  The length of time that your BB will sound before you roll to voicemail is controlled by the mobile operator... their ring upwards and ask to be adjusted to the length of time that you want. Note that this is not a "number of rings" question... the number of rings is entirely dependent on the ringtone that you select. Rather, it is a length of time to play/repeat the ringtone.

  I need help. I just got a new 9720 BB after that my old BB 9220 phone stopped working. Before the old defective phone, I got my data backed up on the server by using BB BB protect.

  I signed into my new BB using my BB ID and my BBM restored 9720 my BBM contacts. However all data like contacts, Notepad, messages, e-mails and whatsapp are not restored.
  Whenever I go to BB protect app, it does not give me the option to restore, rather they want to back up my current phone.

  Can anyone help me to restore all my data saved on my old BB Phone on the BB to BB Server protect in my new BB Phone?

  The easiest way is, on a PC (you can not do on MAC):

  (1) make sure that you have a current backup and your BB complete... you can find the instructions at the link in my auto-sig below.

  2) uninstall all the BB OS packages from your PC,

  (3) make sure you have the BB Desktop Software already installed

  (4) download and install on your computer, the BB OS package you want:

  • If all you want are the levels of BONE, it is first sorted by carrier - the carrier supports, your search will be fast. However, some carriers are much slower than others to release updates. To really get the package up-to-date OS for your BB, you need to dig through and find all businesses that support your specific model BB and then compare the BONE levels they support.
  • Use this KB to help you choose the good alternative OS to include the language you want:
