BlackBerry Smartphone App World reset password does not

I have a user who has forgotten his password app world. Bein the BES admin, she came to me to get it fixed.

When I try what she thinks, it is the answer to the question of the challenge of the app world login screen, it says it is incorrect.

I can connect to the blackberry website and send a password reset e-mail to his address, the site says he sent it but no email came.  It has been so far a half hour.

She uses app world 3, a latest today.

Can anyone help me to reset his password?

According to KB, it does not have the issue of the challenge... and is specially designed for the situation where the question of the challenge is not known. Now, that said, I actually did all of the steps in this KB, but it says nothing about the question of the challenge at all...

    Missing the exact error message and complete you are seeing, we do some guess... Here's mine (if, that is, you are interested to solve this... If, instead, you leave BB, then you can ignore all this):

    • KB29501 'BlackBerry identity Setup error, please try again later' when you try to install an update for BlackBerry BlackBerry App World identity.
    • KB29300 "An identity BlackBerry update is required" message appears at the launch of BlackBerry App World 3.1
    • KB29613 The error "failed Installing BlackBerry identity. Please try again later. (80003)"appears in BlackBerry App World

    I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

    (1) registry HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network

    (2) remove and return Service directories

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

    I hope that will move things again for you! If this isn't the case, then you should talk to your provider of official support and to ensure that you are subscribed to a data plan which is sufficient to enable the services you want:

    I can't find the App world icon on my new 9900, I was on the Blackberry AppWorld and get a message saying that my blackberry is a device not supported. When I also try to connect on the Blackberry site its too slow and does not load correctly. My last phone was a 9700 and I got a little soft for my App World - even though my device says this is installed I can't find the app?

    Can anyone advise as to how I can get the blackberry app world app?

    Could answer you my other questions? Difficult to help you if you limit the necessary information.

    • Uninstall AppWorld options > device > application management.
    • Scroll down to BlackBerry AppWorld > delete.
    • Perform a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart.
    • Now after operational return on www.blackberry.com/appworld and install again.

    I tried to download an app on my torch via App world.  Its just not work - been trying for the last days and the only message I get is 'App is not available on app world.

    Tried it today on the web on my laptop and the Web site takes me all the way up to the paypal screen and then any button or any link to go further without updating or backup works.

    Hi, hope someone can help us here. We have a password set on our playbook and when using Device Manager it works fine. When we go in the app world and try and download something, it asks the user and the password but we constantly says the password is incorrect. We changed the password nothing is done.   • Does not start blackBerry Smartphone App World on Curve 9300

    I received a notification that Blackberry World 4.3.0.32 was available on 21 May.  Has launched the process of update, but was informed that I didn't have enough memory available to move forward.  Cleaned space and tried again... without success.  Now world BB does not start (no error message just remains to the home screen).

    I reinstalled via 'http://ca.blackberry.com/apps/blackberry-world/download.html'.  Everything was going well an installation process, but it does not solve the problem.

    O/s version 6.0 Bundle 2647

    Current installed App World - 4.3.0.26

    I did the usual, including the "pop drums" restarts, but to no avail.

    I would suggest to create a backup of your data through BlackBerry Desktop Software (device > backup).  When finished, and then follow the steps in this Article: www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB14058 and test BlackBerry World before you restore all the data.

    After loading App World on my curve, the program will load, but does not connect.  I get the error "BlackBerry App World is had problems to connect to the server BlackBerry App World.  Check your network connections, and then try again. "My network connects aren't working very well and all the other programs have NO problems to connect to their servers.

    My playbook & Desktop Manager accepts the password but App World will not. I get this error message:

    I did a little more digging and it seems that you can not connect a Playbook through your computer to App World even though the web page indicates to do so. Playbooks can only access the App World apps directly. Thanks for your help.

    I've recently updated blackberry app world on my 8350i curve to the latest version

    and after that all I get is an hourglass and after 10 minutes, I get java.lang eception exception on error memory

    I tried to remove it from the applications menu, battery pulls and all that and I reinstall I get the same thing. is it possible to completely do a fresh install or recover the old version or restore the old version from an another bberry... help this has been driving me crazy for a while now... thanx
