Ive had my curve of blackberry for about 2 months now, and yesterday and now my BBM and Internet left for no reason at all.
IM on contract with virgin and have BBM & unlimited Internet.
How can I fix it?

You did almost everything you need to clean things up. Change your real email passwords will prevent BIS to access these accounts, even if a BIS account should always exist. To actually eliminate the BIS account, you must contact the support by which you created it... carriers manage BIS accounts for their customers. My email has been hacked so I put a new password and added security. It's all good. But the e-mail messages are not delivered to my blackberry until I have validate the new password on BlackBerry Internet Service. I can't access the Internet Service of BlackBerry - on my device, under settings, email accounts, Internet e-mail, he asked my user name and password. The service is provided by your operator, then Yes, the only way to activate your blackberry completely is to change carriers.

I also ran a diagnostic test and the report reads the following:
Radio access: EDGE
BlackBerry registration: No.
Connected to BlackBerry: give up.
PIN - BlackBerry PIN: give up.
What should I do next? I used my BlackBerry for about 18 months now and this is the first time that I had problems connecting to the internet service. I subscribed to the monthly plan for blackberry services.

Update the password for [email protected] in the Blackberry Internet Service! The e-mail messages are not delivered to your BlackBerry. To resume receiving messages email to this email address, update the password in the Blackberry Internet Service.
The thing is that my password for this e-mail account has not changed, so I was confused as to why am I being asked to update. I tried anyway. I was unable to. So I contacted my ISP technical support. They suggested I remove entirely the BIS account and then add again. I deleted the account and now I am unable to add. When I try to add I get the following message:
1. an error occurred during validation of the email account. Please check your information and try again.
All the info, as I entered are correct. Why is - BIS is no longer recognizing my email?

I recently spent to use the Blackberry Internet Service for Blackberry Redirector to my work email. We use Exchange Server with Outlook 2003. After a few days, I realized that redirector does not handle attachments. So I, once more, uninstalled Blackberry Desktop and re-installed to use Blackberry Internet Service (BIS) my email. BIS is working very well and I received my emails with their attachments. BUT I keep getting these emails generated by the server who say:

You're BIS correct is the Blackberry Internet service.
If you go through the icon to setup e-mail on your phone, you will actually the site of the BIS.
If you can not change your signature through the device, you can connect to a PC Web site.

Hello. Thank you in advance for the answer to my question. I am trying to create a mail filter so that the messages do not contact delivered to my BB and instead just go directly to my regular email account. I understand that you can do this function of the BIS, however when I tried to create an account, I received a message that says "Please use your device to access the BIS." I did everything as the message told me, but I don't have the same menu options of my BB that I had to do since internet. The page showed only a list of emails and a choice of 'Edit' and 'delete' for each of them. There was no "Filter" button for me to click. I remember some time ago I could access this page and was able to remove the signing of BB (i.e.. "This message is sent to a BB"), so I know that it was possible to access this page. I don't know why I am not able to access now.
If someone out there has Verizon and knows how to access the BIS, please let me know how. Or if you know how to create an e-mail filtering function, please let me know.
To connect to your account BIS from a PC/browser (not the BB browser), go to this address:

Got my first BB is the 9700 and I believe that my company doesn't have not BES, I must connect on my BIS via a computer to set up my work email (Microsoft Exchange Server). After having read about it and try, I get an error message on the Web site of my provider which basically means that I need to change the connection mode for a BlackBerry Internet Service account. the link provided should have addressed your question, if you "can't get there from here" - I would suggest that you contact your carrier because they need to move your account password enabled allowing connect you via a non - BB browser to set up your BIS email setting...

The BIS website is your carrier web page, sign in to your account and update the password, this procedure is only for hotmail accounts.
If you have mail setup icon on your device you can do from there.

FYI - these forums are a chain of support to users, not a conduct of user-to-RIM. Frontline for BB is, contractually, not provided by RIM. Companies and authorized resellers are responsible for the front line of official support to end users. It is possible to bypass your carrier and request direct assistance from the RIM, but this generates costs, since you are without your support contract with your carrier. The "Support & Services" tab to the top of the forum pages provide information on this subject. But, if you go through your carrier for support, they can degenerate into RIM without cost to you if they choose to.
So, with all this, your line must stay with your carrier, so that they can worsen your case for you and find the answers you want without incurring costs to do. Don't forget to worsen after their initial support and up to their people to support BB... they generally have the best information that people from the front line.
