BlackBerry, SHIFT + BACKSPACE BB 9550 Smartphones is FAIL! Help?

I was told there is a way to change the parameter SHIFT + BACKSPACE.  From now on, it erases the whole message/mail I have to compose.  And Yes... it gave rise to LOTS of swearing.  How would I change to delete the letter after the cursor as it did?  This field compensation cost me much step that took several minutes to do.

He did it with my previous storm after that I updated the software.

Otherwise, I hope that what you see can be corrected in a future release. I can't reproduce here on my own (running 9520 5.0.0.497), then perhaps it has already been corrected.

    It's a new bold 9900 if that helps anything.

    This is a procedure blindly; Sometimes it will hit it off on the first attempt and other times it will take several attempts.  The only advice I can give you is to try again.  If it still does not respond, disconnect your phone, plug it back again try until it is recognized by the BlackBerry Desktop Software.

    No data will be lost when you do the following: remove the battery while the device is activated.

    To use the exclusive services of BB (including the ability to Push email, BBM, etc), you must have an adequate data of your carrier plan. Carriers BIS (BlackBerry Internet Service) host for their BB users. In general, BIS is not available through generic data plans. Several ships make stop what is needed the Blackberry data plan.     When I am syncing via USB my Storm with Outlook 2007 docking station, it fails when it reaches the timetable of the process part.  I use sync 2 channels on all of the components (tasks, contacts, calendar, etc.) and be successful, except when I accept a nomination of someone else in my Outlook calendar.  If I create an appointment in Outlook or on my BB, it syncs very well.  The only work around is send 1 channel from my computer to the Pocket PC and after that it's over, I turn it on to 2-way.  Of course, I could accidentally lose some entries and is certainly not a good workaround solution.

    I'm operating Desktop Software version 4.7 and my OS is Vista 64-bit.

    After several attempts, I found this webpage http://forums.crackberry.com/f3/how-wipe-jl_cmder-53502/ and wiped my blackberry and used the DM application loader to reload my OS.  I did see the error message 507 reloading software before doing this.  My BB is back, but I must say it took my hours of searching and finally the jl_cmder worked and solved my problem of device connection!

    Ok. a long long story. old storm 1 worked great until the key on the phone quit Board. went to verizon, they couldn't fix it and so I got a new storm2. This is where the problem started. They low loading the list of contacts to the new phone and for some reason, everything appeared 4 times. they couldn't solve and after a lot of hell and a wipe of my Office Manager and a new download, I managed to erase the contacts from my phone. However, now the list of contacts on the phone won't go up, and of course the doesn't even synchronization does not occur. It shows to be synchronization but still, she leaves with 2 remaining and I get the dreaded error message and then the Manager stops. the calendar sync finally and it's work. work emails and I can call as long as I remember the number. I turned off the synchronization of the image as the said forums that might be the problem. and that is where I am. any help would be appreciated.

But, if you feel the need to charge every day, then your experience would be the same as mine and for me, it was 'normal '. Only you can determine whether an interval of a day is 'normal' for you.

    (I honestly think that your experience is 'normal', but I just have no way to State with certainty.)
