  I go and around this issue - I know that in addition to the DM, I need to have the OS installed on my laptop. So, I installed, uninstalled, etc., etc., removed the XML for the seller. battery pulls and back to - always get the message - so I bought the software, unpacked to a folder, and the application loader always is not 'see' the files .alx file.

  Any ideas?

  I must own up to not being a really savy with the DM - when I went on the application loader and finally 'scrolled' down to see what was there, the software was there, all I had to do was check the box and it loaded correctly.

  Sometimes, I just pop around way too fast and assume that it does not work.

  I suggest that you clear the cache of the AppWorld application:

  1. open the App World

  2. go to my world

  3. follow one (and only one!) of these steps:

  3. for the BB keyboard-oriented - hold down the ALT key and press on, in the sequence R, then S, then T

  3B. for touch screen only BBs - hold the num-lock (! 123 button) so that it hangs and then press on, in the sequence 3, then 4, then)

  5. If your BB locks after issuing clear cache, do a battery pull reboot

  However, things can be odd, depending on what you mean by "completely"? Several carriers push icons "teaser" to get you to install applications they're pushing. But the icon itself is not an application installed... rather just a shortcut to "tease" you to install the application. You can't stop these teaser icons.

  I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

  (1) registry HRT

  (3) restart to take batt

  • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

  I get this error at all times when working in the ancestry.com Web site. I have to reload the page on almost every search I do on this Web site. It is the site of the ONLY I get this error message, can run uninterrupted for several hours on other sites and never get this message. I talked to the people at Ancestry.com support and they did 2 recommendations: turn antivirus (did not help) or switch to another web browser. I tried both 11 IE and Chrome Version 31.0.1650.63 m and I have no problem with either of these 2 browsers this error.

  Note: This will be you temporarily disconnect all sites, you're connected to.

  For a few weeks with in a day or two, the free Application reaches 10 MB memory. Rebooting frees memory, but just for a day. I have questions-
  1. is there a way to increase the memory of the Application? Other messages it does not seem possible, but thought I'd ask.
  2. How can I find what is stored in the memory of the App? I have more than 120 MB that says: "Other" in "Application Management" (about 80 MB for app). This 120Mo continues to grow over time. Do not know if I have accidentally stored anythinh here, but not there at - there a way to know what is this 'other '?
  3. is there a tool that can find what app or anything else is causing the memory increase?
  4. is it possible that some app has led to this problem or I recorded a video, etc. to the memory of the App?

  I always had more than 100 MB of free space in the memory application in recent weeks. I removed all of the apps I have installed in the past weeks, but nothing helped.

  Any help is appreciated... Sorry for the long post, wanted to be more descriptive as possible ;-)

  You have two questions.  First of all, 65 MB of free space of the Application memory is not much.  Something is to take memory.  Load any new request when it started?  Do you use a card multimedia for pictures and videos?

  Second, OS earlier than I posted have problems with the 'leak' free memory down to 0 over a period of time.  At how fast depends on how much is free to start.  I would like to update your operating system with the version in the instructions below:

  1. first download the OS for the 9810 here: https://swdownloads.blackberry.com/Downloads/entry.do?code=BE1DF9A5D08724971F64A511E24FC904

  2 make a manual backup of your device first, using Desktop Manager > backup. Close at the end Office Manager and disconnect it from BlackBerry. You can get the BlackBerry Desktop Software here http://us.blackberry.com/apps-software/desktop/

  3. download the OS from step 1 of the file on the PC then install on the PC by running (double click) the downloaded file.

  4. go into c:\program files Research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml." Also, check the following locations for the vendor.xml file and delete all instances of the file:

  On Windows Vista/7, go to C:\Users\YOUR_USER\AppData\Roaming\Research in XML Motion\BlackBerry\Loader (where 'YOUR_USER' is your user name)

  On Windows XP, go to C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR_USER\Application is In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML (where 'YOUR_USER' is your user name)

  5. connect the BlackBerry and double-click on "Loader.exe." It is located in c:\program files\common research in motion\apploader.  Follow the prompts to update the operating system to the new version you downloaded.

  Once this is done take a look at the free memory space.  What is - what now?

  Try to put your device in 'safe' mode and see if you can stabilize the instrument for the basic function.

  Have you recently added a third party application or upgraded your device operating system?

  Please post the error message "untrapped exception" together so we can help you get the best advice.  (Most contain specific information. (Example: "Eception Exception: Application rim_Bluetooth net_ (148) is unresponsive.'")

However, when I use Blackberry Desktop manager or BBSAK, or run the Application Loader. the three programs cannot detect the device. When you use the Application Loader, where it should say "COM1" or "USB - PIN: UNKNOWN", it's white, & you can't select anything. I'm trying to do two things.   It begins with a process to start properly, and there is an exchange of views. Note that this is not, by any means, guaranteed to work... but it worked to much to solve the problems they have. You could add to it the use of Revo or another tool to remove own software... There are cases where things are left behind, and if they are corrupt, they can prevent the resettlement work correctly. The goal is to completely, remove from your PC, everything that is in no way, shape, or form associated with BB (registry entries, ignored of records, etc.).

  If you get this message as you said on your message, try removing some applications options > device > application > locate and remove any unused application or not that you rarely use. It can help improve your memory of the application.
