  Thunderbird ran an auto update yesterday. Then it just stopped working. It does not connect with the Comcast email server. An error message appears "Unable to connect" and "the connection was refused when attempting to contact live.mozilla.messaging.com. I don't want to uninstall and reinstall for fear of losing my emails and address book. How can we get Thunderbird set, there is no tool in the toolbar to enable the debugging and correction of program errors.

  The problem solved itself, Thunderbird has just started working. I followed the thread suggested by Christ1 and found none of it applied. No malware, no browser, no certificate error security block. I did, however, in Thunderbird, under Tools/Options/General uncheck the button for "When Thunderbird launches, show the Start Page in the message box." I do know that if this helped, Thunderbird still do not access Comcast mail for hours after that, even with several stops and restarts.

  My version of the Q10 does not connect to the Canada to Wind Mobile. Is it possible to change this? Flash material? New motherboard?

  The SQN100-1 is not the frequencies appropriate for wind. Nothing that do you can change that. It's just a hardware problem. Here is a good wiki:

• BlackBerry BlackBery Leap Leap - does not connect on the mixture

  So, I myself just a leap because I really wanted to try the mixture. And BlackBerry is on money once more to raise my hopes and then disappoint me carefully.

  I get the message in a mixture:

  "Please update BlackBerry mixture with the latest version on blackberry.com/blend."

  The thing is, I already have the latest version, according to the Web site and the installation software (1.1.0.23 for Windows). I've looked at this the following:

  1. Mixture has access through Windows Firewall.
  2. OS is up to date (10.3.1.1877).
  3. Local IPv6 network is enabled in my router.
  4. Allow connections and Mobile network usage are both enabled.

  I get the same message on my desktop PC and my Pro 3 (the two Windows 8.1) Surface, regardless of the type of connection (USB/WiFi).

  Managed to get it to connect with the BlackBerry Beta program.

• BlackBerry Smartphones delete prerequisite does not synchronize with the mailbox store

  Subscribe to a "Digest" newsletter and mail is delivered to my BB about once an hour or two.  Sometimes, I want to read the messages, other times that I don't have.

  When I don't want to read the messages, I just highlight the address of the sender to view only those messages, then I hit 'Delete forward' in the BB Menu.  This erases all messages from my BB, but it does not sync with my mailbox.

  Is there a difference that I'm aware of to hit delete prior vs just select each message and pressing DEL?

  While he discusses BES, it doesn't indicate that the behavior that you see is the one specified. The thing to do would be to wait at least 24 hours since all but new delivery e-mail is at a lower priority.

• BlackBerry Smartphones my "BOLD" does not connect the internet browser to the home page.

  Everything has been fine until yesterday, but now I can't connect to my google home page. It seems to load incredibly slowly, then nothing happens - no message regarding connection problems or anything like that.

  Everything else works. Emails, applications, Blackberry world, Sky news vids etc etc, but no browser.

  Anyone have any ideas?

  Please try these steps and see if it helps:

  First clear the Cache of your browser: open your browser > press the Menu key > Options > scroll down to clear browsing data (mark all the field) and then click clean now. Once it is perform a battery pull reboot by removing the battery while your unit is powered, wait for a min. then reinsert back. After reboot check your browser if the problem resolves.

  Try it and tell us.

  Try these options:

  • Hard Reset BlackBerry by holding ALT CAP (right Shift key) and DEL (or removing and reinserting the battery)
  • Messages > saved Messages
  • Messages > view folders, check each folder (calls, SMS and MMS, and boxes, saved missed boxes, browser, phone logs etc.)
  • Defiler, scroll to the top of the page of the message file, above the menu date heading, click or tap to MARK PRIOR OPEN
  • Change your theme and see if it persists and return to your desired theme. (Options > theme > select.)
  • Clean and reload your OS.

  Press the green phone dialing > Menu > Options > Smart Dialing.

• Need to Smartphones blackBerry help-apps does not connect to the internet, even with UMA

  Yesterday for a strange reason my app fmylife, even my aim and msn messenger does not connect to the internet. The blackberry browser connects either, only opera mini-tout this time I am connected to my wifi at home and I UMA. Calls and texting works fine. I tried several times to switch off the connection and then turn it back on, I restarted the phone, I took out the battery but nada.

  Any suggestion or help is greatly appreciated!

  BlackBerry PB does not connect to the WiFi PRIV "hot spot". Implements immediately with an android tablet based - Hudl of Tesco UK - but the PB comes not to connect to the private. Reading through various bulletins and cannot find anything obvious that I missed. PB connects to the other wifi fine.

• App-Manager does not connect to the Simulator OS Firefox on Windows 7

  When I run the simulator it opens fine and I see a Firefox OS Desktop
