BlackBerry Smartphones BB Manager stops when synchronizing my calendar

I have the Verizon's BB 8830

BB OS: v4.5.0.138

PC OS: Vista Business

Version of Outlook: 2007

DM BB version: 5.0

The 1st month, synchronization has worked fine every day, but the last few weeks whenever synchronization allows you to "schedule of treatment device", the Manager no longer works and stops.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled the crib, but that did not work.

Any help and suggestions are appreciated.

Thank you.

This response of mlund2009 on another post worked for me:

1. connect your BB and start the BB Desktop Manager.

2. in the main Menu, will back up and restore.

3. in the backup and the restore menu go to advanced.

4. If a window opens stating "this application must use the mass storage Mode...". ', click 'no '.

5. after the handshake with your BB, you will see a window of computer databases on the left and a window of databases of device on the right. In the databases of the device window, calendar scroll and select everything that has the word calendar (this will probably be: calendar, calendar-All, & Calendar Options). You to select all by pressing Ctrl-all with a left click on them).

6. Once selected, click on the delete button. All calendar items will be deleted from your BB.

7. click on return, which takes you back to the menu backup and restore.

8. click on the main menu.

9. click on synchronize.

10. click on the button synchronize in the middle of the screen to the Desktop Manager and your device will resync, fixed the problem of calendar.

He warned that "I noticed, however, that the problem has crept back ago about three days (a few weeks after I fixed it the first time). I went through the same process that it corrects again. I suspect there may still be a few bugs between Outlook and the Desktop Manager or some of us have just a few corrupted data periodically enters the system. »

So, we'll see. It's a little scary to do this b/c it erases the calendar items on the BB, but I've printed all my calendar Outlook items and checked all against my BB, and they were all there.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks for the reply yancy.

This error message do you receive?  You only synchronize Ical or Entourage?

To forget the camera, go to device > forget device.  Unplug the BlackBerry, re-connect the Mac.

  • Update blackBerry Smartphones / Device Manager issue

Hey guys, I have a problem.

I recently acquired a Blackberry 8330 and let me start by saying this: it's one of the best machines I've ever held. It is simply amazing.

I installed the Device Manager and have been using it without any problem. Then, I went and did an update wireless with my phone, the upgrade of the OS. Since I did this, however, the Manager has recently stopped recognizing my device - my computer recognizes him again, as he charges when it is plugged in and I can always access to the hard drive, but for some reason, I cannot use the Device Manager to do anything - down, States in the Device Manager there is no trendy Black Berry as shown by the 'None' exposed next to the Pin number.

What can I do? I really need to access blackberry via the Device Manager. Someone, please help > _

    Things I've tried:

-Restart the Blackberry (both by pressing the red button and pull the battery and re insert)

-Update the device to the more recent version Manager

-The latest version is uninstalled, then download and install the version provided with the blackberry (4.2)

I noticed that the CD that came with the device itself does not contain the most recent edition of the Device Manager, if that means anything. It's just weird that the Device Manager has stopped working after I upgraded. Currently, my OS is V4.5.0.175. I've recently updated both my 8310 Black Berry - same question parents. Before, I could access it via Device Manager. Now, I can't. Please help me!

Recently, two Workstations have had their media manager stop working. When the blackberry is connected to the computer and looked in the Media Manager, images on the blackberry developed as gray with a tiny band of pixels in the image at the top. When the images are transferred to the PC they hold it. When images are sent from the blackberry to the PC images find very well.

    We have reinstalled nothing doesn't.

Workstations are 2 XP with all service packs except SP 3. Desktop BlackBerry 4.3

I installed 4.5 just above the previous version and seem to have the issue resovled. The interface is substantially different.

    Hello

Your troubleshooting actions have been directly on the money, I see.

HRT is the host Routing Tables. It's entries sent by the carrier.

When you highlight the entry above and you click on register now, he recorded with the wireless network. Update the details of the device on the relay of the rim and down icons specific carrier or applicants

I think that the problem existed in an application corrupted on the smartphone users, by recording the phone, the application

  • Problems of synchronization to blackBerry Smartphones: Run Time Error when MS Outlook is applied

I just got the Curve 8330 and recorded the telephone and e-mail. I had an older Blackberry and my outlook 2003 address book and calendar synced perfectly using Desktop Manager. I installed the latest version supplied on cd-rom with the curve and the installation was successful. I then tried to set up sync and tried to apply the synchronization with ms outlook and that's when the problem occurred.

    1. I opened the Desktop Manager and clicked on sync.

2 click on the albums configuration tab

    3. I then clicked on configure synchronization.

    4 selected address book

    5. the next page listed available desktop applications and I chose MS Outlook

    6 then I select the two-way synchronization

    7. after clicking Next, I get this ERROR of EXECUTION: section of the Application is not based on files.

I tried to uninstall the Office Director and reinstalled from the blackberry website. Still, I got the same message. Then I found the link below and concluded that there are ducts that connect the Outlook for Office Manager and for some reason, there is an error that is there. I did not quite understand how to solve the problem of the information provided on the troubleshooting link. I could not add the link that has been interrupted or lost by installing the new Manger of office. The link I found is below and I was wondering if there was a way to manually bind the office and Outlook. Please provide a way that novice computer person can implement.

    Hello

Here is a solution I tried after lookng through various forums and type of works for me. A common thing in most of the solutions is to take the battery and sim card out, leave like this for 1-2 hours and put them, I found back in and turn it on. I'm not sure of the logic behind it, but I remember reading that this overshadow the phone battery problems (connected incorrectly - essentially a reset) and begins to charge.

I tried it 2 days back and I see that it worked for me, at least until now. I cross my fingers.

I hope it's useful, works at least for few of you.

Thank you all for the suggestions.

  • Doesn´t blackBerry Smartphones ring my BB when they call me

The sound works perfectly, because I can listen to music I ve transferred to the BB. But for a few hours, my blackberry doesn´t make sounds when people are trying to reach me (sms or phone calls), even if it vibrates.
I ve checked the parameters (Normal) profile, and all the sounds are in volume 5, when I try the button 'experience' on the profile settings I can´t listen to anything.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you guys

With the BlackBerry device under voltage, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery to restart.

Now have a friend calls you and test it.

  • Curve of blackBerry Smartphones will not synchronize with Outlook 2007 calendar

    First the specs:

    BB 8330 m (CDMA) - Cellular South - running v 4.5.0.127
    Win XP Pro SP3
    Outlook 2007
DM is v 5.0.0 B28 multilingual - with Media Manager
    No BES

    The problem:

Although the phone and Outlook calendar had been able to synchronize (either via Bluetooth or USB) for centuries without problem, which, obviously, is no longer the case.

There is no error message.  Contacts, tasks, and Notepad (also through Outlook) always sync without problem. Verification of synchronization with all categories, the value sync log shows all the programs that synchronize, without making any mention of the calendar.  If you synchronize with only the timing checked, no log is created, and the synchronization bar stops for a few seconds to one Moment please... step and then flashes. This isn't a shared calendar.

Measures already taken, in no particular order:

Insured email address appropriate defined as CICAL, removed other CICAL service books.

Reset the Configuration of the synchronization

Tried different USB ports (although, as indicated, other programs synchro)

    Control Panel-Add/Remove Programs, repaired DM.

DM backup and restore: BB saved, then deleted all entries in calendar-All

Confirmed that H - key current user and Local Machine had the proper authorization

    File Intelisync deleted

Insured that Microsoft Outlook is set as default email in Internet Options

Resets BB hard and frequent restarts of the computer throughout the process.

There were probably a few other simple actions taken which I forgot to list.

Last effort: DM uninstalled and reinstalled so that at the same time hard reset of BB.

Another thing that is probably not related, but I spend in case:

"" While looking for all the foregoing, I used only the "dossiers\ personal calendar" in the goal specific decision on this failure to synchronize the question, I've always previously synchronized two calendars: PersonalFolders\Calendar and PersonalFolders\Calendar\SubCalendar, with the calendar from the subfolder to set as default.  So everything that I put on my BB calendar synchronized to Subcalendar on the PC, while PC's SubCalendar synchronized to the unique calendar on the BB and calendar.  Trying to set that upward again after all the steps above didn't, I see not what can be a problem.  While in the window folder mapping, it says calendar <--->2 folders mapped to the left of the map files button, it says 1 or mapped files.  Now, I suppose that he said this because a calendar is one subfolder of the other, but I throw it out there just in case, in fact, it is significant.

I thank you in advance for your suggestions, you can offer.

Try to remove all the service books "Email_Address [CICAL]" and synchronize after that.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones sync wants to delete the old calendar entries

My apologies if this has been taken up, but I have not been able to find.   I have a BB Curve and the Blackberry Desktop Software.  Since the update to 7.1.0 Bundle 2879 on the phone, that I can't sync with Outlook without deleting all the passes of the calendar entries. (My BB Desktop Software is 7.1.0.41 Bundle 42.)  I have the camera set to keep keep always the appointments.  I ran a synchronization with the one-way set to sync software from the computer to the device that does not ask to remove all entries from the old, but when I switch back to the two-way synchronization he still wants to delete all the passes the calendar on the device entries.

You have options in the tab of the organizer for the calendar by clicking Configure. From there, there, you can choose to synchronize all calendar entries. This should be a resolution. In addition, there are options to control more which allows to synchronize by clicking the Advanced button.

If you want to control the amount of calendar data consider rest on your cell phone...

I had problems with handling the appts Blackberry in the past where - when an appt is deemed be removed from the mobile device - it removed also Outlook! This should NEVER be--but WAS. It is thus a better 'political' to have your BB synchronize all appts and control how much will remain on your phone by using the Outlook archiving functionality. When calendar items move to your archive, then you can see appts should be deleted from your phone, but they will just be appts 'old' according to what you install.

And no matter - before make you a new synchronization or changes which may react unexpectedly...

Make a backup of your Outlook file just in case!

    I hope this helps.

  • Manager of Communications cell phones blackBerry Smartphones RIM has stopped working

    Hello

Today, I found my trackpad on my BB9900 had ceased to work for any scrolling. I could still use it as a button to select something, but not to move. So after the reboot to check that I had installed any new software or applications during the last month or so and even pulling the battery... I know that I know that it still did not work.

I then plugged on my laptop to try reloading software. When I did he wanted to update BB Desktop Manager. So of course I did. (BTW the BB connected at this stage) After the update when you try to connect the BB all I get is this error "RIM Handheld Communications Manager has stopped working". I restarted the laptop and the BB just to be sure, but nothing. Now, I have a BB that doesn't scroll and BBDTM which does not connect. Advice?

Either by the way, I also tried changing trackpad sensitivity and turning on an audible scroll but it did not a difference, nor I heard no sound scroll.

  • BlackBerry smartphone how to stop email account Gmail - but keep it registered for the calendar?

I have a secondary e-mail (Gmail) account that I use for my Google Calendar, so I need to save to maintain synchronized calendar on my Blackberry.

But I don't want emails from this account sent to my Blackberry.  (Emails from this account are already sent to my main account, so now I get double e-mails on my Blackberry which is irritating, especially since they come from different times.)

How can I stop my Blackberry to get e-mails from the account side, while keeping this one only for the calendar?

    Thanks for the tips!

BTW, I prefer not to rely on or to pay for an app of the add-on. I guess it's a feature of basic Blackberry that I just can't understand.  I have also tried my provider, Verizon, Web site, but found nothing relevant.

    OK, not difficult at all.

Set up your gmail account to push the BlackBerry, as it looks like you already have.

Now, back to the account setup BIS, where you entered your email and password for this account and click the FILTERS.

Choose notto transfer messages to the device. The change is saved automatically.
