BlackBerry simulator 10 Simulator alpha with SIM card

Am trying to port my for blackberry 10 android app, I'm using the Simulator and everything set up right, however my application requires that the phone SIM inserted, is anyway to simulate a SIM card?

I ' v by looking at the controller and the Simulator but can't find anything.

I'd appreciate any help.

Thank you

Hello

Unfortunately, the Simulator can simulate a SIM card. If you need to test against a SIM and the network services, you need a physical device.

Just in case, you can check what telephony API we currently accept them so not here: http://developer.blackberry.com/android/apisupport/unsupportedapi_blackberry10_hardware_features.htm...

See you soon,.

    You can try this

    On the handset, go to:

Options - Advanced Search - host Routing Table
Click on register now and escape from the home page.

    For OS6 and above
in options, advanced, feature host routing table, click on the menu and select Register now.

Wait 2 minutes and see if the network registration occurs.

Return your books to your BIS service provider site:

Go to the Personal Email Set Up icon and sign. Then under help!, select Service books and select send service books.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry in China using the local sim card service.

I have a Bold 9700 (unlocked) that I would use in China. I hear it can be difficult if not impossible to get a pre paid sim with vocal abilities and data. Given just blackberry e-mail and messaging or does it include GPS and Internet? Thank you.

    Hey there!

Greetings from China! I have a Torch unlocked with me I use on China Unicom (paid in advance) for almost 2 weeks here now (Beijing). I actually do not get the SIM card myself for IT... the hotel made for me. They said that it is indeed difficult to get them now because of the very recent new rules requiring all kinds of identification and of deposits and others. But residents still know how to get around this, so someone from my hotel he had for me. I just to have it reloaded today because I used up all my minutes... so bad since I'm leaving Wednesday, but the cost is almost nothing. I've only got the voice and SMS service... didn't need data comprehensive services on this device that I also have my VZW Storm 2 with me with full international roaming, so I have for such things. Just be sure to use WiFi when you can... roaming charges are quite steep. I was in China and Singapore, a large part of August and my VZW Bill was about $1 700. Should be lower this time since I had the torch of the voice here. And more do not worry about purchase (given that the hotel took care of that for me), I also don't worry about setting up - they did as well and a friend who speaks Mandarin make my top up for me today. Yes, I'm a bit spoiled by all help... but it helps a lot.

With respect to the network, if you want that data, stick with China Unicom - they have 3 G while China Mobile has only 2 G (EDGE). I can really make a difference when my storm seizes China Mobile instead of the Unicom. Finally I got to set my setup get only 3G and it keeps on Unicom all the time now.

Sorry I can't be much more help - I've had help myself and which lightened the burden on me. If you stay in a 5 star hotel, seek their help for sure. You can try the search at the airport on arrival... I tried but nothing of use (most was so tired from the flight that all I wanted was to get to my hotel and crashed). I saw advertisements for a service (I think it's something or other Panda) who speaks through a pre-order SIM card and have it ready at your hotel, and more with easy recharge service. I use them and I'm not sure that it would work with the new rules, but you can also view their.

Good luck and enjoy China! Don't forget to climb the great wall - you must be a hero!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones copies Mulitple Contacts to Sim Card

    Hey everybody,

Sorry been out of the loop as the Blackberry World Online for a little while... Had a bit of a lock on the sites... Do not worry...

I thought I might test you all and see how far technology has come since my last post.

Is there a request yet to allow more than one contact to be copied to the sim card at the same time?

Or an update of the software?

I'm wearing now 3 cameras with me (no, not all Blackberry ) and the sim card gets a rotation. The contacts I need are all in my Storm, and I can't get them to the sim card again unless I do one at a time.

I just did some research, but all articles are 2008 so hoping there is something new on the market to solve this problem, other than the synchronization of Desktop Manager that I don't have outlook or any system of mail installed on my pc, nor do I want to Office Manager

    Please help friends...

    Becky

    Hey bumblepie,

There is nothing updated on what I know... still one at a time.

If there is something I missed, I hope someone post.

I think that I would lose the other two aircraft ;-) if they are not sophisticated enough to manage a complete address book.

Not knowing the other devices, pourraient they manage something like Google Contacts sync, and you move all your contacts to this application so that you can synchronize on each device?

Where I am getting... what common denominator of an application or a service that all three have in common? You said that you do not use Outlook, but if you do, all three devices could synchronize Outlook?

    Good to hear from you.

I've unlocked my old 5s phone on iTunes on my Macbook Air to backup and restore. iTunes has me flashed a message saying "congratulations, your phone is unlocked.  I am now abroad and had a sim card installed, but the phone says 'no service '. What's wrong?

This isn't an error indicating that your phone is always locked. There is a problem with the SIM or the phone is not compatible with this particular network. Contact the carrier from whom you got the SIM card.

  • Numbers of blackBerry Smartphones save to the default SIM card

    Hi all:

New owner of the 9000 "BOLD".

You have a question for you gurus of blackberry.

When I save a new number on the "BOLD", can I put it so that it registers on my SIM card first? Or will it always save to the phone first and then I have to manually copy the SIM card?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Kind regards

NOP, you cannot reverse this order.

  • Smartphones blackBerry RE Newbie question: address book/Sim Card

I have a BB 8820 Smartphone & my carrier is AT & T. I previously had an LG view & upgraded yesterday to my BB (which I LOVE BTW!) I copied my contacts from my SIM card and managed to transfer all my existing addresses to the new BB. However, for some reason-all addresses see contact phone numbers in the field 'Work' rather than 'Mobile' or 'Home' "They were not show them that way on reading my previous phone screen - so my question is that I have to go in every & each entry address to re - enter the number in the 'Mobile' field & then disable it ' work ' field in order so that it appears as"Sue Mobile"or even just"Sue"when she calls instead of display"Work of Sue"there are entires that are numbers of work , but the majority are not & it gets confusing... make sense? Laughing out loud

Not to be confused... Yes you have to it manually.

And you need to transfer all the numbers from your SIM card to your BlackBerry address book, too.

Then, you can synchronize the BlackBerry to Outlook or Outlook Express and do the editing there. Much easier.

  • problem to get internet with SIM card on the probook 6550 b win7 pro 64-bit

    Hello.

I'm trying to connect to the internet with a SIM card on my Probook 6550 b with win 7 Pro - 64 bit

I tried an external USB (called Globesurfer icon) device that works on computers running XP, but I can't make it work on mine.

I tried to put the SIM card directly into the location corresponding to the battery. Nothing happens when I start the computer, and there is only two options in the wizard wireless (WLAN and Bluetooth)

I tried to download and install a file (called sp53068) on the HP support site which was supposed to install the drivers for internet cell phone. It is a DOS window, and he said a sentence. Then it just closes.
I also tried to install all the application files that extracts of the sp53068 in c:\swsetup\SP53068, but they have the habit of work.

Please help me with this problem. Right now this is my only option to connect to the internet from my laptop.

In advance, thank you for any help.

Hello. I just wanted to say that the "mystery" is solved. Simply the USB device doesn't work because it only supports cooperative systems up to Win7 32 bit and no further details. I have 64-bit, so it's a 'no-go '. Thanks for you time.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Newbie needs help with sims and pins!

    Hello world

Sorry if this has been asked before, I couldn't find it.  I got a flashlight last night on Orange and have a bit of trouble with it.  I received a message asking if I wanted to apply the device settings, so I pressed Yes and he wants a ' I should have been supplied with PIN code.  How can I get this PIN?  I think it is long 4-digit.

Also, I have another card Sim Orange I want to use at the moment.  The guy in the shop told me that I would be able to put this sim and use the phone as hormaux.  However, I have found that many applications (BBM, Facebook, etc.) will not work with my original SIM and it work with one that comes with the phone.  Is this good?  Or did sort the "device settings"?  I love my new phone.  Thanks in advance!

the PIN he probably refers to is the SIM card pin - normally the value by default 0000 or 1234, but this should be on the documents that you got with the SIM/phone.

May be preferable to Orange a phone as it you enter it incorrectly 3 times will lock you the phone.

  • Smart phone BlackBerry Smartphones BlackBerry will register (on Airtel with prepaid card)

    Hello

I tried to get the BIS enabled on my phone and so far have failed. I searched on the net and do not have anything conclusive.

Basically, I am able to connect to the internet using my camera, but I'm not able to get emails or other data of work services.

During registration (airtel.blackberry.com, my provider is Airtel) I get a message that tells me that the device is not registered with my provider of wireless and asks me to register by going to 'Host Routing Table' of the 'Advanced Options '.

I was able to do, as many times and always without success. Also, I've rebooted several times and no. - GB.

So far, I have also contacted my provider of service several times, they were not able to help. Suggesting a reinstall the BB software, advice, I'm skeptical of.

Another interesting thing is that I am able to use Google Maps and GMail, applications when I activate "APN Settings" in "TCP/IP" and if I disable them I get a message saying that I don't have data services enabled.

Anyone have any ideas on how to solve this problem?

    Kind regards

  • BlackBerry FLip 8220 Smartphone works with Swedish sim card?

I recentley bought a new unlocked (before T mobile) balckberry flip 8220. He used to recognize my SIM Swedish. The sim card must support edge? Cause my carrier has no edge, just GPRS and 3G.

The 8220 device is unlocked for the other carriers (except Tmobile)?

To determine if your BlackBerry is "unlocked" for use on media other than for which it is the brand:

    1. on your BlackBerry, go to Options > Advanced Options > Sim Card.

    2. in this screen type MEPD (see note below) on your keyboard. A new menu will appear.

    * If your BlackBerry has a keyboard SureType (71xx, 81xx devices) you will need to double-click the P, then the actual keys entered become M E P P D.

    3. search for the network in the list.

    4. If your device is "unlocked", we should have disabled or inactive. If it says active, it is still blocked by this carrier.

  • BlackBerry Passport SIM card, NFC enabled in a passport

I have a new passport Blackberry running on Bell Mobility and the settings information has been transferred from my Z10, which stood on Telus Mobility, using the Blackberry Link software. With my Z10 I used the software UGO portfolio purchases Tap Visa without any problem for about 1 year. I can't get this app to work on the Passport that the error message is CAN not access SIM. I work with UGO to solve and they work with Bell. Bell sent the update of the SIM card. I went back to Bell and got a new SIM NFC and no change in the number of app acceptance.

My wife does the same Z10 Passport switch and UGO portfolio works very well. No problem with SIM card acceptance. The difference is that she has not used UGO on their Z10.

Any suggestions? The passport may lock access to NFC somehow? I don't have problems with signal as calls, texts, BBM work well, and I use the cellular signal almost all the time, rarely on Wifi. A prior carrier (Telus) could use a field in the Z10 to lock the other carriers, which then was performed by the link between the Z10 and the Passport?

Bell Mobility and the App provider have solved this problem.
