Research on the forums for this error of java, most of the suggestions were to reload the operating system of the device such that it may be corrupted.  As an attempt to solve the problem, last night I upgraded to v4.5 v4.3.  When I have been upgrading completed, my MySpace, AppWorld and Facebook apps has shown under options > advanced > applications, but the icons could not be found.  I even searched the hidden icons and still no luck.  I used the destop application loader to remove these three applications in the device manager.  I then downloaded AppWorld from my (www.blackberry.com) device and once it has been installed it used to download and install MySpace and Facebook.  Once they have downloaded and installed, I turned off and only went to a battery.  Restarts, showed the icons and apps worked... except for the MySpace Friend list: same problem.  I don't remember when this error occurred initially, but I guess it was after the last MySpace app update.  Were not immediately thereafter, however.  I can access my messages, and the home page, but that's all.  I already sent an e-mail to [email protected] with no response

    Any help out there!

    I suggest this thread:

It begins with a process to start properly and there is an exchange of views, and there is also a post (15) with links to earlier versions of the Software Desktop, if those who are needed. Note that this is not, by any means, guaranteed to work... but it worked to much to solve the problems they have.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones-error message when you try to start the Media Manager.

I have a BlackBerry Curve 8310. I installed the software of BlackBerry Desktop Manager ver.4.2.2. Roxio Media Manager 9 is included in the software of BB.

    Hello

you don't need Roxio just to move the images, just use your Blackberry as a USD external memory card reader.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones-error message when you use the browser

My Blackberry Storm began to display: error occurred during parsing XML: Expecting '; '.  When I go to the browser.  No idea how to eliminate this error message every time I use the browser?

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Error Message icons?

    Hi all

My Blackberry Curve 9330 running OS6 just started getting strange messages appear on the home screen next to the icon of notification by e-mail under the time display.

The first time was this morning when I had a red triangle with exclamation point white icon with the number 54 next to him.  The only way to clear the error was with a battery pull.  The second error came that night when I heard a long and extended BlackBerry beep and a red circle with a white exclamation point icon with a 1 next to him appeared in the notification on the top bar where the previous error icon had been.

    My questions are:

    • What do these error icons mean?
    • Where can I find documentation that explains these icons?
    • What, if anything, can I do to correct this / these problems?

    Thank you!

    -Nathan

I found the problem.  It was not at all an error message.  I installed the AccuWeather for Blackberry app and discovered that this program is the culprit.  AccuWeather's weather alert notification icons that appear in the notification bar.

No problem at all.  I appreciate your help.  I finally solved the problem in parade the following:

Via the Command line, run the following:

    Reg delete "HKCU\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\" /f {B54F3741-5B07-11CF-A4B0-00AA004A55E8}

Then, run the following via CMD line:

    c:\Windows\system32\regsvr32 vbscript.dll

Uninstall worked after that and I reinstalled it the version you suggested.

I have a BB Curve 8320 on Orange UK.  When I connect my device or my work PC (Dell laptop Windows XP SP3) or my PC at home (Sony Vaio Vista SP1) shows the error message "" USB device"unrecognized and say that the USB device has malfunctioned?  It seems to work very well in outside it and connected to the PC fine until ten days ago.  I tried to reinstall the Desktop Manager software (and updated) and I conducted several soft resets on my device; nothing seems to work?

    Can anyone help please?

on the laptop, make sure that the power cord is plugged directly into the PC and try a USB port at the back (without stand) if that is not working, call your carrier, it looks like you need a replacememnt

Ok. You still haven't answered one question my ISP / location. In the case of the Association and the United States,.141 isn't the latest version. In fact, there are several posts on the de.141 problems once it was leaked. The most recent est.148. The link below will show all of the current versions of the listed suppliers. I say pas.148 will solve the problem, but there is a good chance that it will be. You should be able to play multimedia files using headset with bluetooth turned off.

  • BlackBerry Smartphone error message wrong app world on the attempt to download

When I try for the first time download App World on my laptop that it gives me an error that says that since I don't use IE it doesn't let me download.  The only problem is that I use IE.  Version 8.0.6001.18702 the only thing I can imagine can be confusing to the App Store, I use XP on VMWare on OSX?  Any ideas?

Well, given that the requirements for App World says nothing on a PC:

    http://NA.BlackBerry.com/eng/services/appworld/download.jsp#tab_tab_system_requirements

I guess I'd be inclined to think this isn't a single BB app... a PC interface. Hence it will not install on a PC.

I don't really know what you are missing on your BlackBerry.

The only thing that you are missing, that my statement each time, so very explicit, is opening the browser first.

I repeat: start by opening your browser.

Once opened, leave it open and press the Menu button, then press options in THIS menu drop-down.

Then you will see a screen with three choices:

    -Configuration of the browser

    -General properties

    -Transaction cache

See the above screen is dependent on your first opening the browser.

Do NOT go to the Options icon on your BlackBerry home screen. Who doesn't, that's what you did.

    This helps you not?
