  My old guard Installer and ask for copy of the installation is finish. Quite annoying because it takes so long to get there. Any advice would be appreciated. I've attached a screenshot of my error message.

  You created this problem by running a build already install on your development computer. If you are distributing drivers with your installer you should NEVER run the installation program on the machine on which you build.

  Here's what happens:

  All software shops NOR where it was installed since in the Windows registry. When you initially installed it note where you install (DVD, network drive, etc.).

  When you build an installer in TestStand will prompt for this location if it cannot find the original installation files (that is, if you take the DVD from the drive disconnected from the PC from the network, etc.)

  What happened on this PC is you have to build a Setup program, and then you run this installer on the PC, and because the pilots were already present it replaced the path stored in the registry with the path where your Installer (e.g.) was C:\Temp\long path)

  I'm guessing that you have now deleted this former Installer. That means that you have to re - run installers for ALL the software to, OR that you have installed on this machine so the registry is updated to point to the path of DVD or the network path.

  Everything has been fine until yesterday, but now I can't connect to my google home page. It seems to load incredibly slowly, then nothing happens - no message regarding connection problems or anything like that.

  Everything else works. Emails, applications, Blackberry world, Sky news vids etc etc, but no browser.

  Please try these steps and see if it helps:

  First clear the Cache of your browser: open your browser > press the Menu key > Options > scroll down to clear browsing data (mark all the field) and then click clean now. Once it is perform a battery pull reboot by removing the battery while your unit is powered, wait for a min. then reinsert back. After reboot check your browser if the problem resolves.

  Try it and tell us.

  Have you tried to reinstall the software of fingerprint?
  See the Toshiba page for the latest version of the software.
  First uninstall the previous fingerprint software and reboot the laptop.
  Clean the registry using the CCleaner and install the new downloaded version.

  My phone has been extremely slow, the time clock thing is for still running, and so my phone dies in 3 to 4 hours with no real use. I was told that it was because I need to update my OS but when I got home and plugged in it says that my phone is up to date and there is no upgrade available OS. I bought a spare battery to see if it was the problem and it is not. This is getting very frustrating. • InDesign cannot find the Adobe Pdf printer when saving as a postscript file

  In OS X 10.7.3, the adobe pdf printer is not present so that you can have a wrkarounf to create the postscript file.

  (1) quit InDesign.
  2) navigate to Applications/Adobe Indesign CS5/Presets /.
  (3) in the Presets', folder create a file called PPDs (the name of the file is case-sensitive).

  (4) control - click on the following link and choose Save link under download the Acrobat 9 PPD:

  (5) place a copy of the PPD downloaded into the folder created in step 3
  -After this restart the indesign.

  Chose the printer 'Postscript file', then PPD as "Adobe PDF 9.0" and make the postscript file.»

  I got a HP M1120 MFP printer/scanner and I was able to scan from external sources without problem. I've have this prnter and have acquired since the above printer/scanner. Now when I want to scan external software the new printer does not appear and the old is still there. How can I set this up so that the "Acquire" option lists the new printer and not the former? If I go to "choose Scan / TWAIN Source" I still than the old printer in option. I use Windows 7 Pro. I am able to print to the printer without problem. Thank you

  Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! I see you were used for scanning from external with your HP Laserjet M1120MFP software, now trying to accomplish the same function with your new HP Laserjet Pro MFP M125n, you see only the old LJ.

  I wish that you can remove the M1120MFP software from your Windows 7 computer, please follow the steps below:

  1. go to your control panel - uninstall a program option. You will see a list of all the programs installed on your computer

  2 Please pull out HP all software associated with LJ M1120 MFP

  3. restart the computer

  Now, I would like that run you HP print and scan doctor- it was designed by HP to offer users the features and troubleshooting problem needed to solve many common problems experienced with HP print and scan the products connected to the Windows PC.

• Delete a program in the "Program Files (x 86)" folder. Now cannot find the program under the folder "Program Data".

  Hello, I recently tried deletion of the infamous gorilla of my computer program. I went into Safe Mode to remove it properly. I removed the program under the "Program Files (x 86)" folder first, until I removed it from the "Program Data" folder. Now the program does not appear in the "Program Data" folder, and price of the gorilla is still installed on my computer. I really, REALLY want this formidable program removed from my computer. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!

• BlackBerry Smartphones new Curve 8330 and charge the battery/question already?

  Hi all

  I just got a new Curve 8330 last week.  I noticed that it takes ages to completely charge the phone when the battery only about 40%.  The other day it took about 5 hours to get to 100%, I use the power supply provided and also tried the USB cable with the software already installed.

  Tonight, it's about 60 percent, and I decided to load it.  After 3 hours or more, he went up to 45, then 40% and I was not still use it.  Battery icon is there (the icon of the card) then he recognizes it is connected.  I did the battery pull and wait another hour, another 40%.  Then another battery pull and still 40% after an hour.

  I came on this forum and saw the mention of the app QuickPull.  Downloaded it, ran it, and after it restarted, it had fallen to 5%!  Now, it says "low battery" and I do not really understand why.

  Until I started typing this post, I made an another battery pull and abandoned the USB plug.  It is now back up to 15%.  I am really hesitant to reach a store because the last time I brought my LG phone on a known battery problem (getting bulgy where you can spin) and they winded in my entire phone replacement

  Please let me know what I'd do here.  Is this a battery problem, phone licensing, etc.?  What my expectations are on acquire it quickly back to 100%?  I do not drain the battery that much.  It took two days so he can go down to 60%, but I do not understand why it takes so long to load and then it seems to perform when I plug.

  Thanks for your time.  I know this is a long post.  My battery is now 20%?  So he went from 5 to 20% in less than half an hour so confused.

  If you had access to another battery and/or charger, I suggest that you try to change one and if it does not, another permutation. You will have to perhaps just take the phone back, but if I were you, I would make them give me a new battery and charger, just to be safe, because it looks like one or the other may be bad.

• BlackBerry smartphones still post another life of the battery

  Before we begin, I'm more aware of the extension of the battery on my BB and is not a general groan on the battery life.

  I got my BB Torch for a few months of work, the battery life has never been a problem until now.  Last week, my company has changed our corporate servers, we had to reset and re sync our blackberries to the new server.  Of course that meant a complete reset was carried out.

  However, since the life of the battery on my Torch has been really bad.  5-6 hours max.  I wonder if there might be an application that is causing pain, but have no way to know.

  From your home screen, go to Options > device > application management.  At the top, make sure that the tab is 'CPU '.  That displays all the processes running on your phone.  You can see this screen that process might need to be looked at.

  Just got the Bold 9900-OS 7.1, saved a few pictures on the web but can't find them on the phone.  The only option to save the picture was ' me/user/documents' and I can't find it on the phone.  Anyone know where I can find it?  Thank you very much.

  Because my phone got ran, I am currently using a Blackberry Curve 9320 in which I bought from a friend. I went to the Virgin Mobile.ca and activated my sim card and phone online, and then when I thought that he said, that it has been saved successfully, it says SIM NOT CONFIGURE 2

  I'm having the worst luck and am so lost without phone. I don't know what that means, but I Googled it and got many different answers. If someone who has experienced this before can let me know what they think, that would be greatly appreciated.

  If you receive this error message then the SIM card is not connected, or there is a fault with it. If customer services say they have linked the number but you are still having problems, then it is likely that a replacement SIM card will fix this for you. It could also be due to the phone being locked to the carrier of your friend.

  Now BBM maybe missing a few reasons:
  (1) it is hidden
  (2) it has been uninstalled
  (3) if it's a business device, he could have been disabled.

  Forgive my ignorance. I tried to upgrade to a new version of Facebook, but after update I couldn't find it listed anywhere. Then, I went in AppWorld and installed again. When I go now in AppWorld it says "Installed", but again once I find it. (I never downloaded anything in AppWorld more.) Thoughts?

  1. on your home screen, press Menu > SHOW ALL, so that ALL DISPLAY is checked.
  2. look in EVERY folder on your device... Applications, instant messaging, downloads, etc.

  If you don't see it still, look at the Options > advanced > Applications. Do you not see it listed there?

  Please can someone help me. I just got a replacement for my Blackberry Torch 9810 camera, as my old laptop had a flaw.  I backed up all my files, media etc. through the desktop software on my PC and successfully restored to my new camera.  I'm having trouble linking my hotmail account to my new camera. Whenever I try to put in place through the Setup Wizard, I get the message "the Blackberry Enterprise Server has not responded to your activation request. An error has occurred. " I get my e-mail address and password correctly whenever I try to connect, I also do not touch activation emails I get in my hotmail Inbox. I think the problem is that I have not been added to the BlackBerry Enterprise Server. Please can someone help me here?

  In fact, unless you're on BES (and HotMail is definitely NOT BES), then you must stay away the company setting completely. Rather, on this screen, if you do not also have a choice for personal electronic mail or on Internet, then your BB/account is not properly configured with your carrier.
