BlackBerry smartphone Voicemail access deleted

I just bought a new blackberry curve and while playing around the voicemail speed dial option has been removed.  I tried to figure out how to reset the 'W' or speed dial #1 for the voice mail option.

Thanks for the help.

Hi and welcome to the forums!

It's the Blackberry knowledge base:

Create a new contact for your voicemail number entry and assign it to the first position on your speed dial list.

  1. Open the address book application and create a new entry for your voicemail number.
  2. Open the phone application.
  3. Display the menu and click View speed dial list.
  4. Make sure that the entry in the 1 position is highlighted.
  5. Open the menu and click Edit.
  6. Select the new entry of contact with your voicemail number. The name and the telephone number of the new entry is displayed in the speed dial list.
  7. Open the menu and click close.
  8. Test the new short code by pressing the 1 key. Check your voicemail number is called.

Thank you

I try to access my voicemail access number and I've seen on this forum that it is accessible via the Menu-> Options-> voice mail.  However, I do not have this option on my Blackberry "BOLD".  My carrier is AT & T.  Is this something that AT & T centralizes / maintains?  I think the number would be an option by phone.

Y at - it another way to access the voice mail configuration options?  Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am a little miffed.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones synchronization messages deleted

My boss has a Blackberry attached to his desktop computer and I have full access to his e-mails.  If she removes the emails from his desktop computer and then they disappear from his Blackberry, but if I delete an email from him in my computer box, ir remains on his Blackberry.

However, if I drag the enamel removed from my Inbox deleted the box removed, then it deletes the e-mail on his Blackberry and his office computer, but it is a heavy means time to process spam and other garbage e-mails (and I know that I remember to do all the time!).

    Any help much appreciated.

    Hey Joneedshelp,

When a delegate removes any element of the box of a BlackBerry smartphone user mailbox, the deleted item is sent to your deleted items folder. Because the BlackBerry Enterprise Server is designed only to synchronize with records of the BlackBerry smartphone user's mailbox, the deleted item is interpreted as missing. The BlackBerry Enterprise Server does not remove an article from the BlackBerry smartphone, unless this element appears in the items deleted in the mailbox when the synchronization folder. You can change your Outlook client for when you remove items from the mailbox to the owners stay in their deleted items folder and they are not being moved to your mailbox. Support blackBerry does not recommend or support this work around, because it requires editing the registry. The Microsoft KB is 202517 and can be found on the microsoft support site. Please don't forget to take precautions normal according to the guidelines from Microsoft if you are planning changes to the registry.

    Hello Johnfss

Welcome to the Forums of the BlackBerry Support

In the settings of your device please check first if option keep Message has the Maximum value or forever. For help, see this Knowledge Base article:

KB13093   : How to use message keep on the BlackBerry Smartphone options

If it is already set to Maximum, then most likely your device suffers from some memory. If our device suffer little memory so it will remove our message.

KB14213   : The call logs, SMS text messages and emails are deleted from the BlackBerry smartphone

So, start by checking these things.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not delete Curve 9360 browsing history

I have a strange problem with my BlackBerry browser.  I deleted the history and cleared the cache in the browser, but the links on Web pages are always appear as purple (i.e., visited) even after the history and cache have been cleared.  No idea why this is happening and how I can fix this problem?

Did you restart the unit after the cache and history has been erased?

Perform a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart.

  • Messages from blackBerry Smartphones do not delete on blackberry703e

When I delete a message on the blackberry 8703e will not delete the actual message on blackberry.  The message is still there.  I have, click on the email and delete it on the menu and the message is still there.  Is there a setting that is turned on or something.  Your help is much appreicated.

    I think it's a software problem.

    So, follow these steps.

Backup your sensitive data via Blackberry Desktop Manager.

And clear the memory of your device.

Go to Options - Security Options - General settings

Open the menu and select 'clear the cell '.

After that, restore your data on the device.

Please note - do not backup TOTAL and COMPLETE, because you can save and restore the wrong data that caused the problem.

Use the 'Advanced' in backup option and backup only that information which is necessary.

  • BlackBerry smartphones to access BB applications. Microsoft Outlook 2007

    Hey BlackBerriers Support...

What smartphone BB parameters must be chosen on Outlook2007 Microsoft to set Outlook APP to access BB APPS(Calendar, Notes, Tasks, Contacts, etc...)

Magicberry application is not the analysis of the file.

Please, type requested location options Outlook 2007 to set the BB APPS; IE: outlk APP/tools/general/mobile/add parameters accounts/etc...

    Kind regards...

    Hello

I'm not sure I understand your question, but here's a knockout that explains how set up the synchronisation between your PIM (Outlook, for example) and your BB (via USB or BT):

    • KB03315 How set up the synchronisation of data using BlackBerry Desktop Software organizer

If that does not contain what you need, please try your question again, perhaps with more details so that we can have a chance to understand your request.

Good luck and let us know!

PS - MagicBerry has nothing to do with the synchronization between a BB and Outlook. MagicBerry is designed to analyze the IPD or BBB file, but the RIM itself desktop software provides synchronization between Outlook and the BB. So I'm not sure what part MagicBerry plays in your application.

  • BlackBerry smartphones CANNOT access EMAILS ACCOUNTS

When I go into setup I can't access my email accounts. I had them in and work stellar until I upgraded to 6.0. Any help would be greatly appreicated.

While I can't tell you why this is happening (or even give you a response to access on your phone), I can tell you that Verizon has a site of BIS self-service where you can add, delete, and modify accounts e-mail on your BlackBerry.  Yes, it does not mean go you online and do it from there, instead of directly from your phone, but at least you will be able to manage your accounts, considering that right now, you can't.  Contact Verizon to access the site.

I hope that I've been helpful to you.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones voicemail indicator

So I am new to the blackberry world.  I'm used to smartphones based on windows, but I don't think it's my problem.  I do not show an icon of any kind, when I have a voicemail.  This has happened on one of my other phones from verizon and they couldn't fix it either and I had to get a new phone.  I really don't want to have to get a new phone because it took me a while to get my microsoft exchange and blackberry enterprise servers.  I hope I am missing a setting somewhere.

    Thank you

never mind - I feel like a * beep *.  Never thought the issue might be with the voice mail admin settings.  but I kept reading this meesage forum and figured it out.

    Thank you

  • BlackBerry smartphones to access / synchronization of folders in Outlook without BES

    Hello

This is my first post! I had my "BOLD" for a week or two and am just become familiar with it.

I added my work (Outlook based) email address to the blackberry via my network service (o2) and it seems to synchronize and receive emails fine.

However, I can't work on how to view my other folders outside the Inbox. For example, deleted items, items and all personal folders, I put in place.

I hope that this does not require a BES to work because it is not an and I really need access to these files when I travel!

    I hope someone can help!

    Thank you

    Adam

Take a look at this KB article - http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB05359

Even if you were on a BES you could not see your PST files. The BES only examines folders on the e-mail server. Since you are not on a BES you will have the opportunity through the intermediary of the first method in the article.

You can try the Desktop Redirector (http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB15039) running and try the third method in the article.

  • BlackBerry smartphones cannot access the sms mms

My son as deleted my Inbox icon, im now unable to access the old txt etc someone knows wat should I do now

Your home screen, press the menu key and select Show all in the list.  If this option does not appear, try the suggestion that follows.

Connect your phone to your PC via USB and open BlackBerry Desktop Software.  Click at the top of the device, and then click on restore in the menu dropdown.  Make sure that the most recent backup is checked and click OK.

If you have not all backups, then click device up and update the menu drop down.  He will say that your phone is up to date.  Choose to view the other Versions and make sure that your current version is the one that is checked.  Click Update and wait outside.  That will restore the icon of your e-mail.

Please update us any progress you have.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones voicemail icon won't go away

My voicemail icon is stuck on my screen. I have no new voicemails.

    How can I fix?

    Thanks in advance.

If you have an icon of wandering answering MACHINE waiting on your home screen:
Dial your voicemail and clear the message.
    * You can call your BB from another and leave a message. You BB, call your voicemail and clear and delete your messages.
    * If the above fails, pull your battery to reset and restart your BlackBerry.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones "Cannot access local files" error when syncing with Outlook

I have an old BlackBerry Bold 9780 which works well. However, just yesterday, I started getting a "Cannot access local files" error when you try to use BB Desktop to synchronize with Microsoft Outlook 2016. I uninstalled and reinstalled the BlackBerry Desktop Software 7.1, but the problem persists. There is no error when using Outlook or other aspects of synchronization in BB Desktop.

I am running 64-bit Windows 10 on my desktop computer. I got no synchronization issues in the past until yesterday. To my knowledge, nothing has changed.

A Google search for the error message returns questions posted on several different forums, but there is no clear solution given.

The problem seems to be in Outlook, rather than with the BlackBerry Desktop, at least in my case. I solved it by repairing my Microsoft Office installation. For most versions of Office, this is accomplished by going to the list of programs installed in the Control Panel, highlight and right-click on the desktop and select the option to repair or change.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones adding and deleting e-mail addresses

I have a blackberry Bold 9930, who delivered to me by my company.  They put in place so that I had received my email to work.  Later, I added my personal e-mail for this.  It has worked well for over a year.  Then one day, I accepted by mistake an upgrade from Verizon.  I've lost everything.  My company technicians were able to restore my ability to receive my work email, but I was not able to restore my personal e-mail.  When I put in place, it shows that I have two e-mail accounts - business (which is my work email) and the internet e-mail account.  However, when I try to open the internet e-mail service - nothing happens.  I can't delete it or change.  As an option, I tried to set up a third e-mail, but cannot enter the internet e-mail service.  Many reflected on the blackberry because they don't understand why it won't work, but have not been able to understand.

    Suggestions - thank you!

Try to go to www.blackberry.com/integrate using the browser and see if you can integrate this way. The personal e-mail account should actually still be there, and you have to only return service directories.

I would like to know how does the browser method.
