BlackBerry smartphone email synchronization, synchronization of calendar, address book is not sync!

I installed the BES service and it worked fine until a few weeks ago.

I did not exactly when, but anyway, now I have wireless synchronization 'ON', with synchronization ok, calendar ok, but not the e-mail address book... (not even the notes and tasks, but I don't know if these two were sync since the beginning...)

I DO NOT USE Office Manager since it is not necessary at all when you have wireless synchronization with your email for Corp. of company and services... ok?

any help will be appreciated

Do the following for me:

Go to options > advanced options > service books > highlight the book of desktop SYNC service > press your menu button and select Delete > one time removed, press your menu and select restore.

Out books service, and under the advanced options menu, select Enterprise activation. You may need to wait a few minutes, but ultimately the activation of your business will start again. You'll go from 0 to 100%. Check your address book after that to see if your contacts are come.

  • BlackBerry smartphones to synchronize gmail calendar on new BB C 9320 via gmail improved for blackberry connection

    I already have a gmail desk calendar, but I was not able to sync all the inflow of funds after you have configured the Gmail improved for BB.     To synchronize with a desktop calendar using the BlackBerry Desktop Software, calendar data must be stored locally on the computer in a .pst file and be in a supported e-mail client. The BlackBerry Desktop Software will not synchronize with a web-based calendar.     We are on Groupwise 7.0.3.  Is it possible to synchronize calendars shared to the BlackBerry Curve 8330? My calendar sync is trying to find a way to sync my shared calendars.

    A co worker made me to this company that claims to be able to do.  http://www.companionlink.com/products/companionlink.html .  Note that they have posted on their website that they will no longer support Groupwise 7 and they don't provide any support for Groupwise 8. I was unable to find other ways to synchronize shared calendars.

    I have a University e-mail address ([email protected]) that works very well with my Blackberry. I also have an alias name in the same University ([email protected]) - a different format for the name of the address and the domain name, but its an alias on the same Exchange Server. Electronic mail addressed to me at the address alias does not to the Blackberry, but appears on the University e-mail reader. I'm unable to set up the e-mail address alias name in the Blackberry because the University server does not recognize the name of the alias as a login ID is valid.
    Someone else has had this same problem and fixed it? Thank you. DW

    Problem solved.  Simply deleted and recreated the email account on Blackberry.  Duh - should have done this before I posted...

    My phone has been recently cleaned & I got it all back to normal except that I don't have any of the entries in my address book (phone #s, e-mail addresses, etc.).

    I looked around the BB Desktop Manager app, but it looks like a choice all or nothing.

    Can anyone offer any suggestions?

    You do not have a recent backup of the device on before deletion?

    Open Desktop Manager > connect your BlackBerry via USB > Backup/Restore > advanced.

    In the right hand window will be your data on the current device.

    In the left hand window will be your most recent backup data found by Desktop Manager.

    Review this left window, scroll to data of address book and see if it seems OK for the number of entries, etc.

    If not, on top of the left pane, choose file > open and navigate to the correct file and load it.

    Now click on this address book data file to select it.

    Click on the Middle RIGHT facing arrow to move the data to the device.

    Follow the remaining instructions to finish.

    In this case, take your phone your carrier for assistance.  They may just a setting on their control system, but unfortunately, this isn't something you can do yourself.  At the very least, you should call your operator.
