BlackBerry Smartphones 9320 SMS is not received

Recently (for the last month or almost) my curve blackberry 9320 received no texts, I do not think a lot that I use my BBM more than I text so I just thought that people were not to contact me, but then I asked someone text me, I saw that they sent and he had delivered, but my phone has never notified me of the received message I went into the folder of text messages, and nothing is found, the text I had just been sent, I can send text easily and they are delivered successfully to others but I can not just receive texts, I even texted me (Sad I know), but the phone said they had delivered but I never received them I tried battery pull, pull out my card sim for a while (30 minutes) and then to restart my phone, nothing... It's weird because I've never had this problem before.

I contacted my service provider and this has baffled them also because they could not help and did not know what it is, has anyone here ever had this problem?

  • Unlocked blackBerry Smartphones Software Update has not received the AT & T brand PRIVATE when you use a non - AT & T SIM card

    Dear whom it may concern,

I saw one of the support forum of Blackberry Web site on "software update, not received the AT & T unlocked brand PRIVATE when you use a non - AT & T SIM card". How can I receive the OTA update in the notification bar?

Now, my OS is Mashmallow 6.01 build No.. AAF355 (June 1, 2016) or do I have to update (auto loadder) my Priv to AAG873 in order to get the direct OTA from Blackberry in the future.

    Thank you

Good questions. I can speculate only at this stage. I guess that since it is updated by BB, they use a revision update for all devices to facilitate management. AT & T updates their different, since they have different methods of approval (Note T-mobile even updated as unlocked devices). Unless you want to get specific version of AT & T that could fix something that the other version does not work, I'd wait for the OTA. I did three refills of OS because I couldn't OTA of AT & T, and they take a lot of time. Take the time then to restore and to reconfigure all the settings you had before. Not funny.

To be more precise questions. Depends on you, but for me, would be updated via OTA only now that it's available. Yes, if you want auto charger, use AT & t. even as before, wait for OTA, unless you have a specific automotive need load the operating system.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can send but not receive messages

Yesterday, I removed my bb bb Enterprise Server for which I will receive is no longer my email of the company. I still have my personal e-mail on the bb configuration and can send, but get no messages. Any ideas that I can do to get them?  all my push settings are enabled.

OK, so who pays for it?

    1. I'll make sure that you have the personal account of BIS activated on your carrier account.
    2. Look at the Options > Security > information. What is in the list? See the article in the Knowledge Base RIM here for more information about how to remove an it strategy. See method 3 in the link: KB14202 how to remove IT from a BlackBerry smartphone strategy

  • BlackBerry Smartphones can send but not receive e-mails

Hi, I have two e-mail accounts and for once they both worked very well. Recently, I changed the provider for one of them, and therefore I was not able to receive messages for it. I can send without any problem. I contacted fido as well as my e-mail host and the two went as far as possible, they say it's a rim problem now.

I returned my service books several times my phone and my desktop computer. I have reset my phone several times. I deleted and then added my account several times my phone and my computer. Anyone have any ideas?

So, I finally this issue is resolved. After 2 calls to fido without success, the second time, they said to call the rim. I called and was told that the technical support is paid. AAARGH. They also said that it was innapropriate for fido have ordered to call me when they have an internal escalation process that would have taken me RIM without cost to me. They offered to contact fido themselves and have someone to work with me. Thanks to the rim (which did not charge me!) Finally, I was put in touch with someone from tech who was willing to work with me and solve this problem once and for all. You know that you have a decent and knowledgeable person on the other end of the line when they ask you what you have already tried instead to go through all the process by heart. Very quickly, it determined that he had a fatal error in the coding of the fido the outgoing server. It has closed and reopened my account and in 15 minutes, I had all this work. Five days to run between three different organizations and in a few minutes work has been set. It shows you just that the real problem is to happen to someone who knows what they are doing. In any case, I'm happy now. And for those who might be fighting the same problem, it might be useful to have your provider bb re - initialize your service. It worked for me.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones N Button does not receive any e-mail

Recently, the key "N" jumps is more me to the next message.  The 'P' key always takes me to the previous message, but the N button does nothing.  Any thoughts on why, or solutions?

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

    Best!

OK thanks... you came very close to what I need... except just saying 'mistake' in regard to music downloads... but, any...

I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

    (1) registry HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    (2) remove and return Service directories

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. I hope that will move things again for you! If this isn't the case, then you need to get in touch with your service provider and insist that they honor the formal support that they are contractually required to provide you with. Do not let you fob before having 100% solved the situation. If they tell you to contact RIM, don't let them not on the hook, then either... insist that they tell you exactly how you should contact RIM. If they say anything OTHER that they will increase you rim (for example, if they tell you to independently seek the support of the RIM), and then accept it. Only through an escalation of your service provider can you receive all official support from RIM.

Looks like they have made significant changes to their network... and they must ensure that their paying customers will continue to receive the services that they pay.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones 9330 "SMS error 0, general problems. Can't send text messages

My Blackberry 9330 cdma has been great work over the past 7 months.  From Friday 22 November, I can no longer send text messages.  I can receive texts, but every time I try to send a text I get the error message following the General problems""(SMS erreur 0, ID de Message XX). "

I was using my phone as usual, sent the texts in the morning, but in the evening, I was unable to send a text with success to anyone.

I have contacted my provider and they did not receive one of the error messages on the network, and there is no power outages in my area (I tried to send other areas of the city too).  I have pulled the battery to reset, deleted the data from the phone, reset all connections... all to nothing does not.  The issue seems to be with the blackberry.

I'd appreciate any help or advice anyone can give me.

    Thank you

It is usually a network problem if you have not any setting or update any software on the device. I contact your carrier and bring them to escalate your case through their support channels.

  • Encryption of blackBerry Smartphones memory devices does not turn off

I want to use blackberry protect but since I got my phone there a small lock next to the checkbox to disable encryption so I can't turn it off. I upraged to os7.1, but the problem remains. Can someone help me?

Hello and welcome to the community!

I'm not sure about the correlation between the encryption and the BB Protect... you jumped from one to another at whiplash speed in your post... do not understand.

But, nevertheless, if encryption is active and locked, then the most likely answer is that your device has a COMPUTER Board policy that requires encryption is active. You can check the existence of a COMPUTER policy via this method:

    • KB30076 How to check for an it on a BlackBerry smartphone policy

If you're on BES through your company or otherwise, you have to stop now and talk to your BES admins, because they are in control of it on your device policy.

If you are not on BES, then somehow you got a device that once stood on BES, and who gave you sanitized it not properly before give you the device. You can now clean, but it will be totally destructive. Therefore, please begin by reviewing the Backup link in my sig auto on this post and make sure you have a full and complete backup.

Once you have a backup, you can do this to clean your BB of the it policy:

    • KB31291 How to reset a BlackBerry smartphone to factory using BlackBerry Desktop Software Settings

Subsequently, when you restore, DO NOT make a full restore... rather just do a selective restore of the databases you need (e.g., contacts, calendar, messages, etc.) and more precisely to avoid any database that have nothing to with COMPUTER policy, business, etc.. If you restore those, they will dutifully restore COMPUTER policy and you will be right back where you started.

    Good luck!
