• "Détarer" problem with the Torch 9800/Device Simulator

  Hello everyone,

  Im a very strange problem with the Torch 9800 (OS 6).

  I have an application developed with 5.0 SDK. Throughout the process of synchronization of this app, there is a point he gets a. tar.gz file that is unziped.   Basically, corruption may occur if you write to the stream simultaneously in different threads.  The solution is to ensure that a single file operation is occurring at a given time.  Some people have had the chance to control the size of the buffer to something as a multiple of (64 * 1024)-1. e.g. 65535.  In addition, you can rinse after each write to the buffer.  I have had no luck with this, but others.  If you look at the bug in JIRA, there is also no activity on this:

  An upgrade of this nature is generally bug fixes. If your device works well for you, there is no need to upgrade. You won't get all the new features.

• BlackBerry Smartphones Application memory depletes the Torch 9810, OS 7.1

  For a few weeks with in a day or two, the free Application reaches 10 MB memory. Rebooting frees memory, but just for a day. I have questions-
  1. is there a way to increase the memory of the Application? Other messages it does not seem possible, but thought I'd ask.
  2. How can I find what is stored in the memory of the App? I have more than 120 MB that says: "Other" in "Application Management" (about 80 MB for app). This 120Mo continues to grow over time. Do not know if I have accidentally stored anythinh here, but not there at - there a way to know what is this 'other '?
  3. is there a tool that can find what app or anything else is causing the memory increase?
  4. is it possible that some app has led to this problem or I recorded a video, etc. to the memory of the App?

  I always had more than 100 MB of free space in the memory application in recent weeks. I removed all of the apps I have installed in the past weeks, but nothing helped.

  You have two questions.  First of all, 65 MB of free space of the Application memory is not much.  Something is to take memory.  Load any new request when it started?  Do you use a card multimedia for pictures and videos?

  Second, OS earlier than I posted have problems with the 'leak' free memory down to 0 over a period of time.  At how fast depends on how much is free to start.  I would like to update your operating system with the version in the instructions below:

  3. download the OS from step 1 of the file on the PC then install on the PC by running (double click) the downloaded file.

  There is a problem of Posterization with the camera matching profiles having Lightroom for the D810. This could well be her. As I know there is no update for those yet. Try a different camera such as Adobe Standard profile. Instead of updating client Informatica & server paths PATH env variable, I created new PATH env variable and to establish client & server paths and saved. When I revisited this PATH Env variable, I was shocked to see the content of the PATH variable. I have to set back the old values like windows OS, DB etc paths paths. Could someone tell me how to make or do I have to reinstall the OS, DB, etc. Am on WIndows server 2003.
