BlackBerry smartphones all my screens message are empty

So, after trying to separate my messages sms and mms from my work and my personal email, I can access is more no message.  When I click on the message, email, or sms/SMS icon, my phone doesn't respond - if I wait, the screen will turn black and when I press any button, the screen is all white.  I have to press the button end call to return to the menu.  My phone always says when I get a message, but I can't seem to him.  I've logged on to the Office Manager and erased the memory to remove whatever it is corrupt, no luck.  I can't go in the settings to change preferences, because these settings are located in the folder menu message options themselves, which of course, I can not enter.  Any suggestions?

So the main thing is that you can't have in your main folder of Messages - read this correctly?

First thing to do this: with the BlackBerry device powered on, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to restart.

Now you can open your messages folder?

If this isn't the case, you have hidden your messages folder? On-screen main full icon of your device, press Menu > and SEE ALL that it is checked. Now, you see the Messages folder?

my ipod touch received a text and panoramic photo from an iphone 6se, now my messages are empty and starts a restart, is there a way to fix this?

I can't really answer this question completely because I don't know what software was used, or what processes might have been involved in stitching panoramic photo. A possible "fix" would be to save the image on an external and view on a larger screen - like an iMac.

If your version is actually 4.3.2 is perhaps part of the problem. The latest version of iOS is 9.3.5.

  • The folder "inbox" for one of my email accounts where does not appear on the screen, but all of the messages are there, and I can click on each one to see...

I've seen other people having this problem too and their problem solved by using the link "file repair". I tried this also - no effect...

It seems to be a pure display problem, as all emails are there, and when I click on a specific location where a specific e-mail was supposed to appear, I can open the e-mail OK. I have no insight of what is in my Inbox. When I keep my mouse on the account of the column in the left window, a little black watch too, with all the new messages being listed.

I don't have this problem with one of my email accounts has seven. All the others work fine, and this is also several weeks until what stopped it a few days ago.

Restarting the computer does not help.

I use Ubuntu 14.04 as the operating system.

    Try this:

Select the Inbox that shows an invisible list.
Click the icon of choice of right column header and select 'Reset columns by default'.

    It worked?

  • BlackBerry Smartphones untrapped Exception error messages

    Hi nGuys,

I was sent an email with a large attachment with it and now I can't access my emails or send texts?

Whenever I try, I am presented with this error message: -.

"Eception exception: java.long.array Indexoutofboundsexception' and an 'OK' button."

When I click this, (in the vain hope that everything will be OK from here in, it disconnects from the app and I'm at square one!)

That's why making the phone useless.

When I contacted Blackberry support, it says that he does not know of "Eception exception: java.long.array Indexoutofboundsexception'?"

Little help would be greatly appreciated: -.

Hello and welcome to the community!

There is virtually no diagnosis of those - they are the equivalent of random errors in Windows for which trace the root cause is futile. Basically, here's the last out in the programming code - some event occurred for which there is no event handler in the code. The patch is an update of the code that handles the event... but, again, what is the event is almost impossible. So, there are a few things to try:

Sometimes, the code simply is damaged and needs to be updated - just like a reboot:

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

There may be a code updated to the value of the carrier - check out them through this Portal:

The toughest possible causes are a bad application behave. To find it, there are two options. Is to see if you can read the log file:

Go to the home screen. Hold down the "alt" key and type "lglg". (You won't see anything as you type). This will bring up the log file. Scroll down (probably a lot of pages) until you see a line that says "eception execption. Click on this line. The application name will be in the info. Alternative methods to implement the newspapers are in this KB:

    • KB05349 How to activate, view, and extract the the event logs on a BlackBerry smartphone

The other method is to remove the apps one at a time, wait a while between the two (I usually recommend a week), until the problem stops... revealing the offending application. Yet another method is to recharge the BB OS itself, leaving little time between the addition of other applications on the BB in order to be able to determine exactly what is the cause.

That's an interesting statement... exactly how did you get that? As in, who did you call? RIM offers zero support to front line for BBs... only via the escalation of a carrier can you receive free support from RIM. You go through your carrier?

Good luck and let us know!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones how verizon categorize messages "pin", anyone know?

Nobody knows the answer to that?  When I send a pin message, it comes to my messages, not the text file, even if the messages appear to be similar.  Does anyone know if this means that pin messages count as data rather than text?  It would be cool, don't have to use all my text messages when I send a message from pins instead.

I know that bb messanger son County under the name of data but would really like to know these.

    Thanks in advance!

PIN messages are part of the data plan, so they are not counted as text messages. PIN messages are used for BlackBerry to BlackBerry communications. Devices not BlackBerry will not be able to receive messages from PIN.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones do you know what are my problems with my camera and how to solve?

Mine is Curve 3 G running OS 6. I have 3 years now.

Never installed any themes. I removed all languages, except for English and mandarin. Obtained third-party applications, which are whatsapp and screen grabber. I also youtube, twitter and yahoo messenger but I think that they are developed by rim. I uninstalled the default games from the early days, owner of the device and never install others. I also removed the maps and the world of blackberry. In any case, they are useless.

I don't store a lot of pictures and the ones I did on my ram external 2gigs. I have not all media files. Just the default values.

I join 1 group and it's not active. I don't have multiple conversations. I end conversations as soon as they are finished. BBM contacts grow about 1-2 monthly and phone books from 3 to 5 every week. I am a seller.

I delete e-mails from the unit as soon as I finished reading the. Never navigation because the browser kills each front page loaded completely, making me unable to use youtube.

I remember regular cleaning to run hourly.

I do battery pull everyday because I'm tired of waiting for the clock or the gel to disappear, which could take more than half an hour if I let them which of course eventually crashing.

Never have data backup because the device freezes the second I connect it to the PC with desktop blackberry on.

So the question is do you know what are my problems and how to solve? Because I did not.

    Hello

Well... We must memory cleaner is enabled, this feature is known to cause many problems!

Try a battery pull reboot and let us know.

    Hi mollypiper

Welcome to the Forums of the BlackBerry Support

Have you recently installed a new application on your device? If you then uninstall or undo the changes that you did before this error appeared on your device. Also, try these steps and see if that helps:

1 - Save your pocket computer.

  • Help blackBerry Smartphones! -Lack of message, emails, icons of the camera on "BOLD" 9000

Saturday night my battery apparently lack of power completely.  When I tried to start, but there was no answer so I plugged and rebooted.  When it is turned on, the message text, the e-mail icon, icon of the camera icon and the cat icon Blackberry where everything is gone, on the screen.  Also the 'sound' icon in the upper left corner, you know that to control if the ring is strong, sweet, or vibrate, etc., is absent.  I had the screen saver is off.  But a photo in Blackberry default is now the screensaver.  I have some pictures and important texts and emails I need restored.  I also spent hitting the button on the bottom of the phone, and a message icon appeared or reappears, however, he only registered to Blackberry on the phone, a message registeration emails when I registered on 24 January and back in 28 Oct.  I bought the phone with an ATT store and they said it was new.  None of my previous electronic appear under this "new" message icon

Just curious to know if anyone knows of any quick fix until I have to waste my time online, then have a cust rep, who knows as much as this phone than me, tell me it will have to be shipped to a place and "restored".  Thank you very much.

    Françoise

PS - I just noticed the www browser is missing also.

Thanks for the reply.  A friend told me to stop the BB, remove the battery and then turn it back on.  The BB took a few mintues to come back but it worked and everything was restored.  He explained that the BB goes through a process of battery conservation and stop all programs in order to save energy.  He thinks that the current BB software is apparently not restored these programs stop you.  Maybe the upgrade of the software you suggested will do just that (?).  In any case, thanks for the effort.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not send messages or make phone calls

My BB torch worked fine earlier, but there is an hour, it just stopped.  He has connections and bars, until in the Connections window bit. I tried it turn on and off as well as to take out the battery after it's off to reset.  I tried to remove all of my old conversations in the phone as well. I can still connect to the internet on this topic very well.

Hello and welcome to the community!

I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

    (1) registry HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network

    (2) remove and return Service directories

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If this isn't the case, then you should contact your provider of wireless services for formal support.

    Good luck!

  • Why blackBerry smartphones don't my messages on the forum list?

Last week I posted 2 questions, one and only yesterday, and I don't see them on the list of messages - what am I doing wrong? I am a new Member since last Thursday.

I see 3 posts by you. To the left of your message, click your name. Scroll down to the "Recent messages" section, and you will see all of your messages.

I don't know what list you expect to see, but they are certainly there (somewhere).

    Good luck!

PS - one possibility is that you posted to a particular Board, but the Board wasn't the right pair to publish this investigation to. Our Mods are often a lot of "household", moving messages in the appropriate areas of the site. It is therefore possible, as was the case for your other posts... of course, that we cannot know with certainty, because we do not see the "back-end" like the Mods can see. But your messages exist.

  • BlackBerry smartphone how to keep messages sent from my BB on a BIS account

    Hello

I use my hotmail and cogeco email a lot and I want to keep track of my msg sent from my BB.  The messages that I sent today to my BB not located in the folder sent on the BB or online on the messaging service.

How can I make sure all sent messages are saved in a folder, either on my BB on the host service?

It is mixed in your General messages.

In your General messages > press Alt + O for outgoing messages.  Only one 'Oh' is not a 'zero '.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones SMS/MMS screen will not rotate horizontally

A SMS and MMS window is stuck in an upright position only (which makes it very annoying to type and message).  All other screens, programs, etc all turn to postions vertical and horizontal.  It just started happening out of no where.  Nothing else seems to be a problem with the phone or one of its programs.  Tried to update the software, but it was all up to date.  Any suggestions or corrections would be appreciated.

Have you tried restarting batt-pull? Like all computers, a normal restart is healthy!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones BBM combines in messages

I just got my Blackberry Bold 9700. Yesterday, the BBM has been an icon in instant messages. Once I installed BBM version 5.0.0.57, however after installation the BBM is now combined within the masseges. I tried to go back to the configuration and verification in factory Options, but they have no mention about BBM surveys.

Its difficult to use abit and I want a separate icon for it. The application had to do this? How do I separate messages?

You have a package of data or Blackberry App World on your phone? I suggest you to re - install Blackberry Messenger all together. You must be able to search google for blackberry messenger and download right on your phone.

Seems to me that when you tried to update your BBM initially he corrupted the original version. As I said, download the app again by searching for it in a web browser or blackberry app world OR use desktop manager to uninstall and reinstall.

-When I go to Instant Messaging, it automatically opens BBM.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones separate email and messages.

I managed to separate my messages from my text messages, but my email and messages are always linked.  So when I receive and send, it appears in my e-mail folder and the folder.  Is there a way to make the emails appear only in the e-mail folder?

You could click the message icon and then click on the BB button and select hide...
