BlackBerry Passport USB broken, how to make a backup of the contacts?

Hello world

USB broken on Passport, incoming device for extended warranty replacement, need to backup my contacts. Oh and the battery at 9% and does not obviously.

Tried to Bluetooth, passport says that I need to enable Internet Tethering, but Internet Tethering says battery is too low.

Tried by wi - fi, but not backup Blackberry link Wi - Fi (Blackberry Desktop on Windows 7).

The USB absolutely does NOT work. When I plug it in with the original and oldest charger Playbook charger, the display cycles between charge/no display connected to once per second. When it is plugged into a Mac, the drive appears then disappears.

Passport was soaked when I got caught in the rain. Recently updated passport to update to the latest OS10.

Any suggestions?

Thank you

You can try InTouchApp for BlackBerry World contacts. It is very good for the backup of the contacts. Otherwise, if you saved your contacts in your email, then you need not worry, you can synchronize when you set up an account the next time. Good luck with the replacement!

  • How to make a backup of the drivers and applications

I have a HP Pavilion Desktop PC all-in-one 23-B115EA, originally with Windows 8 installed which I have updated to 8.1 of the store.  After a problem, I was advised to create a System Image on an external hard drive, what I've done.  I also have a recovery disk including the recovery on a USB Partition and a new Restore Point.

The reason why I write, is that what follows has been also sugested "Furthermore, make a backup of the drivers and Applications.» Still, if the hard drive needs to be replaced, you will need to install all the drivers and perhaps some applications again for which you have this backup. "I don't know how to do on the PC and I was wondering if it was possible.

    Best regards, Mike-01

    Mike, you're welcome.

I know that in the past, there are third-party programs that could back up the drivers, but I could not find one to win 8.1.  With respect to applications, the CD recovery and Image will be all you need.

    Hello

There are different ways to save the date of the android device.
You can use some 3rd party backup applications (check the Google game store for available applications), or you can use the internal Android option to save the data, application, Wifi passwords and other settings to google's servers.

This option can be found in Apps App-> settings-> & backup restore

    My question is:

Can any folk tell me specific steps (order by order) to back up a single instance of the database in Oracle with RMAN?

    Thank you.

Yes, you can restore and recover the backup, but not at the moment. You will only be able to restore and recover at the time of your backup.

    For example.

If you take backup (mount point with no mode of journal archive) at 06:00 and your grave database crashes at 21:00, you will be able to restore and recover until 06:00. You will find all the changes made to the database between 06:00 and 21:00.

If you want your database to recover until 9 PM or until a point in time, then you must put your database in log mode archive, and then save the archives.

  • How to make a backup of the health and activity data?

    Hello

I would like to do a fresh install on my iPhone version 6s 9.3 to 9.3.2. My question is how can I save only the data of health and activity?

I couldn't find any option in iTunes or iCloud backup specific applications. Please notify.

    -Salah

    Hi Salah

It is not currently possible to only back up data of health and activity through Apple backup and restore process.

Health and activity - as well as other sensitive (like password) information - data are included in encrypted iPhone backups.

It is possible to exclude these data from a backup (by a backup encrypted United Nationsvia iTunes), but it is not possible to only backup and restore sensitive data.

  • How to make a backup of the application settings to switch to the new icloud/Apple account?

Hi there, hope someone can help me with this:

My son (10yo) has an iPod Touch - he had for a time signed in my wife iCloud account (so that actually, she sees and OKs all the apps he wants to put on there etc.

We would like for him to have his own account (linked to our under family settings) but if we create that and connect to the iPod with it will be the apps all disappear?

In fact, there is less of a problem concerning the applications themselves (most could be obtained under family sharing) but the associated data - game progress, pictures taken etc.

Here are some steps we can take to save this kind of thing and then get the iPod back about how he is now just under his account of 'nine '?

    Thank you for the pointers.

    Maybe yo can do this:

  • How to make a backup of the data of mounted drives

I am currently running Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise and attempt to use Microsoft Backup Server version 1.0 to the backup of files/folders specific to both local drives and the drives that were mounted from other servers.  My problem is when I set up the backup to run, none of the mounted drives are available in the backup utility as a choice for me to select the backup files from.

That's how the utility was designed?  If so, what other options I have to backup of disks folders/files the and mounted on this server?

    Hello

Your question of Windows is more complex than what is generally answered in the Microsoft Answers forums. It is better suited for the public on the TechNet site. Please post your question in the below link: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/windowsbackup/threads

  • How to make a backup of my contacts list to gmail

I just bought my phone last week. I am able to configure usb PC-telephone connection and see different folders, (no music folder anywhere, but that's another debate). I want to backup my contacts Gmail and found instructions to do so. Here is what happens...

contacts > menu > more > import/export > import contacts from: SD card > create contact under account > [email protected]

Then I get the message card SD scan has no reason "no vCard file on the card.

When connected to PC via the USB port on the structure of the file is:

    . Android_secure

    -Android

    -data

    com.google.Android.apps.Genie.geniewidget.News - content-cache

    -com.googlle.android.apps.maps

    cache

    debugging

    TestData

    -dcim

    . MIS

    .thumbnails

    Camera

    images

    newspapers

    LOST. DIR

    videos

First of all, aren't your contacts already in your account Gmail account or are telephone contacts?

What you want to do is export your contacts to SD card not matter.  Once export you it to the SD card there will be a file at the root of the SD card, called "contact backups.vcf.  You can transfer this file to your desktop on your computer.  Now, log in to your Gmail account on the computer, and import this file.  I hope this helps.

  • Help! How to make a backup of the files?

Hello! I have a T61 with vista installed. I want to take backup of my files and settings. How can I do? I've heard of the Thinkvantage tool - Rescue and Recovery, but it shows my phone. I guess it has not been installed on it. Although other tools like Client Security soln, productivity Center, Power manager are installed.

How can I me rescue and recovery tool?

Also, how much space the backup care... .i want to know because I will use my HD to store the backup.

P.S.: No longer doubt... What is the specialty of the blue thinkvantage button... What is his role?

I am new to mobile phones... and afraid to try to use it... any help will be much appreciated!

Main ThinkVantage Tools page is here: http://www.lenovo.com/thinkvantage

    You can download R & R here:

    http://www-307.IBM.com/PC/support/site.WSS/MIGR-4Q2QAK.html

Also, please read the link at the bottom of this page for reasons of R & R and the Guide deployment for more information.

When you run Windows, you can push the blue ThinkVantage button and that should run the application Productivity Center.  This is a popup window that is a helper.

When you first power on the ThinkPad and you see the screen splash ThinkVantage message, if you press the blue ThinkVantage button at this time you will launch in the zone of rescue & recovery of funds.  (Of course, after having installed R & R).    The screen pre R & R area resembles an environment of pre-seed windows you can start to where the operating system is no longer available or you cannot start to it.  The R & R pre screen area, you can restore your system from one of your saved backups.
