BlackBerry smartphone how to load applications via Device Manager

It seems to load any application in my device BB storm 2, you need an active internet connection on your device.

I don't have easy internet browsing in my laptop.

The plan that I am with my carrier allows you to chat and unlimited emails.

Is there a way I could load apps via my PC into my camera.

Most of the apps I've tried do not allow this, they need the app link to click on to the device rather than a PC?

Any help / advice, please share.

Thanks in advance.

RSK

Yes, you can load apps from the Desktop Manager > Application Loader.

Download the files *.cod and *.alx applications on your PC.

Open Desktop Manager > App Loader > Add > navigate to the *.alx request file and move forward.

You can find many applications that allow the installation of PC mobihand.com

  • BlackBerry smartphone how to disable internet via the network, but leave the wi - fi on?

    Hi all

I'm new to Blackberry but love until now.  I have a questionette for you to wizzo on something that left me speechless:

My rate is not all internet at all (I'm only a poor pensioner!), but it seems that installation is there for me to use it if I do not pay attention if I want to turn it off permanently while installing wi - fi on.  This was possible on my android, but I gave to my wife because the screen is not too sensitive to my skin.  I got the Blackberry the the guy in the store where I bought it, but all he has done is disable data completely so now I can't use it on WiFi either.

Can you tell me if this is possible and if so, how?

    Thanks in advance.

As long as your data Services (under manage connections > Mobile Network Options) are lit, you will receive data via Wi - Fi.  When you turn on your Mobile network, you are turning ON the ability to receive calls and texts.  If you do not require these two features to be active (and therefore guarantee 100% that you use not any network data), then let your off Mobile network.  As you said, leaving the disabled Mobile network is similar to airplane mode.

I hope that clears up any confusion.  Please post back if I'm not understanding something.

I have a Curve 8330 from Sprint, I wanted to use for my work eMail (BES).  Our IT guy apply all the tools the company official security and limits to allow me to be connected to the corporate mother ship.  I now left this employer and need to get my device back to the standard configuration (detail).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

Not quite... Once you have a COMPUTER policy (which is what is applied with BES), you have to take much more radical measures to eliminate it. See the following article:

  • BlackBerry smartphone how to REMOVE applications (no archives) from my phone and the card?

First of all: I sought advice and found old post of 3 months or more. I hope that new info since then.

I have a Curve 8520 with 4.6.1 OS and Cincinnati Bell Wireless carrier.

I've had my phone for 5 months and I'm NOT NEW to a BB. Here's my situation:

I have download and app from AppWorld, Mahjong ACE. I played for a while and realized that it was only a demo. So, I'm going to the 'My World' section, highlight, press menu and 'DELETE '. But it does NOT, delete archives on my memory card.

I reinstall. Play a game to ensure that it correctly reinstalled. But this time I go to the list of Applications under Options and delete from here. He always Archive on my memory card too much space, I need.

Question: How do I CONTINUOUS DELETE an app on my phone AND memory card for good?

I have about 6 applications that will not remove continuous that they are:

    Mahjong ACE

    DriveSafe.ly

    BB Messenger (an older version)

    However Thumbs connect four v1.0.1

    Flickr

Theme Poker King w / tone

    Help me!!!

Hmmm... Well, according to all the literature, it is supposed to work in this process of 2 floors. So lets try a few other things:

    Clear the application cache:

    1. open the App World

    2. go to my world

    3. for the BB keyboard-oriented - hold down the ALT key and press on, in the sequence R, then S, then T

    3. for Storm/Pearl - hold the num-lock (! 123 button) so that it hangs and then press on, in the sequence 3, then 4, then)

4A. If your BB locks after issuing clear cache, do a battery pull reboot

Completely re - start with AppWorld:

    (1) AppWorld remove your BB (Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > Applications)-if she prays that you restart the BB to do.

    (2) a Batt Pull restart as described above.

    (3) get a new link and install a new copy of AppWorld

    • Yet once, if he asks to restart, do.

    (4) restart another Batt-sweater

    (5) see if it works now.

  • Calendars of blackBerry Smartphones: how to PERMANENTLY remove default device entries

I have 2 calendars (device default and one labeled with my current email). First, I deleted ALL my entries on the calendars of device by default because whenever I have synced with MissingSync it syncs everything to my calendar for my email.  Anyway the problem I have is when I changed my email on the device (before even sync with my computer, the device default calendar is back with a bunch of OLD entries.  Where is he pulling information and is there a way to delete all the time so it never comes back?  Yes I could go back and remove all the entries ONE by ONE, but it would take a LONG time.

    Hello

The default calendar is the calendar of the device, items synced to it will not correctly synchronize on the desktop.

    (1) delete your addresses of e-mail of the device.

    (2) use the link below to clear the Calendar database.

    (3) recreate the e-mail address you want to associate with your main calendar.

    4) go to default services and make sure that your email address for the main calendar is specified

in the CICAL and CIMIME entries. Save it.

    (5) in the Office Manager, specify a one-way synchronization of Outlook to the device for the calendar only.

    (6) once successful, check the calendar of primary e-mail and make sure that all records are there.

    (7) run synchronization for each category separately until you have all the correct data on the BB.

    (8) to re-create any additional e-mail addresses

    (9) send service directories.

    (10) the BB has now all the calendar entries in the calendar main correct email, with no record in another.

    (11) on the PC, delete the intellisync folder and reconfigure the to 2 Sync Setup Wizard see normal.

    1. how to restore the Mail app?

With a strong carrier network (for example, not only WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message from your BB... Please wait just before moving on to the next step):

    1) register HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    2) Remove and return Service books

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    3) restart

    • With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot-~ 5 minutes...
    • See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If this isn't the case, then you should contact your mobile provider for formal support.

N ° of BB devices lack a complete email client on them. Instead, they depend on the BIS service to provide messaging functionality. BIS is active when you have also listed Internet/personal email where you currently see only Enterprise. All services of BIS, are sent to the device via data carrier network... contact them are therefore the right approach to discover why their network is no longer to deliver to you the services that you pay for.

Good luck and let us know!
