  Hi, I have used a Bold 9870 for a few months now. I've been saving my camera on my computer periodically. Unfortunately, it has been exposed to water the weekend and unresponsive. I transferred my acct (by Sasktel) to the Blackberry curve of my son he no longer uses. (I'm drying my "BOLD" in a bag of rice and I hope that it will work again in the coming days?!).

  My question is did anyone know how I can get all my information backups "BOLD" (contacts, emails, texts, bbm surveys) and get only their transferred on the curve that I currently use. I feel completely lost without it!

  I tried again and now I understand what went wrong.

  normally when I unlock I have to put my password after the BB asking me to do.

  I did it when the BB requested my PIN, but obviously this is not equal to my password...

  I typed the generic PIN for BB and it worked; Deselected NumLock and I could enter my password.

• BlackBerry Smartphones BB Bold 9900 just does not load

  I bought my BB Bold 9900 10 months and I never had problems charging my battery. But the other day, when I got home and charged, when I woke up, Led - the RED light flashes and custom light up. I used another charger (nine) but still the same. I tried to plug it into my laptop for charging, but still not good. BB office says this device was not connected (since obviously he doesn't have the power). I searched online and I tried the "kickstart" they say where I have to charge my phone for 2 hrs and remove the battery for 10 minutes and put the battery back and wait another 2 hours - still not good . Although when I tried, I saw the icon charge for a few seconds during the first 2 hours, but do not see it again.

  Anyone have a suggestion? Do you want to know if I need to replace my battery or have this problem? We have no Center service BB here in the Philippines. The trader would normally send unit to Singapore to have checked/fixed. I can't afford not to have my phone because of my work and I have files that are stored in...

  In waiting for someone to answer, I did some research and tried them out, but so far, I'm still not able to turn onn/load my camera.

  Here's what I've tried so far:

  1 pull the battery loading and put back on the

  2. the "kickstart" than what a qualified member where in while now the end call key, remove the battery and the light RED LED while that appear and immediately press call button for 3 seconds and press the end button again. He advised to do 7-12 times and told me that does not work the first time... but try again. (I tried to do this several times)

  3. a publication that he had his dependents for like 2 days and removed the battery every 2-3 hours. (did not have my phone which support long however )

  4 force detect the BlackBerry smartphone by using the Application Loader. It was also published in KB10144of Blackberry Knowledge Base.

  FYI: guests of the message I have seems different from what has been published well since I don't have the chance to reinsert the battery. I was prompted to unplug the unit and close the application before installation. After you restart, DM didn't register my device. Did not have the option 'new attempt/Update ".

• BlackBerry Smartphones unable to view the files on SD card via USB on Windows PC

  I am a new PRIVATE owner (increased from Z10) and I can't seem to view the contents of my SD card on my WIN10 PC when it is connected via a USB cable.

  In fact, none of the content on the PRIV are displayed on my WIN10 PC when connected via USB.

  I installed the USB driver on the BlackBerry site, formatted the SD card several times installed solid Explorer file manager and the solid grip explore USB OTG.

  When I connect to my PC WIN10, I can see the folder "Blackberry STV-1000 ' pop up, but the content of the files folder is empty - with none under folders displayed - even if there is a"Music"folder on the SD card.

  I would like to see/transfer files to my PRIV connected via USB to my PC.  Why is it so difficult?

  Problem solved...

  I noticed that after plugging in the USB, you have to swipe down with one finger... noticed the 'connected in charge mode' and you select 'file transfer '.

  It works now!

  Bab... a lot of research to do this simple task is coming!

  BB Bold 9000, version BDM 7.1.0.32, Windows 7 64 bit professional, (DrWeb) antivirus and firewall (Agnitum Outpost).

  When you connect as long as administrator so synchromization works, BB, instantly, PC connection cable, firewall and antivirus causing no worries. No problems.

  When you sign in as a user, BDM shows "Connecting" with the green ring rotation. Waiting for 20 minutes - nothing is happening at all, no connection (sign 'Connection' is always there). The problem came out recently - about a month or two ago. No software installation, save a few Upgrade of existing software.

  What could be the reason of such behaviour of BDM / PC?

  If the software was installed by Admin, but not properly shared to all users and then if the update was made of different way, which could have confused the rights within Windows, causing this strange behavior.

  It begins with a process to start properly and there is an exchange of views, and there is also a post (15) with links to earlier versions of the Software Desktop, if those who are needed. Note that this is not, by any means, guaranteed to work... but it worked to much to solve the problems they have. You can make while logged as an administrator, as well as using "Run as Admin" for everything you can. You can also consider installing while signed in as a user, if it is only that the user who will use it.

  Once the program is installed, launch the program, which shows a picture of the phone.
  now to start my software of management of office and back in the Smartphone Simulator
  In the menu, select 'USB cable connected' which simulates the connection of the smartphone.
  Once u this, office management software invites you to create parameters for the then new phone.
  Once u put in place this new virtual phone, restore your backup from the virtual desktop management software to the new.
  u could then use the mouse to go to the password manager and open the program. It will encourage u password and all the data is displayed.

I get an error message indicating that a file cannot be opened because it is an RTF file.   You must save the files as real documents Word on your PC first.

  WordToGo on your BlackBerry will open MS Word documents.
