BlackBerry Smartphones BB - Firewall error

Hi all

After the BB has been successfully activated, but I see error ' some databases could not sync: Firewall Options ", I know who got an idea to solve these issues.

Model BB - 8707

Thank you.

Kind regards

BH Yeo

This error rarely has any negative effects. It simply means that the firewall options doesn't synchronize with the BES. Not a big deal, IMO. You could go bother to empty the firewall options before you activate on the BES, but, personally, I had just leave that would be.

  • BlackBerry smartphones built by error media

Hai, I am from Indonesia (I don't know if this help), I use 9810, a week ago I received a message 'built by mistake of the media' and asked if I want to fix, so I clicked on the button repair, and it worked, the integrated media has been recovered. But still, my bb has been frozen (the screen is frozen) so I removed the battery, and then I get the new message built by mistake of the media, so I clicked on the button repair, but this time I got a message that my integrated media required to put in shape. So I did the action of formatting, I lost my photos, my ringtones, etc, but even once, it went well. Until today, my 9810 got a little still frozen so I removed the battery and got the built in media error message again? Now I'm confused, I thought that the action of formatting solved my previous problem, but he'll be back once again? Can someone tell me what is happening? What should I do if the problem persists? I don't want to lose my photos, music etc all the time, can anyone help? Thank you before.

Hi everyone help me please Ive got the app code error coming up on my phone when I start, but all advise them at the moment can said to connect to Desktop Manager but I can't the phone turns because of the error code! Counsel gratefully received thanks to all

    (1) make sure that you have Blackberry Desktop Manager installed.
    http://NA.BlackBerry.com/eng/services/desktop/
    (2) on your PC, go to start > run and copy and paste the following line exactly (i.e. with quotation marks):

    'c:\program files\common research in motion\apploader\loader.exe' /nojvm

    (3) the Application Loader Wizard will appear - click on "next".
    (4) in the ' connection: ' drop-down menu, you should see "USB - PIN: UNKNOWN". Click on the button "next".
    (5) you should see a list of applications ready to be installed for your Blackberry. Press Next and finish, and that you are well on your way to get your Blackberry to life. Congratulations! Just unplug and let the process finish completely.

NOTE: If you do not display the list of applications mentioned in step 5 and instead to see the message "the Blackberry Desktop Software has no Blackberry Device Software for the device you have connected to the computer. Contact your wireless service provider or system administrator', then you must download the Blackberry operating system for your support and your device.
    http://www.BlackBerryFAQ.com/index.php/BlackBerry_Operating_System_Downloads
Just select the appropriate type of carrier and network, select your Blackberry model from the list and download the latest version. Install this download and follow the steps above again and you should be on the right track.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones untrapped Exception error messages

    Hi nGuys,

I was sent an email with a large attachment with it and now I can't access my emails or send texts?

Whenever I try, I am presented with this error message: -.

"Eception exception: java.long.array Indexoutofboundsexception' and an 'OK' button."

When I click this, (in the vain hope that everything will be OK from here in, it disconnects from the app and I'm at square one!)

That's why making the phone useless.

When I contacted Blackberry support, it says that he does not know of "Eception exception: java.long.array Indexoutofboundsexception'?"

Little help would be greatly appreciated: -.

Hello and welcome to the community!

There is virtually no diagnosis of those - they are the equivalent of random errors in Windows for which trace the root cause is futile. Basically, here's the last out in the programming code - some event occurred for which there is no event handler in the code. The patch is an update of the code that handles the event... but, again, what is the event is almost impossible. So, there are a few things to try:

Sometimes, the code simply is damaged and needs to be updated - just like a reboot:

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

There may be a code updated to the value of the carrier - check out them through this Portal:

The toughest possible causes are a bad application behave. To find it, there are two options. Is to see if you can read the log file:

Go to the home screen. Hold down the "alt" key and type "lglg". (You won't see anything as you type). This will bring up the log file. Scroll down (probably a lot of pages) until you see a line that says "eception execption. Click on this line. The application name will be in the info. Alternative methods to implement the newspapers are in this KB:

    • KB05349 How to activate, view, and extract the the event logs on a BlackBerry smartphone

The other method is to remove the apps one at a time, wait a while between the two (I usually recommend a week), until the problem stops... revealing the offending application. Yet another method is to recharge the BB OS itself, leaving little time between the addition of other applications on the BB in order to be able to determine exactly what is the cause.

That's an interesting statement... exactly how did you get that? As in, who did you call? RIM offers zero support to front line for BBs... only via the escalation of a carrier can you receive free support from RIM. You go through your carrier?

Good luck and let us know!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones eception exception error when entering the "Messages".

I have a client who uses a Blackberry World Edition (8830) and when it tries to go in Messages (by clicking on the Messages icon) it gets this error message all the time: uncaught Exception: java.lang.null.pointer

I tried 2 types of resets, alt + Cap + del and tried to remove the battery when the BB is running and the same thing, I did a hard reset, that is wiping the BB and customer has left me a message this morning that he always gets the same error message.

My BES Console (synchronize us with Domino servers on a Lotus Notes platform), I see that he has the

    version of the 3.0.0.81 platform

    The BlackBerry version: 4.2.2.196

His blackberry had a Bell Mobility service.

At present, the only other thing I can think of is to download the operating system and reload it on the BB using Desktop Manager.

Can someone help me with this please.  I appreciate all the help.

    * Update - my client turned on his blackberry with the BES this morning and sent a message that, after activation, the problem seems to be resolved.  Now, is there something different that can be done in case this happens again, we have more than 800 users of blackberry and most of them have the 8830 model.

    Hello

Your troubleshooting actions have been directly on the money, I see.

HRT is the host Routing Tables. It's entries sent by the carrier.

When you highlight the entry above and you click on register now, he recorded with the wireless network. Update the details of the device on the relay of the rim and down icons specific carrier or applicants

I think that the problem existed in an application corrupted on the smartphone users, by recording the phone, the application

has been refreshed. It's the first time I've seen this particular exception message solved without device

reload. (Just for reference I read messages 133150).

  • BlackBerry Smartphones OS update error

I have updated the Smartphone OS Blackberry Bold 9790 version 7.1 with Blackberry Desktop Software and the site, but warned that: "There was an error in updating your software!"
You experienced any remedy please help me, thanks!

Update you the software or the error popped up in the middle of the update? My advice is rather download software on your PC first before update. Make a direct update by internet is delicate especially if you don't have a reliable, continuous connection to the internet. If there is a delay or the connection is cut off, you will not be able to complete the update.

    Hello

I don't understand what you mean by application to open a Web site as opposed to stationary application?

    • On one side you have shortcuts. They are on the home screen or in a folder of the home screen. When clicked, it opens a website. These shortcuts are similar to Favorites, but with an icon.
    • on the other side you have applications. For example when you open Notepad, it opens the application that is installed on your device.
    • You affirm that you are unable to open any application (as opposed to shortcuts), if that's true, then I suggest you try with the Messages app, MemoPad application and the browser.

Notepad is an application of RIM, that can be uninstalled. If nothing works, you can probably go to your support of carrier and ask them to correct it.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones is App Error: 603 reset the Blackberry Torch device

I get App error: 603 reset the blackberry torch. And not able to get others on the screen. I tried to reload the OS, but in Office Manager, display of 'Connection', but not able to connect the device correctly. So update and all other options in the Desktop Manager are disabled. How can I reload OS for torch 9800 without Desktop Manager.

    Help, please.

    Thanks in advance.

Please use the following steps to reload your software:

Download an application on your computer called BBSAK (BlackBerry Swiss Army Knife). You use it to wipe the operating system of your device. You can get it here: www.bbsak.org

Download the latest OS for your device, you can get here. https://swdownloads.BlackBerry.com/downloads/entry.do?code=9461CCE28EBE3E76FB4B931C35A169B0

Connect your device to your PC and start BBSAK. It will ask you a password. If you don't have a game for your device, simply click OK.

Choose the option to wipe device. Once completed, you will be left with a blank screen and an app 507 error, which means that the wipe has been a success.

    Unplug your unit.

On your PC, navigate to C:\Program Files\Common research in Motion\AppLoader. Delete the file in the lower part called vendor.xml.

    Connect your device.

In this same folder as shown above, there is an executable file called Loader (has a small telephone next to him). Double click on that and it will start loading your OS.

    Hi @hmorzariya,

    I see two options:

    1. the 'UltraLiteJ - 3.cod' the file has not been signed with success.

    2. the "RIM-COD-SHA1-5' does not match."

    3. the size of the cod is missing.

Signed the file on your own?

I think you might need to update the JAD after that you sign the COD file...

I've updated my "BOLD" using the Blackberry Desktop Manager on my computer, it took about 20 minutes, because it seems to read, save, stripout and reloading, which seems to have solved the problem.
