BlackBerry Q10 Q10 - black screen after using the Holster

I have a problem with the screen on my Q10 goes black after his withdrawal from the case (is being sheathed correctly).  When this happens, I can still see the alt / shift icons at the top right, angle and the volume still pulls up with power / reboot screen, but every thing is locked black.

I have not seen anything else posted stating the case directly but I decided that it is the only time where what happens.

Is this something known?

Updated - I have not experienced this problem since the software of update may 22

    Hello

That happened a few times before.

It works in the way that all of a sudden my phone does not the keyboard cursor or button up to turn the screen.

I have to remove the battery and start again to respond again.

Tonight, I got an updated via the Update Manager and installed, something 2.2.0.x.

Now, if I call a number that forces me to use the keyboard to make choices, I am unable to use the screen.

I can press numbers using the keypad, and after the call - the screen is black and does not respond to what it is.

I also have to reset my phone again to make it work.

    Any suggestions?

    Solution: http://forums.precentral.net/palm-pre-pre-plus/204001-blank-screen-during-calls.html

It happens because the screen protector that comes with the pre 3 is of poor quality and mess up the proximity sensor.

I turn on my laptop and everything is normal until after I type my password and it is supposed to go to my office instead it goes straight to a black screen, I can not access my Start menu ive had the laptop 4 months on its never had any problems and was working fine an hour ago

    Hello

Try this and let me know.

Boot the computer normally and log.

Black screen, hold down the ctrl and alt keys and press delete.

    Select Task Manager.

At the bottom left, select details (if it is not already selected).

Click in the header of column Nsoul to organize the processes in alphabetical order.

Look for an entry called to run once Wrapper (RunOnce.exe) - If you see it listed, right-click on it and select end task.

    The office is now show?

If this is the case, download Autoruns on the following link and save it in your downloads folder.

    http://download.sysinternals.com/files/Autoruns.zip

When you have that, open your download folder, right-click on the folder zipped to Autoruns, select "extract all...". "and in the next window, click Extract.

A new window will open displaying the extracted content.  The application you must launch is the 2nd in the list (in format autoruns 636ko) but this by right clicking on it and selecting 'Run as administrator' -click 'Yes' to the uac prompt.

Scroll down the list until you find the entrance to RunOnce (it may well be 2 entries) and Remove the tick (s) in the box next to it.

Restart computer and see if it boots now on the desktop.

  • Black screen after opening the software of the camera on Satellite P200 - 17 c

    Hello

Recently, I used my Vista recovery disk. Everything was ok after the installation at the time wherever I tried to use the camera. When I open the software, the screen on chicony camera assistant software was black and there was nothing on it. I tried to install the new drivers, but it remains the same. Then I tried to record and take a picture of me. When I opened the video and photography, it was ok and I see myself.

Can u please tell me what to do?
Oh yes I forgot to mention this: I open the yahoo Messenger. There, I also tried the camera and I saw myself but not on the camera software that comes with Toshiba. I also tried to use the camera in windows live messenger, but the Messenger always stopped working.

    Thanks in advance
    What about z

    Hello

Have you tried to use the cam without the MS Messenger, Skype or Yahoo messenger?
    Please it!

Reboot the machine, but don't load the applications mentioned at the beginning.
Then test the webcam software again.

I had a similar problem with my internal webcam. I couldn't t start cam because Skype has locked.

  • Black screen after using Recovery CD - Satellite A60

    Hey,.

After a few Virus attacks, I tried to format my Toshiba laptop HARD drive and to install Windows XP Professional (normally a family license for XP Edition).
Everything was good, but I couldn't install some drivers (display, WLAN, Ethernet LAN...).

That's why I tried to use the recovery discs. But after the recovery has been completed I should replace the disk and restart the system. After the restart there is a black screen and nothing happened. Now, I have a problem. Why the laptop does not start after the recovery process.

Are there important invisible files on the hard disk, which could have been deleted when I tried to remove the HARD drive and install Windows XP Professional?
If so, how can I get back those files?

    Hello Phillip

    > Why the laptop does not start after the recovery process
It is a good question. On the HARD disk, you will find the image of Toshiba and this image is placed on the Toshiba Recovery CD. As you see it the laptop should load and initialize correctly after recovery. Nothing was concealed on the internal HARD disk

What is the Toshiba screen appear early initialization? You see nothing?
If not I would not recommend removing the battery and unplug the AC adapter.
Wait 15-20 min and reconnect the pieces.
Then try to start the laptop.

  • Half rest black screen after removing the update

Hi, I'm very inexperienced that I just took in video editing so bear with me when I don't know what to do.

On a recent thread, the cause of the upper part of the screen is black has been on a Microsoft update, I had removed the other day and correctly solved the problem.

However, after opening the program (Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0) today I imported a file into a new project that resulted in half top in black again. Yes, my files are in WMV, because I am just a YouTuber and the format fits to my basic editing and shooting very well (I've seen a lot of arguments about how "dumb", it is to use this format) and this is what format my camera braces on. I made sure the update does not occur, but the question is back. Help?

  • Re: Blue screen after using the Qosmio F10 recovery CD

    Hello

I tried to use the recovery CD (XP) for my fathers Qosmio F10. I chose option 1 to return to the factory default. It seems to work fine but after it's over he says remove the CD and reboot I did. It was then restarted but flashed a blue screen for a split second before restarting. I did not see what is the Blue error screen, as it flashes up too fast. Then, it takes me to the configuration screen and asks me to choose whether to start Windows normally or SafeMode etc. All options give me the same result.

He said if I choose to boot to the last known good configuration:

"windows was not start because the following file is missing or damaged:
    \WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\config\SYSTEM

You can try to repair this file by starting windows setup using the CD-ROM Moose
Select 'r' in the first screen to start repair. "

Of course, I do not have an original Windows CD, I just the recovery CD.

I checked to spit on the disc but its perfect.

I have a complete backup of all of the HDD on an external USB disk if that would help?

Don't know what to do next?

    So just in the summary;
You have checked the RAM, HARD drive and tried to install the Windows operating system several times but without success

Well, maybe you should try to boot from a Linux live disc to check if the BSOD appears again?  :|
How about Windows XP installation by using the diskette in MS Windows.
    It s worth a try

Last but not lease, you will need to replace the memory modules RAM and HARD drive
I mean the different HARD disk and RAM tests are useful, but it will not replace tests using new parts
I think that this should be done by a qualified technician because he could test it before buying spare parts

During the last update, it was an update of the firmware, the system crashed, and it no longer starts.

After removing the battery, the system starts up, but now it has a black screen and I don't know what to do.
Pressing any key F doesn't show any results and I have no recovery CD.

Does anyone have an idea what to do?

    Thxxx in advance

    Hello

I don't know why it happened, but if the short workaround solution posted by boarder will not help, so I see good opportunities to contact the ASP in your country for assistance.

    > During the last update, it was an update of the firmware, the system crashed, and it no longer starts.
You're talking about the firmware update
Maybe it was a BIOS update which failed and so the laptop will not start again
As already said in this case that only the ASP technician could help you.

  • Black screen after leaving the computer idle for some time.

    Original title: Black screen

Laptop screen starts to turn black every few seconds so I don't use it to take a short break.  The only way to get back the screen is to move a finger on the mouse pad, otherwise, it is just black.  The only way to stop what is happening is to switch off the laptop, wait a few moments and then turn on laptop.  But if I take another short break, this cycle repeats.  Any ideas please.
