  After installing the upgrade did you do a battery pull?

  No data will be lost when you do the following: remove the battery while the device is activated.
  Remplacer replace after one minute, let the device reboot 1-3 min, see if the problem is corrected.

• BlackBerry Z10 bbm display picture does not change

  Recently, I tried to change the RFP of Bbm in my z10, it changes for me but my friends cannot see updates.

  It has been 2 weeks that my Bbm dp is stuck to my friends.

  I've tried everything. Remove the battery, restart, blah blah. I read somewhere that I can reload the operating system. But who will delete everything that I don't want to do that.

  Can anyone help please. How can I solve this? Is it possible to reinstall messenger Bbm in z10?

  Finally after a long dispute repair my flashlight, I decided to buy the 9320 curve, which I eventually did. Essentially, the bb is installed with BBM version 6.2. When I change my Dp it not turned to day, nor that I can view my DP friends. I heard that BBM 6.2 was such a problem, so is anyway to fix this or need to download the old version?

  problem solved. A reboot and my photos are starting to get the update. Some photo of my friends are not displayed. Maybe if they change the RFP then it will begin to update. In any case been solved

  Yes you need a Blackberry data plan to access blackberry application, and if you're going to another country for a visit call your carrier to activate roaming for you

  So it is best to call your provider tell then what services you need and let it activate it for you.

  I noticed that when I try to change my display picture that does not actually updated in the network. In other words, people still see my old picture instead of the new. Now, it's happening for multiple users on my BBM. I see people update their profile messages complaining that their isn't changing either.

  I thought it was something related to the carrier, but people who use different carriers have complained about the same. Can you please advise or worsen it?

  The problem has been fixed. I can now change my display picture. I guess it was a temporary problem. You can try yours now and try it with a different one that you have your display picture...

  I guess the moral of the story is, if many people with these problems a bit, just wait a bit. the folks at RIM will be noticed & repair.

  Why won't your bbm display picture I wiped the phone reset everything. I waited a month and still nothing happened. It shows me that its has changed but my friends don't always see! Help, please!

  Yesterday I bought a Blackberry 3 G (9300) mobile. I have inserted my sim card from my iPhone and proceeded to add contacts, etc. I was then informed that I couldn't use the services of Blackberry without having a Blackberry bolt - on on my account. I bought this bolt on and I am still yet to be able to connect and use the services on the mobile such as Facebook or mobile web browser. My friend who is well-versed in BlackBerry told me that my phone was not downloading the service books correct to connect to these applications.

  I currently use the phone with 3rd party Twitter applications (so I can connect to the internet).

  My network provider is o2UK, I have a data plan and I also have a bolt blackberry we activated.

  My internet settings under TCP IP are below:
  APN: payandgo.o2.co.uk
  APN username: payandgo
  APN password: password

  In my view, that the question is registration of the device to obtain the correct service books.

  The bolt is active (it came as ready to use when I registered on the site Web of O2).

  I have no idea what fixed my problem, but this morning the 3G logo on the top right of my phone has changed for a 3 g one (tiny g). I thought something was up, then I restarted the phone Mr. then I got a Blackberry message saying that my device was placed on the network.

  I then had access to all the features of BB as FB and BBM.

  I recently bought a sim free, the brande new bb curve and I use my sim card contract with vodafone which was formerly on a HTC sense, texts and calls work, but bbm and navigation are not, my bbm pending (awaiting authorization) when I add my friends and people do not receive requests, HELP!

  Unlike your old model HTC, BlackBerry smartphones require a BlackBerry data Plan or Plan BIS. You will need to call your operator and ask for the service to be added before BBM could be used.

  With a network carrier signal strong, I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message from your BB... ( Please wait for this before moving on to the next step) :

  (1) registry HRT

  • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
  • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

  (2) Service reference books

  • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
  • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

  (3) restart to take batt

  • With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

  I hope that will move things again for you! If this isn't the case, then you should contact your mobile provider for formal support.

  Have you checked your network. Is this picture is really uploaded under your current display picture. Are other contacts of yours, the visualization of your previous display picture or something else.

  I think I've cracked it. This cannot br yhe complete answer because I followed the advice given on the forum. I also deleted an app that was annoying me (London tube map) and the phone will reset. Then I noticed that I could send a picture again, but not all. I checked the properties of some of my photos and some were geotagged and some were not. I can send a picture if it's not geotagged. I can't send a geotagged photo. I disabled the GPS (which sometimes delays the camera anyway). I can live with no GPS, but it is essential for me to be able to send pictures. Has anyone else noticed a problem with the GPS?
