BlackBerry smartphone retrieve deleted SMS (very important!)

I use BlackBerry 8320. I need to retrieve a deleted SMS. Will you help? Very important!

The only way is to make regular backups and no do not remove anything between the two, so if you don't need all that was deleted just re - install the latest backup, I learned my lesson even as you the hard.

Wipe your device will erase all Outlook2003, contacts, preferences, etc., on your device.

Make a backup with Desktop Manager: I would recommend Desktop Manager, version 5, Service Pack 1, without the Media Manager. Download Desktop Manager here:

Frankly, I doubt that you do all this, but you probably just need to be more thorough in your search for the Facebook notification...

Open the Facebook application > check all tabs it for notifications (usually the second tab there).

If still nothing, go to options > advanced > applications and remove the FB application.

Then restart: with the BlackBerry device powered on, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to restart.

The notification should be now missing?

Then reload/install the Facebook app. Use the browser of your BlackBerry to access www.blackberry.com/facebook

    I suggest this thread:

It begins with a process to start properly and there is an exchange of views, and there is also a post (15) with links to earlier versions of the Software Desktop, if those who are needed. Note that this is not, by any means, guaranteed to work... but it worked to much to solve the problems they have.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones emails deleted on device does not delete the account Onlin

I upgraded my BlackBerry software last night.  When I try to delete e-mails from my e-mail account, the only options I have are 'Delete' or 'Cancel' (as when I delete SMS/MMS messages). They delete my BB and not my real email (Hotmail) address.  My other email accounts work correctly - I have the option of deleting on the handheld or deletion of mailbox & Organizer boxes.  My other mails are Hotmail and Yahoo.  I get tons of emails per day that I need to remove and I really want to have to delete them from my BB and then have to access my Hotmail and re-delete-the online account.  Can anyone help?

You can check the following setting. Go into Messages. Options | Reconciliation of the e-mail. If you change your Hotmail account, what is your delete value? You should have 3 choices to choose from:

    • Handheld means that he will remain in the mail client once removed from the device
    • Mailbox and Pocket PC means it will remove both the e-mail client and the device
    • Prompt means that the person would get a prompt on the BlackBerry, either remove it from your handheld or the mailbox, and the Organizer
  • BlackBerry smartphones BB deleting my SMS and call logs

Oh K my BB removes my SMS and calls to connect its own... a supp with this... He's never done before... Can anyone help

If the device is not enough free space, it will start to delete the call logs and emails in order to make room for the new. Check the free space by going to Options | Status and look at the number "no file". If it is close to 0, so that's why. A quick fix would be to remove the battery for 1 min and then after that the unit will start checks the number of free file again to see if it has increased. • BlackBerry Smartphones retrieve SMS to the device

    Hello

Screen on my old 9000 "BOLD" broken and I can not enter the menu of the phone. I need to transfer text messages from the phone to my computer, so I can see them. Is it possible to do? I could make pictures, contacts etc. but not text messages. Thanks for any help.

    Hi Mejdzer

You can try any free software available that if ABC Amber is not supported in your PC, the most important is the backup, as you did. So, use different software available and see which allows your PC. Try another such as the analysis of the IPD or MagicBerry and see the result.

And no I don't think that any update is required for your device.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Desktop Manager 7 VERY SLOW sync

Hi, I have a Bold 9700.  I used 01:54 days ago Office Manager, when I upgraded to 7.  Now, it's VERY SLOW sync.  It took 1/2 hour or more for some 800 contacts and events of 200-300.  He used to take a minute to synchronize.  I tried USB or Bluetooth so the connection is not the problem.  I use Windows 7 Pro 64 bit.  I get just to the version 6 and version 7 simply plug?  Help!

    I found a solution

    BTW, I have 1500 contacts, ~ 200 events & ~ 400 notes. USB sync works ~ 1 minute

After the comQosants caused the final step to hang during the synchronization of the 'Preparing' Organizer overview of sync, I deleted Desktop manager by using Add/Remove Programs & restarted my PC

Then I downloaded the installer from the web site of Blackberry, I configured synchronization to replace the data on the handheld = "go to your device only"(outlook est ma principale source pour les Contacts, calendrier, tâches & mémos & que les données sont complètes) ".

    1 way sync worked well.

Then I changed the data synchronization, settings back to two lanes between your device and your computer.

It has worked very well for

    Hi Enderzaman

If it is used then you have done these steps that must be taken after the purchase of a unit of opportunity? So I prefer that you do a full backup of your device using the BlackBerry Desktop Software, to check this KB:

Try it and see if that helps with your problem.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones don't SMS not clearing the homescreen

Under the home screen daily view on my phone, I have a message that was read and deleted, however it will not clear off the screen. All the other messages that I received since then have worked correctly a way to make this message disappear?

    Thank you.

OK, normal to erase a message unread... tips try them in the order.

If you have a new icon rogue Message on your home screen, or a negative number (-1), one of these solutions could erase or reset:

    Try these options:

    • * Hard Reset BlackBerry now ALT CAP (right Shift key) and DEL (or with the BlackBerry power, remove the battery and reinsert the battery)
    • Messages > saved Messages
    • Messages > view folders, check each folder (calls, SMS and MMS, and boxes, saved missed boxes, browser, phone logs etc.)
    • * Scroll at the top of the folder, on the title menu, click or tap to MARK PRIOR OPEN date
    • Change your theme and see if it persists and return to your desired theme. (Options > theme > select.)
    • * Clean and reload your OS.
  • BlackBerry Smartphones photos-deletion, transfer...

I understand that you can not delete several photos on BB BOLD 9650?

So so I'm trying to delete, and then on my laptop with a USB cable connection.  I opened "My Computer", but when you click on 'removable F drive' no pictures appear. Usually as soon as I insert anything in the media on my computer slot, Windows opens a box of media options. What Miss me? I am running OS 6 If that helps.

No device will work on a computer without the necessary drivers. Although MS and other OS makers include many pilots, they did not (TMK) anything especially for BBs. Accordingly, software installation is necessary so that the drivers are present and the PC can communicate with the BB.

I recommend that you only install the RIM desktop software:

And then turn on your BB mass storage Mode:

    • KB13564 How to enable or disable the mode on the smartphone, BlackBerry mass storage

Then, when you tie, you should be able to deal with your BB as any other USB drive.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones sync deletes events iCal over 60 days.

I'm having a problem syncing of calendar using Desktop Manager for Mac and iCal...

Whenever I have sync, it removes all event in iCal over 60 days. The iCal settings are not set to delete past events. Furthermore, tried all the different calendar sync settings Mgr Desktop for Mac, including the synchronization only future events.

Also, if I am able to understand why he did this, is there a way to retrieve my deleted iCal events/appointments? The time Machine, maybe?

I use a Macbook Pro under Snow Leopard and Curve 8520.

Any suggestion would be appreciated. Thank you.

    Hey burko74,

Are all your events calendar being put to always keep on the BlackBerry?

This option is found under Calendar > Options > keep appointments in calendar?

If it is set to 60 days, change forever.  Save the changes and try to synchronize.
