My z10 is perfect, everything is OK and I happy when it is used, but the other device is terrible (q10), I lost all data every time that reset it and reset when the led color is blue (z10 reset is red), when I wipe two device, z10 using the menu option and is not q10, I have searched a lot of Google but not found one certainly answer , so please tell me: my q10 is a test-phone for dev and not for sale?   Thank you for your help. I was scared, it was the only way to get it back, and I also felt that it was a lot of trouble. I found an app that was free in the blackberry world called docushortcut that allows to make the shortcut icons and choose what they watch as I installed it and tried it... has been able to connect my texts with him through my blackberry hub... it comes with a red light on the corner, but at least I can access my texts quickly without sifting through hub. Its a little easier to try to hit this small envelope at the bottom of the screen lol. Thank you amel

  Seriously I need your help fast!  Im going first on Saturday and my Blackberry Bold 9900 won't turn on!  A few days ago my Blackberry battery emptied very quickly! I used to charge it all night and then when I woke up it's only 3/4 battery left! STRANGE! But anyway, then I when I went to school I texted my classmates that I am at school. I used to put my phone in to school. And when I got out, I discovered a STRANGE surprise! My phone would not turn!  Very well, I came home and I loaded all day well nearly! I'm used to it until today. A with my mated said because I load it too much on the night and a blackberry takes about 3 hours to recharge, it can . So I loaded the morning. I had 1/4 left! So I've dealt with him and went to school. When I arrived home and are charged my phone it not light. So yes it died completely! As always.  But then I left it loads for a time came it turned on and the red LED flashes. So I left up to now to load, but when I try to start the same thing is happening that shows a red LED! I took out the battery and waited 10 seconds, but still nothing happens! PLEASE

  I ONCE HAD A REQUEST THAT I THOUGHT CAUSED THE PROBLEM I REMOVED IT TUESDAY RESTARTED THE PHONE AND NOTHING HAVEN'T CHANGED SINCE THEN, PLEASE HELP ME!

  Hello and welcome to the community!

  Please try this sequence... Note that, throughout the whole 4h15m process, your BB should stay connected to a good charger (not the USB PC):

  1. With battery, connect your BB to the wall charger
  2. Leave it alone for 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the screen not
  3. Remove the battery
  4. Wait 15 minutes
  5. Insert the battery
  6. Wait another 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the screen not

  This has been known to "revive" some BBs.

  It is also possible that your battery or BB has encountered a problem... to test, this sequence is necessary:

  1. Get a known good and already fully charge battery... use it in your BB and see what happens
  2. Get access to a BB good and the same known... use your battery in there and see what happens

  The results of this will show if your BB or your battery that has the problem.

  I was wondering if someone could help I have tried everything to fix the error 552 on my curve 8520 but nothing works, and now the phone will not connect to my laptop, I tried apploader now it says device current is updated, office says unable to connect to the device (from the outset) software and the phone does nothing except sitting on a white screen with "software reloading 552" written on it.

  Could someone please help?

  As your device does not detect that you can try the Application loader to force detection of your device to load the operating system, please see the Knowledge Base Article:

  KB10144 : How to force detect the BlackBerry smartphone using the Application Loader

   

  But remember, in this process, you will lose all data in your device, I hope you have your backup.

  Further information: KB18751 : error "Reload Software: 552" appears on the smart phone BlackBerry.

  Hiya since I up graded world 6 blackberry app on my phone version, most of the time it doesn't allow me to him at all and when I get manage to get it does not work properly, I have major problems telling me unable to act etc, the old version was much better than this one and I lost all my downloaded items once installed Why is this. And cannot address the question please. I know I'm not the only one having these problems with it. Most of my friends do too, how can I watch or check stuff out if she continues to play like this, thank you

  You have a few things in there, but I'll start with this. These forums are not a formal support of the RIM channel. They are rather a user forum where volunteers try to troubleshoot other kind souls at best. Therefore, what you get here is in no way part of your official support (which you can get from your wireless service provider that can degenerate officially your case in RIM if necessary).

  Accurate and complete error messages are always better... There are some things to look for, but no research is effective without the specific error message, including any punctuation.

  When you installed the new AppWorld, have you lost all your downloaded 'items'? What, exactly, do you mean by "objects"? How, exactly, do you know they're gone? What, exactly do you have installed? (see there no such thing as AW v6).

  I stopped using the service blackberry months ago and continued to use wireless internet. All the app except bbm and email services were working, but all of a sudden since yesterday im unable to use internet. I can't use the same browser, it does not work. Internet WiFi and works very well. The phone connects to the wifi, but said always internet is not available. ------, Ive has rebooted, changed quite sims. Someone help me pls.

  You must have BlackBerry data Plan for sure to allow BBM, push e-mail and other services provided by BlackBerry. You can call your BlackBerry data Plan Provider enabled for your account.

  My 8520 went in the hand washing and had good soaking! At out the battery, dried everything in airing cupboard with rice. First on reboot scrool doesn't work after that 3 weeks, that she's alive again screen too dark, but I do not see... also brands of water inside the screen

• BlackBerry 8220 Blackberry Smartphones help please!

  I have a new Blackberry 8220 its open from TMobile and it just turns off by itself.

  There the BlackBerry Handheld Software v4.6.0.278 (Indosat) and before I installed it I deleted the file 'net_rim_tmo_five.cod '. (This is the one I have now, already tried like 4 or 5)

  The thing is that, with NO SIM it never restarts, and with the SIM card IT will just crazy.

  I tested for more than 5 hours now with no sim card and its balance, with SIM in there just turns off very randomly.

  When it stops, no matter what, I have to remove the battery and put it back again, the Red led lights (Just comes on, not flashing), it starts to boot and then when comes to the white screen, it shuts down again unless I connect it to the charger. Sometimes it starts normally, but then again it stops when you use the phone.

  I read a lot already about this and tried a lot of things, I don't really know if it's a defective battery or if its hardware. May not be the operating system, many tried and wiped out everything after 3 or 4 guides.

  Can someone help me out here?

  EDIT: I forgot to mention that, sometimes, not always, it stops even pluged in charger.

  If you have tried with all operating systems, it is pretty obvious that it isn't a problem with OS. My guess is that there is a problem of radio which is the cause. It is probably a hardware problem and probably not much you can do about it.

  Upgrade to the latest version of the software but the installation froze on "net_rim_vad_engine_resource_no.cod". Desktop Software will now connect not to deviceand she finally shows "app error 200" reset. Any ideas on fixing this?

  I got two blackberry curves, one was my staff and the other was to my job. I keep one of my sync with my office work, but would make backups for my personal phone in a file on the computer. My phone was stolen this weekend and I need to pull the contacts and place them on my work phone. However, when I use the Desktop Manager, it does me not the opportunity to move the pins (as it would usually once I connect one of the devices was) my personal telephone files are all saved to the RPI but I can't open. Please can anyone provide assistance as I have no information from family and friends until I can get back my last backup file of my personal phone. I tried to open the Office Assistant in device manager and switch, but he acknowledges that my work phone device.

  On your work, open the address book and click Menu > General Options and Options. Do you not see the choice it for Syncrozination wireless? Turn that off and then return to connect to the USB and the Office Manager.

  Click Restore > advanced > and on the left pane, you will see file > open and navigate to the most recent IPD backup file and move on.

  Once it reads the file, scroll down on the left side to treat the book data where it is highlighted. Press the arrow to the right in the center of the screen to move the data to the device.

• BlackBerry Smartphones help please - cursor does not not while browsing internet

  My Curve 8520 not long ago and fear I'm kinda a dinosaur techno so please bear with me! Wonder if anyone can help with this.

  While browsing the internet my "slider" has suddenly stopped working. My "cursor" - the small black arrow - is still there but when hover over an area of research for example and "click on" my trackball that nothing happens, even if the little hand symbol appears on a link if I "click" the trackball that nothing happens. I discovered I can press return when the hand appears and it goes on the link, but this is unnecessary when only the arrow appears.

  Its the kind of thing that could possibly be fixed by a battery pull.

  With the BB powered, remove the battery and keep it for a few minutes. Let us know how you go.
