?  or is this even possible?

It is possible. You will need configure the synchronization in the Desktop Manager for "handheld wins." Look for this setting in the configuration of the synchronization.

Do sync and when successful, don't forget to return to "notify me" or all the items that you enter directly in Outlook will be synchronized to your BlackBerry.

  • Old e-mail folders Outlook Import/Export and content to new computer

bought a new computer HP laptop with outlook 2013, have not been able to export my old laptop HP 2010 outlook e-mail folders to outlook 2013 using the export/import functions. is it possible and if so how would run.

If you review the Office/Outlook groups, you would see that Import/Export is rarely recommended.

Assuming that pop e-mail accounts, not Exchange

On the current PC, with closed outlook copy outlook files from media, data in a repository of Documents on the new PC.

Then in Outlook, find and open the data file. You then have options as to what you do with the old data, IE copy in the set of current data files or leave as what.

  • Transfer to a new computer

I assume it must be easy to transfer all information - calendar, contacts, etc. - in a new computer.  HotSync not worked for centuries, but I thought that all I have to do is to install the software on the new computer (which has been done safely), and then import information from the old computer and import the exported .dba file into the new computer software.

But when I do this I get the message "... is not a file from archive Agenda, or the file is corrupted.

    I'd appreciate advice, please.

    original title: lack of RAM

McAfee, unable to update as the only security base 256 and 512 MB of RAM required. As the computer is old and slow it is better to increase the RAM or better to invest in a new computer update. Would appreciate help in this case. Also as I'm pretty computer illiterate, please use the terms that I can follow. Thank you

    Hi Kathleen Almeida,.

Because the computer is old, instead of upgrading the ram, you can buy new computer. I suggest you contact system manufacturer more about if you need to upgrade or buy a new computer.

  • BlackBerry software problems sync Z10 and new computer.

My BB Z10 has many contacts, none of them in the «Local Contacts» account This is to avoid duplicates, I only have my contacts on the BB link account that I use to synchronize with my desktop Outlook. Now, I have replaced the computer and only have contacts on my device.

When I tried to sync with my new computer, it is what is happening. BB link creates a new account link (named after my computer) BB for synchronization. And because there is nothing in this new account and nothing on the computer, no contacts Sync. Apparently the BB link synchronize another account, only local Contacts or the account that he created the first time that you sign in with your new computer.

I tried to put a contact on the Group of local Contacts, and then Resync. This contact was Sync and placed on the computer (Outlook) and on a new account link my device BB.

So I thought that I could just walk-around her by placing all my contacts in my group of local Contacts. I could not find a way to 'select all' and don't feel like using the function "selection much" click on my 900 contacts.

Is there an easy way to solve this problem? Course, the ideal solution would be to synchronize the account I choose. I'm not sure that this is a reasonable request, however. So, I would be happy with the market "copy of local Contacts.

    Thank you very much!!

    Roney

Unfortunately, there is no way that you can select all contacts with just a tap. You should choose the option "Select more" and to highlight the contacts one by one.

Also he by design this Blackberry link will only synchronize the device data associated with the link BB for this computer account.

That means, 1 BB PC link data on the device will not sync with 2 PCs.

  • BlackBerry software melt sync Outlook 2013 Contacts and calendar (installed version)?

With Outlook 2013 (64 bit in any case) Blackberry supports more synchronization with link (apparently and other posts).

I'll buy a passport, if the synchrnoization was incorporated with mixture but not otherwise.

I'm ONLY interested in Contacts and calendar.  I'm a consultant independent and my clients communicate appointments for meetings with Outlook on my PC. I have to be able to synchrnize those with my Smartphone.  I am told, but I have not confirmed that it is possible with a Windows phone.

    Hi @jgrobertson,

@John_Clark is correct, that mixture of BlackBerry allows you to view the data stored on the device using your computer or tablet. It does not support synchronization of data contacts and calendar data. For syncornize these data, you will need to use BlackBerry link for Windows that supports Outlook 2013 64 bit (source).

If you run into issues the first thing I would recommend to ensure that you use the most up to the BlackBerry link version. As long as you are, and a problem occurs always pop by the BlackBerry link discussion Forum and publish a detailed summary of the issue, then you meet the community can help out you! Thank you

  • I have a new computer with windows 7. I need to transfer my emails and contacts from my old computer (windows XP and outlook express) to my new computer. How do I do that?

    both computers are online

It depends on what e-mail program, you will use in Win7. He was not an '' integrated '', as previous versions of Windows.

If you on Windows Live Mail, that would be the answer.

Transfer of data from Outlook Express and Windows Live Mail:

    For Messages:

Copy the * ENTIRE * OE message store folder to a flash drive. (Folders.dbx must be included). Place it on the desktop or another location on the computer using WLMail. Open WLMail and: file | Import | Messages | Microsoft Outlook Express 6, and the point where it was saved.

    Location of OE message store:

In OE: Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.

In Windows XP, Win2K & Win2K3 the OE user files (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder Options icon | Opinion, or in Windows Explorer. Tools | Folder options | View.

    For addresses:

Open the address book in OE and file | Export | Address book (wab) and save it to the desktop. Copy it to a flash drive. Place it on the desktop or another location on the computer using WLMail.

Open the Contacts list in WLMail, (go |) Contacts in the Menu bar) and the file | Import | Address book (wab) Windows and the point where you saved it.

Note: If you use a CD or a DVD instead of a flash drive, after placing on the new machine you must remove the read-only attribute in the properties before you import.

    For the account settings:

In OE: Tools | Accounts, select the account and export it to the desktop. This will be an .iaf file. Copy it to the new computer and WLMail desktop: tools | Accounts and import the settings from the location you saved the.

For specific help with WLMail, ask here, not in this forum.

  • Smartphones blackBerry how to transfer all the data from my BlackBerry/Outlook to new computer

    Nice day

I am currently using a Torch 9800 on my old Dell using Microsoft Outlook 2003.  I just bought a new Dell computer and installed Microsoft Office 2010 with Outlook.  I would like to transfer all my data from my BlackBerry Torch / Outlook to my new computer.

Can I install BlackBerry desktop on my new computer and just sync with my flashlight or do I make a back-up to my old computer and restore the backup file to my new computer?

    Thank you.

It depends on what everything you want moved. You can google for more information about how to transfer all your Outlook, including mail settings and all of your PIM data.

If it's just the calendar, tasks and address book data, then if your BB has everything you want on it, then you can install BDS on the new computer and set up a synchronization one-way system your BB to Outlook to transfer everything in the new perspective. Once it is on both devices settings of two-way synchronization.

I would like to make a backup of your BB before you do any synchronization to a new computer, just in case where you screw up the sync and removes the BB PIM data.
