BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry "BOLD" that makes me "BOLD"!
Hello community!
I'm having some trouble with my bb Bold 9780. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I got my brothers Bold 9780 and inserted my sim card. Everything is fine and good work until I set up my email and found that all three my email acc are already visible! The strange thing is that I have no other options - don't add new CAC, deletion or anything, just check check box either existing three (must contain the password to check) or go back. ARG!
So he asks me my password but absolutely never works. Always says "cannot end the session, please sign in again". WTF? And again and again, after trying everthing still never works.
The phone is broken? What could possibly hurt?
If someone has an idea or solutions please... I am frederic!
Thank you
You do not have something wrong. First of all, the fact that your e-mail accounts appeared when you put your SIM card in the newly acquired phone, it's because your e-mail accounts have been set up with your BlackBerry ID that is associated with your SIM card. So basically, your e-mail accounts follow your SIM card from phone to phone.
If you are having problems setting up or removing accounts e-mail on your phone, your phone browser go to http://mobile.blackberry.com . Scroll to Communications, so you can work with your account to e-mail from there.
I hope that helps you.

BlackBerry Bold 9700 smartphones may not make or receive calls
I have a blackberry bold 9700 with TMobile, who cannot make or receive calls since yesterday. Texts and e-mail work fine and I have done a battery pull approximately five times. When I try to make a call, it is this constant clicking, almost like a pulse of sound that comes through the phone. I tried to call the phone my wife and her phone rings with my number, but no voice crosses. Same problem when I receive a call, the pulse thing happens and it goes to voicemail... which of course, I can't verify.
I had this phone during nearly two years and that has never happened before. This just started yesterday past and no change to the phone (OS update, new application, etc.). Someone has an idea what is the problem?
- Perform a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart.
- If it still does not work, remove and reinsert the SIM card.
- And, if still not, go to the store of your mobile operator and get a free exchange of SIM card and check it while IN the store.

HELO everyone
I tried to upgrade my device software Blackberry Bold 9900 version 7.0.0 to version 7.1.0 but with difficulties. I tried to use the Blackberry Desktop Manager, but there was no version 7.1.0 figure among the available updates. Even when I tried to do it directly through the official website of Blackberry, also Version 7.1.0 was not shown. Finally, I tried to do the update with my phone directly by going to: Options > device > software updates.
It shows my Version 7.0.0 Bundle 2406 current and available in a version 7.1.0 Bundle 1149. But when I clicked Perform Update to download the new version, he has shown preparing to download but then displays an error message such as "Download cannot continue because your device cannot connect to the update server using the following methods: Wi - Fi.
During this time, I did not upgrade with a Wi - Fi connection because I have an active blackberry data subscription of 2 GB of my mobile operator.
Please I need help on how to perform the upgrade from version 7.0.0 to version 7.1.0 with the last packet.
Thanks to you all I'm waiting for your helpful solution.
Hello and welcome to the community!
The easiest way is, on a PC (you can not do on MAC):
(1) make sure that you have a current backup and your BB complete... you can find the instructions at the link in my auto-sig below.
2) uninstall all the BB OS packages from your PC,
(3) make sure you have the BB Desktop Software already installed
(4) download and install on your computer, the BB OS package you want:
- If all you want are the levels of BONE, it is first sorted by carrier - the carrier supports, your search will be fast. However, some carriers are much slower than others to release updates. To really get the package up-to-date OS for your BB, you need to dig through and find all businesses that support your specific model BB and then compare the BONE levels they support.
5) remove all copies of the SELLER on your PC. XML... There will be at least one and maybe 2, and they will be located in the same way or to (it changes based on your version of Windows) these files:
- C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
- C:\Users\(your Windows username) \AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML
6 (a) to change your level of BB OS installed (at level or lower), you can run the Desktop software and connect your BB... the software should offer the operating system package you have installed on your PC.
6 (b) or, for recharging your BB OS level installed as well to change, work around the Desktop software and use the CHARGER. EXE directly, through step 2 in this process:
- Note Although written to "recharge" and the storm, it can be used to upgrade, downgrade or recharge any BB device model - depends on the operating system package you download and install on your PC.
If, during the process of 6a or 6 b, your BB has an error '507', simply unplug the USB of the BB cord and reinsert it. do nothing else... This should allow the installation to continue.
If you are on a MAC, you are limited to only your sanctioned carriers OS packages... but can still use any level they currently have to sanction. See this procedure:

Good luck and let us know!

BlackBerry smartphone Blackberry Bold 9900 guard restart every 2 minutes
Hello
Here's my problem: today, after unplugging my blackberry to the computer, it has begun to close every minute (I mean, when it restarts, a minute or two after it restarts) and he did for hours!
The problem is that I can't even try to update the operating system or restore the original configuration that I don't have enough time before his stop!
I tried to use it without the SIM card, has not changed anything.
My biggest concern is that I can't do anything because I can't keep it on more than a few minutes!
Someone has already experienced the same problem? Is there a way to fix this that refer to society (hoping that the warranty has not expired...)?
Info on the device
Your operator: SFR (French)
Model information and the version of the OS: Blackberry Bold 9900
7,1,0 bundle 2061 (v 7,1,0,714 platform 5,1,0,532)
Apps and free space
Nothing to do with the battery, he pulled out several times has not changed anything.
Not many applications except the classic ones (facebook, etc...) and you have not installed a new for several months.
Unable to get much information because it maintains close and restart...
The only thing I was doing before the problem occurred he was charging on the computer (not even synchronize). I unplugged it as I always do and it started to go crazy.
What is worth a thousand words
Sorry no picture and I don't think that a photo would be helpful...
Thank you very much in advance for your help.
SIM of the France.
Sometimes things just go wobbly... Very dear, I hope that you already have a good backup of all, for what you describe, you are unlikely to be able to take one that you continue to try to recover from this situation. If your BB is very new, so you may want to just take to formal support and do not try to recover it now... After all, it might actually be a hardware problem (there is no way, at an internet distance really diagnose... perhaps we can 'deduct' material being likely, but we can't diagnose 100%).
If you want to proceed, then please follow these steps (PC, not MAC):
1) uninstall all the BB OS packages from your PC,
(2) make sure you have the BB Desktop Software already installed
(3) download and install on your computer, the BB OS package you want for your BB:
(4) If this OS package comes from one carrier other carrier for which your BB was built, then remove, on your PC, all copies of the SELLER.
Now these KBs (try them in order, please)... but whenever they speak using a 'site update', please use the Desktop software installed above instead:

- KB27956 How to recover a BlackBerry smartphone from any State

BlackBerry Bold 9900 smartphones does not
Hi everyone, I need help! I bought the blackberry bold 9900, 3 weeks ago and it was super fast, but now it's always fast but most of the time is not responding, so I have to pull the battery, I did this about 5 times for three days and the media player most of the time "processor multimedia device answer/busy is stopped." the strange thing is that all applications are closed, I don't know why its not responding, everytime I take a lot of pictures or videos. How could a smartphone as it stop responding even if it has a 1.2 GHZ, and 768 MB ram processor which is more than enough for a smartphone like this. Storage of applications: I 95.9 MB of free space and the system uses 280.1 MB which is almost half of the storage for applications. Memory: the system currently uses 433,7 MB which is also half of the memory capacity. P.S. I pulled the battery about 15 minutes ago, I use an external microsd sandisk card 8 GB class 4, to save all my files into it (songs, pictures, videos, pdf, word, etc. documents) it is 1.8 GB apart the 7.8 GB. The built in storage media's 6.0 GB and it has 5.8 GB free of it. Should not it works faster because I have a lot of free space on the bed in the storage media. There is a problem with the microsd card should I use another class for example 10. Or is it a problem with the new software? I need help please, im starting to regret buying this phone, even if I like it. Thankss
Thanks for your Post... !!
Please make a clean OS Reload using the procedure mentioned in the given URL...

Hi virgogurl88tasha
Welcome to the Forums of the BlackBerry Support
Have you tried the same SIM card on another device to see if you are able to send SMS? If you have a first then make a complete backup of your device using the BlackBerry Desktop Software, then back to factory setting to avoid any IT policy as a device, consult this Knowledge Base to help:
KB12487 : How to backup BlackBerry smartphone data using BlackBerry desktop software for Windows
Then try this:

BlackBerry Smartphones new Bold 9700 with OS6 - read Chinese
I recently got a bold 9700 my malfunction replace former bold 9700. The new OS6 makes it so different. I need to read emails in Chinese. I downloaded and installed Blackberry Desktop Software version 6.0 Multilingual. When go to Applications, there are only 7 described applications. I couldn't find the "East Asian character and Suppor of fonts that I used to add to my previous bold 9700. Help, please.

I went to the site of software support,
http://us.BlackBerry.com/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp

Download "BlackBerry Handheld Software v6.0.0.2342 (all languages)"
I installed it, this time, all applications when has appeared on the Application, even the Chinese Pin - Yin entry.
It took some time to update all of blackberry, but it worked, I can see the emails in Chinese and browse Chinese web sites. I did not understand how yet to input Chinese, but it's good enough. I hope it helps you too.

BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry Bold 9900, unable to scroll down
I had this problem for several weeks now, I tried to look at the forums but I was unable to find a decent solution for the issue.
I can't scroll downwards or upwards using the trackpad. I did a diagnostic self test and the trackpad seems to work very well. I can see the icons highlight that I move the trackpad on the left, right, up and down, but as I move the cursor to the bottom, the screen doesn't seem to follow. I tried to do a battery pull, increasing the sensitivity of my trackpad, factory reset but none of these work. If I try to manually move the menu down using the touchscreen, it works but is extremely laggy. I don't have a lot of apps on here apart from the standard applications that is pre-installed, and I downloaded Facebook, twitter, and natwest.
Any suggestions?
Phone: Blackberry Bold 9900
Software version: 7.1.0 Bundle: 2061
After messing around throughout the day yesterday, I managed to make it work.
Here's what I did in case anyone has the same problem.
First of all, I did a factory reset, remove all applications and settings. Then I connected the phone to my computer, installed office program and installed the older version of the OS on my phone. It did not always work, so I restarted the phone in safe mode. The problem had not been resolved, so I gave up. After its return to the phone after a few hours the problem seemed to have smooth itself out in safe mode. I kept the phone on the older version so I hope that the same situation from happening again.

Smartphones from blackBerry Bold 9900 set up the e-mail icon does not not :(
I had to go back to Blackberry Bold 9900 for awhile my Q10 screen is cracked and I sent it to be repaired. I put the new sim card in and try to set up the e-mail account he showed me the mail of size and I knew that something is wrong. I called my network provider and they have implemented my Blackberry data plan and I signed up with blackberry network. I turned my phone market and bb next to the network icon icon appeared which is good. But when I go to set up an email account and click the "email accounts" nothings happens. called my network, they do not know how to help me...
Hello and welcome to the community!
With a strong carrier network (for example, not only WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message from your BB... Please wait just before moving on to the next step):
1) register HRT
- KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
- Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application
2) Remove and return Service books (pre-BB10 only devices)
- KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
- If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
- KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
- Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.
3) restart
- Pre-BB10 ONLY devices. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes.
- Peripheral BB10. Hold the top button until the counter reaches zero. Wait for the unit to be completely stopped (for example, nothing appears on the screen, no lights, etc.). Hold the top button until the red light. Wait through the entire boot process. IF this fails, you can try the method of battery-pull above, but it is normally NOT recommended unless nothing else works.
- See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.
I hope that will move things again for you! If this isn't the case, then you can try this link from your BB browser:
Otherwise, you should contact your mobile provider for official support... but this time do not let you fob off the coast. You pay for your services, making them responsible for your formal support service, including if necessary climbing to BlackBerry-related.
Good luck!

BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry "BOLD" playing music to lift itself
Since yesterday, my Blackberry "BOLD" started playing music to lift itself. The only way I can get it to stop is to make a phone call. Does anyone have any ideas on how to do to stop this?
I doubt it's water or physical damage. Could be... simply not something I've seen.
My best guess is that a notification any has been set to music.
And my next question what is the music? Can you watch on your "BOLD" > music and find the same music file?
Or, try this... from the home screen of your BlackBerry, press and hold the Menu button for about two seconds until the manoeuvre app bar appears. Tell me ALL the icons in the Ribbon, he...

Reader PDF No. Smartphones blackBerry in BlackBerry Bold 9780
Hello
I use BlackBerry Bold 9780 and have Documents to Go, leaves to Go and slides to Go to view Word, Excel, and Powerpoint documents respectively. I saw in the new BlackBerry Curve 9220 there is a built-in app named 'Documents to Go '. By which anyone can view the lyrics, Excel and Powerpoint documents with PDF files for free. But I can't able to view PDF files in my Bold 9780 which is more cumbersome and expensive smartphone than the curve 9220.
That's why I want to know where can I get an app 'Documents to Go' compact for free and which is also a PDF reader. Please see my above correction... in my haste, I mistyped the step number for the download of dig through portal. Apology.
FYI - in the described situation so far, unlocked or not is irrelevant. Any bundle of BONES of carriers can be used on any model BB even number on any other carrier (via the removal of the SELLER. XML files). The BB is unlocked or not has no bearing on this factor. The sole purpose of unlocking is to actually use the BB on a different medium that those for which the BB was built. But even a locked BB may use a different carriers OS package.
Good luck!

WHITE of Smartphones blackBerry BOLD 9900 - a few questions
Hello
I have a Samsung Galaxy NOTE, but cannot type well enough with the touch screen, am looking at the BBB 9900, preferably in white. So, im, considering the pros and cons of a white "BOLD" but I'm
intrigued that it's
- NOT universally available in Western Canada
- not offered on the site of bb in white (when I click on the white color then the bold 9900 faints as an option to purchase)
- not available mobile wind (only in black)
- quoted on ebay package brand new, open, not damaged between $ 500 and $ 800 and a seller Ebay says NOT AVAILABLE for CANADA
Q1: Since it is only available in black at WIND MOBILE - so if I buy it in white on EBay - does make a difference (the package said--no open - unused - intact)
Q2: Can U see no downside to use white (the question mark does not have this form of forum) except that it is no longer visible in white and can be more easily stolen
Q3: On several languages - when I type a text msg in English I want to also use a few words in Korean: is it possible with blackBerry 9900 (question mark). On my Samsung Galaxy Note - When I slip my finger along the space bar I can switch the language - can BBB9900 do this (question mark).
Q4: If I get BBB 9900 (im in Vancouver, British Colombia) I would bring her to a shop where they can put up correctly, including the upgrade to the latest version. Repair shop to recommend a BB 9900 u in or near Vancouver can please (question mark).
Thank you for your support
Q1: What are the main differences between the different holders of are the frequencies that carriers use to 3G. So, if buy you one on eBay you may be limited on BOARD and get 3G data speeds.
Q2: The color of the device has nothing to do with all the features.
Q3: We language device options, but probably do not come with other languages. You will need to find a BONE that contains the desired languages.
Q4: There is no reason to get into a store. As long as the device you purchase is unlocked for use on other networks, you'll need to do is insert the sim card and it should work. It takes a special data plan your carrier's BlackBerry so that data to work services.

My applications are not open on Blackberry Bold 9780 after their download of Blackberry App World. They complete the download, they are free applications. When I press the button to open the application, it does absolutely NOTHING. I don't know what else to do, so I have remove off the 9780. Please help me! -Jennifer
I guess what I'm confused about this... is if we are going to solve all the apps that does not open, and now you have removed people... How shall we proceed?
Who is?
Let me to this Counsellor... Once you have downloaded an app from AppWorld, even if you are not invited to do, once the app is installed, make a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart.

BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry Bold 9930 update failed and the software does not load
I have a Blackberry Bold 9930 and yesterdasy I received a msg saying to upgrade to 7.x software Blackberry. I followed the instructions (takes too long like 2 hours to download) and then. Big mistake because it cooked my phone. It seems that when you upgrade, the upgrade process goes thru, but stops after the time zone to restore the process and reports an error 602 with a reset button to reset your database. The reset button does not work and I restarted the phone to restore the db. At the moment that it restarts, launched the process, and even once, it failed after the msg indicating time zones (100% and overall restoration treatment 7%). Zones roughly completed, but then I got a msg saying I wandered 602 belive. On all courses was about 5 to 10 percent. Now my phone is undesirable because it does not restart. Verizon says they have a large number of phones across the country, but BlackBerry says it's a matter of Verizon... Someone at - he already heard of this I am now without such a 4 days while I get a replacement Friday because of the holiday... I am not very happy as another question, I found - during the upgrade process it used the cells instead of my wirelss home network to download the software and it really took about 2 to 3 hours, then another hour before it failed during the upgrade process. So about. 3 to 4 hours to play with an upgrade yesterday.
Thank you
Rich
Hello merlin02131
Welcome to the Forums of the BlackBerry Support
Sorry to hear about the problem you are experiencing during the update!
But you can still use Desktop Software for the update process, personally, I prefer never to do an Over the Air update. I think that something has gone wrong with the update process and thus you encounter this error 602.
You have a backup of your device, or using BlackBerry protect for the backup?
If you wish you can try several method to recover your device of this error, all you need is a PC and an Internet connection active. But attention, this method deletes the data user in this device. This is the Knowledge Base to follow:
KB10144 : How to force detect the BlackBerry smartphone using the Application Loader
Additional information:
KB29237 : "App Error 602" appears on the BlackBerry smartphone running BlackBerry 7
