BlackBerry Smartphones Auto voice dialing with digits added (password)

I have the BB Curve 8330.  When I hold down the #1, it automatically dials my voicemail.  How can I program it to pause, then enter my password as well after that I'm in the voicemail system?

Sounds great, but HOW can I change the number?  Where can I do this?  I've never set up #1 to automatically dial my voicemail, he has done since the first time I turned on the fone.

Press the button to answer on your phone.  Press the menu key (left of trackball) > options > voicemail > put your password in the password field and then #.

I use the last BBM on my Bold 9900 with o/s fully updated.

I noticed that since the BBM for Android and Apple launched, I can't voice chat features for my non-Terminal contacts BlackBerry.

I am connected to wifi. When my blackberry contacts are in wifi areas, I see the Green notification turned on in the upper right of their profiles but all my contacts non-blackberry device are grayed out still.

    Hello DrFever.

I do not work for Blackberry, but I know that BBM for iOS and Android features are limited compared to the Blackberry Version. They have only cat features, with video and voice, expected sometime next year. I hope this helps!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones unable to dial # with touchpad when he's on call

When you try to set up my voice mail, or requiring any number # required extensions or passwords. On the screen there is no option. When a call is connected and I bring up the keyboard are the only available options *, 5.1, 0. There is no other # s listed. There are a few linsted letters in gray D, G, J, M, P, T, W, but are inaccessible.

Is there a setting that I pressed by mistake that prevents me from dial # s when, on a call? bug?

When I created first of all my bluetooth, I was able to use the voice dialing without any problem.  Now, it does not work.  When I try to make a call using bluetooth, the screen displays "voice dialing initialization" and just stays there.  Voice dialing is always working to make a call with the handset.  Any thoughts?  Thank you.

I have exactly the same problem.  The only thing that restores it must draw on the battery. Then, it is set for a day or two and return to the "blocking during initialization".

I read the audio entering BT during initialization, before the sound "tones" to let you know the word, it will lock.  When I remember not to speak before the beep, it seems to work better.

    Give it a try!

  • Smartphones blackBerry 8350i + h710 voice dialing plus :(

Voice dialing works fine on my BB (8350i) w/o bluetooth motorola H710, but if I try to do voice dialing using the H710 it doesn't.  I push the button "make a call" on the helmet, which is initialized to the voice dialing on my BB, it passes through even where it says "Say a command", but when I "say a command", nothing happens on the BB, it's just sitting there.  Any ideas?

If you are using a compatible device with Bluetooth wireless technology, for example a handsfree car kit or wireless headset, verify that compatible devices Bluetooth supports voice control.

Here is the link of Motorola for your bluetooth

And there is nothing about the voice command.

I think you need to call the Robot again and ask (LOL) if the bluetooth accessories market takes in charge the voice command.

  • BlackBerry Classic bluetooth voice dialing

My new Blackberry classic makes me crazy.  My phone does not include orders when using the bluetooth in my car (Toyota Rav4).  He then said he has 12 results for one person (not possible).  Or he does not understand?  Then when the call finally passes by, he repeats, such as ' call so and so, home phone 555-222-3333 and so on. "  10 minutes later, if I'm lucky, the call through finally.

I have no need for the phone to repeat the House/mobile number which is called the correct number is programmed into my phone.  Why he don't understand my orders when I speak clearly and sussinctly?

What can I do to stop all this frustration?

    Thank you

Is voice dialing works when you are not using Bluetooth?

If so, it is rather a problem with the microphone of the car of the phone itself.

Regarding the repetition of the number: you can stop in the settings in the wizard:

  • BlackBerry smartphones, what's wrong with my Blackberry Bold 9930

First the screen of my Blackberry would freeze upwards and it wouldn't let me do anything for a few minutes, so I had to take my battery out and then after that I took out my battery and put back in place he would have himself cut and wouldn't load, it would load at halfway then stop and try again. I use to have to take out the battery for a few days before its in so that he can turn it on but one day it does at all so I thought it was the battery but I just bought a new battery and its charging again to half way and stop and then try to load again, but it won't turn. Does anyone know what the problem with it... I have to wait a few days before you put the new battery in once again and then it will work or is the phone itself and I just need to get a new one?  Help, please.

Hello and welcome to the community!

Please try this sequence... Note that, throughout the whole 4h15m process, your BB should stay connected to a good charger (not the USB PC):

    1. With battery, connect your BB to the wall charger
    2. Leave it alone for 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the screen not
    3. Remove the battery
    4. Wait 15 minutes
    5. Insert the battery
    6. Wait another 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the screen not

This has been known to "revive" some BBs.

It is also possible that your battery or BB has encountered a problem... to test, this sequence is necessary:

    1. Get a known good and already fully charge battery... use it in your BB and see what happens
    2. Get access to a BB good and the same known... use your battery in there and see what happens

The results of this will show if your BB or your battery that has the problem. I realize that you have purchased a new battery, but please understand that 'new' and 'well known' are not necessarily the same thing... While it's rare, that a new battery cannot be subject to default. The best thing to do is to find someone with an identical BB which has no problem... to Exchange batteries and see what happens.

In addition, the next thing is to try to start safe mode:

    • KB17877 How to start a smartphone BlackBerry in Mode safe

It will take several attempts to get the combination of keys ESC (press/release/hold) OK, so be patient. When properly in Safe Mode, thinking... what happened just before this behavior started? A new application? An update? A theme? Something else? Think carefully that the slightest change can be causal... and try to undo all that was.

Otherwise, your next steps become much more radical.

Good luck and let us know!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones please help me with this piece of junk

I'm the unhappy owner of a Reub curve 8310. Today out of the blue voice dialing has stopped working. Then my Media Player froze. I started getting the dreaded hourglass timer icon, and then he started to drop my calls as well.  Quickly, I deleted all the emails and phone records as well as previous messages. I have very limited photos and music. I am aware that the pathetic OS memory is easily swamped. I have a chip addtl (4g), but the phone does not DEFAULT him even if it is configured to do it, not even with the PIC or the music as far as I know. I downloaded the pathetic 4.2.2 on PC with the (yet another poorly designed software) Roxio Media Manager. The part of corrupt media my Vista 32 bit OS on my laptop (Roxio) Manager. I had to unload the 4.2.2 so I wouldn't have to reload Vista 32 OS and lose all the data on my PC. I'll try to reload v4.2.2 w/o Roxio in the simple goal to reload the OS on my crunchberry so I can get this piece of crap to work just at least for a while. This is my primary phone for individuals and businesses. What a disaster!

    My questions are:

    1. after loading 4.2.2 w/o Roxio how do I load a pic and music on the extra memory on the phone if I have Roxio to sync with my phone. Can I just open 'my computer' access to the phone and drag items into the file 'music' for the phone or the file 'image' for the phone, or it comes will load it in the pathetic czec OS?. In other words the Roxio is the only way to load music and media in the additional memory chip?

    2. the 4.5 update my phone help or just make things worse. It's the only option I get when I search under systems OS phone for the 8310curve.

    3. What are some basic maintenance steps to keep this thing running stable. I lost two hours time valuable work up to now and, eventually, a client trying to fix this piece of junk. The desktop items only addtl I are icons for google maps and yellow pages that appeared when my browser first went to the line.

    Thank you

Sorry for my sharp tone, you could imagine my frustration since I am self-employed independent and customers are precious at this moment. I appreciate your detailed response. I hope I can do the Curve 8310 proceed as you mentioned.

    Thank you

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not synchronize with the USB cable plugged into charge pod

    Hello

I read on the web site of shopblackberry.com, in the details of charge pod ( http://www.shopblackberry.com/_blackberryaccessories/cgi-bin/pd.cgi?frompage=category&page=product_d... ) that the pod can handset with charger travel or data cable for charge and/or sync with a BlackBerry smartphone. So, my question is related on a problem or a misunderstanding of me to this description.

I want to know if we could recharge and synchronize the BlackBerry via USB cable or is only responsible for the BlackBerry when connected that way. My second question is, is it possible to synchronize the BlackBerry with the USB cable plugged into the pod or not?

Because I got a request from one of my users about the fact that his BlackBerry 9000 can not synchronize when it is on his group.

    Thank you very much!

    Hello

It's a loading dock. It is useful, because just drag you your "BOLD" in there and it will load (just like the 8300 Curve).
If you want to synchronize, you can plug a usb on the side of the appliance cord. This can be done while the machine is in its dock, where the description.

I have the same crib, but for the 8300. It's really worth buying. I'm happy with it every day.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones quite confused newbie with (iMac) & Blackberry Curve 8530 ordered

I thought I posted this before but can't ind station. Maybe I'm in the wrong bench?

Need to synchronize information on BB Curve 8530 with my iMac, Mobile me up and use to sync iPod Touch - questions are:

1 can I disable MM before you install Blackberry software for Mac (Snow Leopard)?  I need to be able to sync contacts/address book, iCal with the new phone and am afraid of conflicts so I don't "disable Mobile Me.

2 have you also looked at Mark/Space software to sync Curve 8530 - it might be a better program to sync with iMac - someone uses this or do you use the Balckberry software?

    3. do I have on the right forum for these questions I changed my subscription and I am in the right but not sure, so pls be kind enough to redirect me...

    thx for your patience.

    Hello, petunia

Before you install the BlackBerry Desktop Software I would recommend support to the top of your address book and iCal on your Mac. Do this please open your address book, and then select the file (in the top menu) > export > Address Book Archive, and then click Save and placed on the desktop. Let then open iCal and select file > export > iCal Archive and click Save to place them on the desktop as well.

You are now ready to install the BlackBerry Desktop Manager on your Mac. You don't need to disable mobile me to do this. After installation, restart your Mac and open the app to BlackBerry Desktop manager (it will be located in your main applications on the Mac folder). Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your smart phone BlackBerry for Mac.

After the device is recognized and connected, you will have to configure synchronization settings. To do it please click on the items you want to synchronize under information and then select two way to sync with the calendar to sync or Sync Contacts(In the middle of the page). Once this operation is complete, you can go ahead and click the sync button located on the top right to start the synchronization process. During synchronization it will alert you that it's your first synchronization and it is recommended to replace the data on the BlackBerry smartphone. Please select this option to overwrite the data so that all the information of iMac you will be synchronized on your BlackBerry Smartphone.

Once it is complete, you can eject your BlackBerry Smartphone by pressing the key of eject located in the lower right of the program.

Thank you and you defenatly in the right place!
