  I'm a business traveler road warrior who lives and dies by my BlackBerry synced with my laptop.  I just spent most of November on the road and worked hard the BB and laptop.  The two worked perfectly.  I was able to sync the BB to the laptop with Bluetooth or USB cable and not problems.  Since I was AT & T, I could use the BB as a modem for laptop and get 3G service everywhere wherever I was going.  Life was good back in the day... November 2010.

  Then... I get some downtime and decide to meet the guests of the BlackBerry software desktop that there are updates available for the desktop software and software of the device of 9000 "BOLD".  I decided that since I have no immediate need and criticism so I can update.  So I update.

  I updated the software to version 5. something to 6.0.0.43 version.  Once the software has been updated, I get a prompt to upgrade the 9000 to a new version of software for device.  So I move from 4.6.something to 5.0.0.82 2.

  I do a couple of synchronization with the USB cable and I feel good.  Then I try to sync using bluetooth.  No joy.  Unable to get the desktop software to see the Blackberry.  The 9000 "BOLD" connects to Windows 7 OK and I can even use the laptop as a speaker.

  So I go through the "Add bluetooth device" menu and office procedures.  During the search of a device discoverable bluetooth, the 9000 "BOLD" is so I clicked and respond OK.  Then I went back to the Bluetooth Configuration screen where nothing appears.  I can't add the 9000 "BOLD" for Desktop software.  Something is not.

  Nothing is more exasperating to have everything to work perfectly, apply the updates recommended by the provider of the software, and then have things get broken and stop working.  Before after the Desktop software prompts to upgrade, I worked flawlessly.  After you apply the upgrade of Desktop software and device software upgrade, I can not connect with Bluetooth.

  I searched on the Internet until I no longer have to read in order to find a solution but can't seem to find a solution.  Maybe I'm just angry with RIM and these horrible upgrades that utility that I really liked.

  Let me answer a few questions before someone decides to help him.

  Do you have confidence that you can do both a restore of Windows 7 to get something back to 5. AND then to restore the device to 4.6.something?  Man, that thought makes me sick at heart.  I trust both RIM and MSFT to do their work and we know that RIM was screwed up, or I wouldn't be here today.

  Can anyone help with obtaining of BlackBerry Desktop Software 6.0.0.43 (updated 5.something) version to see and the pair with a BlackBerry 9000 "BOLD" which had 6.0.0.43 improve software 4.6.something to 5.0.0.82 device 2?

  It is confirmed.  5.0.0.82 2 is total c * p.  Who knows what complete insanity due to RIM out a such terrible and wounded many customers update.

  I was able to downgrade from 5.0.0.82 2 to 4.6.0.304.  Compatible bluetooth and connected seemlesly, even if the connection has been very sloew the order of minutes of time to the Desktop Manager.

  Here are the instructions to downgrade.

  1 remove the newer operating system of your PC by going to control panel > Add/Remove programs.

  2. next, download and install the earlier version of the operating system. BlackBerry operating system downloads

  3. install the older operating system to the computer by running (double click) the downloaded file.

  4. go into c:\program files Research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml."

  (I had to look for vendor.xml as I have Windows 7, but when I found and deleted things work as described).

  5. plug in the BB and double-click on "Loader.exe." It is located in the same place as the above vendor.xml file.

  These instructions worked like a charm.  Connected to Desktop Manager and did a sync as soon as the 9000 "BOLD" restarted.  Apparently, the problem was my stupidly following the recommendation to upgrade the operating system to 5.0.0.82 2.

The SMS is now garbage as it collects all text messages and combines a conversation and you cannot choose to delete or restart without deleting the text entering of this person and everything behind it.   I suggest that you go to 4.6 this latest OS 5.0.0.82 2 is broken.  RIM has published a BONE broken to the unsuspecting public.

  Looks like you have removed access to BlackBerry data in your downgrade.

  I suggest you call your mobile to the top and knowledge services provider if new BLACKBERRY data plan, as any generic plan will not work on a BlackBerry.

I downloaded the complete installation as directed by HP and the installation version, the computer just sits there in the part of installing software and then comes up with the next Dot - 4 Wrapper message repair. This file does not exist and is required for installation. then it gives me the necessary dll. who is C:\windows\system32\hpzidr12.dll manufacturer HP version 0.0.0.0. Where can I get this DLL file? I can't support for HP because my printer is under warranty and of course all the HP wants is your money if you have a problem and certainly no worries to try to help their clients regarding this problem. I installed their patches, and they do not work. Now, my printer is not fax or copy. It is connected wireless and I did HP diagnostics and wireless printer software and device software and several patches there including the dog patch, and the patch scan. always uninstall and reinstall the software reveals the same problem and when you make the wireless Assistant and Assistant Diagnostics my printer is recognized and pass all the tests. also the wizard test to the PRINTER and fax work just fine, and I can send and receive faxes and copy and scanning, fine print. When on my computer, however, the tests work as leader, however, when I go to HP solutions program gives me an error (yellow triangle with exclamation point) and States printer is not connected. Yet, I can print and scan from the software, but I cannot fax or copy an error message appears and States may not connect to the printer. MY Device Manager and IP address and printer Wi - Fi testing and diagnostic diagnostic all work well and find my computer and also do report no problem Firewall etc. I guess the program of upgrading hp had me use to get win 7 working with HP software solutions has a defect. I have had some discussions with HP technical support and had 5 different technicians try to help me rounded up to 20 hours multiple msconfig takdowns etc etc and I have a program that does not work.   Sorry for the late reply.  I would say it is extremely common with Google Chrome.  Lets try a few steps and see if we can solve this problem.

  This is because Google Chrome will make itself the web browser by default.  If you go and uninstall Google Chrome with switching on the default browser output, then you are experiencing this problem.  I have a few options that you can try.  Please try Option 1 first before you try Option 2.  Option 2 should be done only if Option 1 did not work.

  Also note that some of these steps, you will be directly associated with system and any deletion or Pack with files can cause the computer does not work.  Please follow the instructions how I tell you.  Perform these steps at your own risk.

  Lets start

  Option 1

  1. Click Start and select Control Panel.  NOTE: Parameter change display large icons. Look for a section "display by" located on the upper right of the Control Panel. Click on the arrow down and select large icons.
  2. Click on Internet Options
  3. When open Internet Options, click the Programs tab
  4. Click Make Default
  5. Click apply
  6. Click OK

  Restart computer and try again your icons.  See if it works and if not go to Option 2.

  Option 2

  WARNING: You will be altering a hive of system critical files of the operating system.  Deletion or modification of any sort can shut down the operating system of the ownership of work.  Please perform this procedure at your own risk.

  Please follow the steps exactly do not remove or change anything, unless the instructions below tell you.

  First back up the registry.  To do this he follow directions below.

  1. Click Start
  2. In the type in regedit search box and press enter
  3. Click Yes at the prompt of admin commands
  4. When the Registry Editor opens click on file and select export
  5. Name the file regbackup and save it on the desktop
  6. Click Save.

  With the now open register, follow these steps to delete the registry files that put Chrome in place which is the origin of the problem.

  1. Expand HKEY_CURRENT_USER
  2. Expand Software
  3. Extend Classes
  4. Click .html
  5. On the right panel, you will see a default value.  Click on this and select Edit.
  6. Delete the "ChromeHTML" and put in "htmlfile", click OK
  7. Do the same with .shtml, .htm , .xhtml
  8. Restart the computer

  It's my generic how updates of appropriate driver: you mainly want to update or reinstall the touchpad drivers
  and ALSO to get the Toshiba value added Package for your version IF it is there.

  For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
  Control Panel - Device Manager - Display Adapter - note the brand and complete model of your
  video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now click on UPdate Driver (this
  cannot do anything as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then do a right click - Uninstall - REBOOT
  This will refresh the driver stack.

  Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party with their
  own the software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

  Now go to the site of the manufacturer of system (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) (restoration) and then of the manufacturer of the device
  (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for the BIOS, Chipset and software)
  updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

  Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after each installation.

  Always check in the Device Manager - tab drivers version you install actually shows up. This
  because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (particularly that audio drivers) so install a
  pilot - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat if necessary.

  Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW on device at the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER - manually check by model.

  other brands and maybe on the other tabs and more than one). There are usually the parameters that
  can determine if a click, double click, hover or can open or close a program.

  Start - computer, or Windows Explorer - Tools - Folder Options - general tab - check the
  Single click to open an item - APPLY / OK

  If some people are well positioned can change to some other setting if you plan to leave
  them that way and then change again.
