    Hello

the laptop turns off by itself after 2 seconds when I turn it on. This happens if I shutted down or choosed hibernate before (Win8.1).

This means hibernation is not at all useable.

The next time I turn it on it works quite normal! Sleep mode works as well. Standby mode it is ready for use after open them both as a repetitive. Fascinating!

I looked on all the settings of the BIOS, but I found nothing what could be the reason for this behavior.

Perhaps there is a correlation with another strange behavior. The battery will not be charged over 80%. I do not use the green mode. I have to turn off the laptop and remove the battery completely for a minute. After inserting and booting Win8.1 what it charges again at 100%.

The discharge time is approximately 3.5 hours. Otherwise, the battery is ok.

But after the next discharge up to 10% charge that up to 80% more.

These two effects are not normal. But I don't think (or better, I hope) that there is a material defect.

Is there a chance does not post the laptop to a repair service?

    Best regards

    Onurbi

Hey man it are so strange problems and it's not easy to say what to do. All you can do is to install the original recovery image and test with the settings once more, of course without changing anything or install updates or additional applications.

If possible to do this and test it for a while.
    > Is there a chance does not post the laptop to a repair service?
As you probably know your possibilities to do something about this are very limited and if there is permanent problem I think you should contact the closest service Toshiba and clarify all of this.
You have the new laptop model and it should work properly. If you are not happy and there are service problems Toshiba should take are about it and help you.

  • System Restore will turn off by itself.

It happened, but rarely and without apparent cause or sequelae. Larely, it was repetitive, once again no reason apparent, but apparently interconnected with the sudden disappearance of HP Quickplay, also by itself. My two scans, MSE and MBAM didn't pick up malware.

I have since restored to an even better version PS. My PC works fine without apparent probs.

I checked SR seconds ago and it is powered and creating RP of as usual.  But an individual isolation of SR is very troubling. How prevent it from happening again?

    Hi Coolnewyorker,

Thanks for posting in the Microsoft Community. I understand that the system restore will automatically close on the windows vista computer.

I apologize for the inconvenience and no need to worry I'll be more than happy to help you.

    1. What antivirus application do you use on the computer?
    2. did you of recent changes to the computer before this problem?

Follow the steps and check if that helps.

    Method 1
Check the status of the shadow copy volume service. If it is, then try to restart the VSS service and check.
    (a) click Start, type services.msc in the start search.
    (b) search for the shadow copy Volume service.
    (c) make a right click on the Volume Shadow Copy service (VSS) and select Properties. Check if it is started.
    (d) if it is stopped, select start or restart. Make sure that the service is started and set as automatic.
    (e) click on apply and OK, if you make changes.

    Method 2
You can also try temporarily disabling computer security software and check if it makes a difference. If the system restore works fine after you turn off the anti-virus, you can contact the manufacturer of security software and check if you need to change the settings
    Disable the antivirus software
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/disable-antivirus-software
Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network during the time that your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

    Method 3
Put the computer in a clean boot state to see if there is a software conflict as the clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135
Note: After you have performed the steps in the clean boot troubleshooting, follow step 7 the link to start the computer to a Normal startup mode.

Let us know the status of the issue and if you need help I'll be more than happy to help you.
  • BlackBerry smartphone wifi not turn off on 9810

I just bought a torch 9810 today. Wi - fi does not turn off even after unchecking the box. It comes on automatically even after I unchecked the box. Help?

Try a battery pull if you please, with the BlackBerry device powered on, remove the battery 15 seconds and then reinsert the battery to reboot the device. This will clear all hide as restarting a PC. Then try again and see if the problem persists.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Radio device turn off? T.T

Hello. I just bought my blackberry phone and I want to download app world! I am facing a problem called radio turn off device? I do not understand what am I supposed to do. Please help me!

Blackberry app world is accessible via the server of your service provider's blackberry so that you cannot be used outside of a data plan. There are apps from third party like Whatsapp, Google Maps that you can download from the browser.

To access internet using data for navigation charges and your network provider downloads follow these steps:

Go to the Options - Advanced Options - browser - configuration of the default browser change to your provider e.g. vodafone, you can also open the WAP written icon.

If you are in a place where BIS is available I suggest you get a plan costing about US$ 8 as using packets of data will cost much, BRI is paid for once every month and not by its use in most cases. We hope that you respond.

  • Equium A100 - 02L - backlighting will turn off by itself

Hi people, I have another strange problem on a Toshiba laptop and I hope someone can tell me where to find a solution.

The laptop turns on ok and post ok, screen is fully informed and nice n bright. Immediately after the POST the back light turns off, leaving me with an almost unreadable screen.

First thought was obviously backlight inverter, the light was turned off in the bios also screen. It has been replaced twice with the same question.
Next thought was the screen, also replaced with the same result.
The only thing I can think of now would be sensor hibernation or the motherboard itself. I do not see the sensor cover on this model and I don't want to think about whether the motherboard until everything else is excluded.

Any advice would be greatly received, thanks in advance.

    Hello

Have you tried an external monitor to your laptop computer? It would be interesting to know what is happening there. Maybe the same thing happens here or not.
    Check this box!

Normally I would also say that it s ups the FL, but you have already replaced it. By the way: you did it replace yourself and have you taken a Toshiba original spare part or another?

A friend also replaced me the FL inverter but with Toshiba no spare part. He worked only a few weeks

  • What to do when iPhone 6 will turn off by itself?

I've had my iPhone since June of 2015 6. I have always been careful enough with it and have never broken broken screen or caused dents in the aluminum body. At the beginning of January 2016 (this year), I had not had a single case on my iPhone and he got up on the table and accidentally drop playing with it. When I picked up back, the screen completely faded and discolored unusual and then turns off completely. The screen went black and regardless of how many times I tried to turn it on, restart it or to load, it still lights. I went to the Sprint store two days after using watch it. The person helping me to told me it would be about a two-hour wait. I come back to the left, after an hour and 45 minutes, and the employee told me that they could not find what the problem and gave me a replacement. The replacement has acted since with it restarts itself when not in use. For example, if I use my iPhone for 30 minutes straight, it would be turned off after that I locked and would not come until after about 20 minutes of me trying to restart it. A red screen might flash just before going off as well. Unfortunately, this happens at least once every day. I tried to go back to the Sprint store, and told me to try the Apple Store. I have not tried to make an appointment and go for the moment. Are there solutions to the problem that I am experiencing that I can do myself or is that called to replace another?

First of all, you should have taken the first device at the Apple Store, because they are the ones who run the service under warranty, and the unit was still under warranty. Your replacement the Sprint device, it is unclear what kind of device you have received from Sprint, and that can not be under warranty. I recommend that you make an appointment at the Genius Bar to the nearest Apple Store to have this unit looked at and whether she has any guarantee in this regard. It could be a device that Sprint provided you may not have any warranty on this topic and Sprint messed up you the 6 month warranty on your iPhone. The flash screen you describe looks like a hardware problem.

  • TouchSmart 600-1315xt will turn off by itself

My subject PC that is running Windows 7 turns off on its own when it is sitting idle for some time. When in use, it works very well and when you stop screen saver will come after 10 minutes, then after sitting idle for 30 minutes it will fit off the coast. If someone knows what could be the problem?

The Power Options in Windows 7 settings would be the second thing to check after inspecting admission and exhaust ports of your PC. If there is any dust bunnies blocking the air circulation while there could be quite a show of heat that could cause the CPU to stop the system.

    Best regards

  • Satellite A30 554 will turn off by itself.

My Satellite A30 554 for a reason any began to turn off on its own after working for a while or even during startup. This happens both in Win XP and SUSE 10.0. I used the CD recovery to format the entire hard drive and reinstall the system and even during this computer just turned off, so it's sort of a problem material I think. Suddenly, this thing started to happen as early as last week. I have also had problems with before starting - just get a black screen instead of system startup, but usually remove the battery and put the rank or start once helped. Computer two years ago, and I think the warranty is over. What may be the cause of the problem and what can I do now to solve?

    Hello

Sometimes the notebooks closed because of overheating problems. There are a few reasons why units overheat. One of the reasons is the Sales cooling fans. Fans don property t work because of dust inside the laptop. In this case, I recommend to check the ventilation openings and clean it. You can use the vacuum to suck up dust.

  • Record will turn off by itself

I have a Sansa Clip + 4 GB and like it a lot.  He plays very well and when he records it superbly.

However, when I want to record a class, I start recording, put it in reverse so that the microphone is pointing towards the sound source.

I come back later and find the turned entire drive, and when I go to play the record, it's a few minutes of time, while the class was an hour of time.

    I'm doing something wrong?

You can sleep under tension, so it turns off after a certain period of time?

You have enough free space (memory) to record for the hour? These things recorded in WAV format, so they use a lot of memory for recording space.
