  I currently have the office via the BES emails on my blackberry 8310. Is it possible to configure mail messages display also email Gmail without touching the BES or whatever it is on exchange servers.

  To configure the gmail account, you will need to connect to the site of your carrier/service provider BIS (email configuration) and add the gmail account. This way emails can be forwarded to your phone. The phone normally has a configuration of e-mail icon that allows you to do.

  My BB 9550 verizon so far cannot be sent or received by e-mail. XL axiata (BIS). OS v5.0.0.1082. Try to complain in the XL Center and customer service says that the BlackBerry smartphone has boredom, which is true? In the service book, notice is rejected CMIME. several times I try send the maintenance of the device address, delete DM and send the book service once again, but so far is EVEN. NO CONFIGURED MESSAGE SERVICE. YOU WILL ONLY BE ABLE TO SAVE AS A DRAFT. Who's wrong? Provider XL Axiata or smart phone BlackBerry?

  After his contacts on the PC, I'll make sure that you have installed 4.7 DTM and go to the command line

  type: cd c:\program files Research in motion\apploader enter

  type: enter loader.exe /resettofactory

  This should remove the policy from IT previous of the device and wipe the device then you can resync everything back to the device.

• BlackBerry Smartphones BES did not work after upgrade from my BB Bold OS software

  After that I updated OS on my device AT & T BB Bold for BlackBerry Handheld Software v4.6.0.438 (EastAsia) including the fonts from the far East, everything including BIS email works well but my BES sync not working anymore. Then I tried to reactivate BES by using the same password of my IT Department attributed to my camera before. But I got an error message: "the server is not responding, please contact your system administrator."

  What are the potential problems?

  What should I do to get the job of BES?

  Someone there had the same question and what was the solution?

  Some messages in said BBforum reactivation is still needed after the upgrade of the OS and a new password must be reallocated by the it Department. Is this good?

  The password to activate a HH on BES will work once in total!

  So, if you previously enabled, you can not use the same password again once!

  You will need to contact your BES administrator and get them to reset your password to activate BES Acct.

  They can put the same password you have used before, but it's still a single-use password.

  Once your handet has activated this password cannot be reused.

• BlackBerry Smartphones Invalid email and password on blackberry 9790

  I have been using everything ok through POP3 email on my blackberry for the last six months and then all of a sudden yesterday asked me to check the password that I tried to do it but the only message I get, is that my user name or password is invalid.  This is not the case, as I am with the same username and password on outlook and my Ipad and these work perfectly. Can anyone help?

  We had a problem with our email on Wednesday, it is now sorted and the passwords have not been changed.

  I tried the hard reset, tried to set up online service, free books works and still will not accept the good user name and the password.  It's driving me crazy!

  Hello and welcome to the community!

  With a strong carrier network (for example, not only WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message from your BB... Please wait just before moving on to the next step):

  1) register HRT

  • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
  • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

  2) Remove and return Service books

  • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
  • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
  • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
  • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

  3) restart

  • With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes.
  • See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

  I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you should try remove and re-add your configurations for the relevant accounts. Otherwise, you should contact your mobile provider for formal support.

  My Blackberry Torch was stolen recently.  Now that I got my new camera and everything seemed to work OK.  I received emails addressed to it and who is "pushed".  I tried to download an app and had my Blackberry ID need I entered.  She would not accept my new password - so I asked to reset - but the email they were supposed to be sent to my blackberry address did not!  Does anyone have ideas, what can I do now?

  Oh okay Ouch, the using the blackberry.net email account is not good. These emails cannot be found or read any where, but on the BlackBerry smartphone.

  Personally, I never recommend using blackberry.net for this main reason e-mail accounts.

  My best suggestion is to get a gmail or yahoo account for free and create a whole new BlackberryID.

  Then, call your mobile operator Orange and ask them to bring this problem to RIM level two level tech support and get your old account merged or moved to the new BlackBerryID.

  Yes, it's complicated. But it's the only way I see possible... all this because of the password reset. Yuck, indeed.

  When I go to Blackberry.com on my "BOLD" there is a link that says "sync your music iTunes office with your blackberry smartphone: find out how.

  When I get the link to download on my PC for the media sync... It does not seem to do anything.

  This is probably a stupid question, but if I had to run VZNav and want directions, which prevents the phone from dimming mode standby after a few seconds?

  I should manually change the auto-dim setting and change when made, or the VZNav will keep the phone "awake" between directions?

  Change the application IN the VZnav options backlight, not your BB Options.

  Then the settings only apply when VZNav is running.

• The two blackBerry Smartphones, Slacker Radio and Pandora do not work

  OK, so a few days ago I was listening to the music of the Slacker Radio App and everything worked but there was absolutely no noise, so I just let go and used the music on my SD card. When I got home I restarted Slacker and there was still no sound, so I went to www.slacker.com and I found their support customer and I spoke with one of the people who work at the lazy and he had me do a battery pull - still no sound. then I uninstalled lazy and rebooted my storm and when it did reboot I reinstalled slacker - still no sound. then he had me send some logs of the Slacker app to see what they could find, and I still nothing back.

  So today, I decided to try Pandora radio and there is just no music when he has to play. I'm completely out of ideas, I know that's not the speaker because the storm music player works perfectly

  Hi, I'm new in the world of the BlackBerry. I just got a Curve 8330 for my work. I have BES (I think) implemented so sync with my outlook and works very well. I also created my gmail account to my BlackBerry BIS start-up (I think) and the operation of the BlackBerry Gmail plugin. It works fine, I get my Gmail emails, just as I thought. He put an icon on my main menu through which I can access my Gmail account. But Gmail messages also appear when I click on the normal icon to access my e-mail from work (synchronized with Outlook).   Hi and welcome to the Forums!

  By default, BES email is made only in posts emails BIS icon/App are placed in their own icons, but they are still contained in the main Messages application. This is how it works by default. It is not redundant - rather, think that Messages like the Tote place, with the BIS independent icons being a filter, traction (from message) to them only messages that relate to them... but if you act on an e-mail (read, delete, etc.) in one, the change will be reflected in the other.

  Your BES Admin can push an E-mail BES icon only to your device. This solution is free, but must be conducted at the level of the BES server and will affect all users on the BES server.

  Or you can get the application to empower BES Inbox. This solution costs (per user), but does not require a change at the server level and affects only a single user.

  Neither solution would do anything on Messages - will continue to contain what it contains today. All they will do is activate an additional icon on your home screen that is a filter for your BES emails only. You can hide or move the Messages icon/app out of the way, but beware - there are more that just the emails that arrive in Messages... it will come a day when you have a new message indicator and only by digging through Messages that you will be able to find this message.

  Well, I have another question of wifi connection, and as I looked, I came to no conclusion.

  My question is specifically about the AT & T and is a two parter.

  First of all, in the options of the mobile network, do I have to 'Data Services' to use wifi to browse the internet, email, etc.. ?

  Secondly, given that I don't have an AT & T data plan charges me for having this option turned on?

  I called AT & T and asked the same question and return the response as the one who would be positive: the representative said that I would not be charged. However, she seemed distraught, so I turn to the BB community.

  You won't get any email or data services RIM BlackBerry with WiFi only and no BlackBerry data Plan.

  Thank you for your response.  Even if I know how to change on a device that provides the option, or CP is not forced, I ask if there is a specific setting on a BES (Blackberry Enterprise Server) that could be changed in the policy so that it does not the media in CP policy.

  Just bought a Bold 9000 (my first BB) and very disappointed that separation of BES and BIS emails is not a standard feature. BES can be displayed via the files of common messages that shows everything, including BIS emails/SMS/IM etc. BIS messages can be seen in their respective folder (i.e. yahoo/gmail)

  There is a product like know empower (http://www.getempower.com/)is a PURCHASABLE third party product that is supposed to separate the mails, but it is certainly a good way to provide this functionality as part of your product that I won't have to sift through all of my emails and understand those who are BES/BIS.

  Empower the BTW does not work on later versions of the o/s of BB and this means that the "BOLD" is assigned. Come on guys, the sort...! Either buy empower and integrate into your device where it can be updated with your resource ample or build something that focuses a bit more to the needs of the customer.

  BES 4.1.5 gives you an option to separate BIS and BES mail. Also the sms/mms can be separated as well.
